There were 2 kiosks, one was broken and the other didn't work very well. As an employee if you saw customers struggling maybe offer to help? Or just keep talking to each other through your headphone things. The workers here chose the second option. The only staff member visible was cleaning (poorly) while telling the person on the other end of her headphones how the manager yelled at her for crumbs being left behind. "Well if he says anything tomorrow I'm going to tell him it was the customers here" while skipping a dirty table completely. Even with the worker "cleaning" the place felt dirty. Because it was. There were a couple flys around the soda machine, and a couple more by the two booths. I chose a table in the corner. There were a couple of dead bugs (small winged, not flies) on the windowsill) it was the only table that *looked* clean. 2 restrooms...one with an out of order sign. The food was fine I guess. I don't want to think about it too hard. There was ketchup on the outside of my burger wrapper...so that was fun to get on my hands just taking it off the tray. ‍ And for the record, I do like whataburger as a chain in general, but this one was rough. Oh and on the kiosk it asked about things like ketchup and sauces.... if you're going to let me add these things to the order please actually include them instead of me having to go ask for them. Despite it being busy, the noise level was very reasonable. Jocelyn was our server and she was awesome. Very attentive and helpful despite having several tables. The food was delicious, but so filling. I'm not usually a corn bread person, but this was incredible and with the honey butter spread .. wow. Also- the cheesecake was the best I've had, hands down. Even better than the establishment known for cheesecake Edit: We came back for breakfast the next morning and weren't disappointed with breakfast, either. The pancake is still shockingly large despite knowing it's a 14" cake. It's hands down the best pancake I've had. Usually they're just bread to me, but this one was delicious even without butter or syrup. Make sure to order their special bacon if you want to try it- the menu says bacon, but it's just traditional bacon unless otherwise specified.
