I come here often and I'm always very disappointed in the way the employees communicate and the frequency of them being out of menu items. They are borderline rude, don't seem to be happy working there and rarely apologize for being out of things, which is very common. The food is usually good, which keeps me coming back, but they have very few employees that use common courtesy. I'm often made to feel like I'm bothering them. Never have I ever sat in a drive thru for ten minutes just to order. Then told "we're filling a sport order so it may be a minute." Sounds like poor planning to me. Don't offer a drive through if it's going to be thirty minutes to get our food. In all my life I've never waited in a drive through so long. Terrible food management and preparedness. The employees need to be better trained and communicate with each other. I ordered a Mediterranean Bowl with chicken. When I went to the window to pick it up, I was told they are out of the tzatziki sauce. They did not communicate that with me before making my my bowl. He offered me the bowl and asked if there was another dressing I would like in its place. I requested the dressing for the southwest bowl. After a minute or two he came back and said sorry we're out of that one as well. I asked for a regular Italian dressing as a substitute and went to eat my bowl. And then realized they had left also out the hummus, so I went back and said may I have the hummus that goes on the bowl, and he said I thought I put that on there. I started eating my bowl and realized the chicken had also been left off. At this point, it was not worth going up again. There is no excuse for leaving 3 items off an order. The very polite young lady, who took my order, should have been updated by her manager and kitchen staff of the shortages of dressing. I ordered at 9:30 am. Really good Panera. My bread was very nicely toasted for the steak and cheddar that was very good. It was worth the wait. The soup was served piping hot. Stop asking for tips! This is a fair review after our family eating there yesterday. This is one of my wife's favorite places, so we go when we are around one. We would all say that the food was pretty *delicious*. And the portion sizes were also very adequate. I did take off 3 s because: 1. They charged $5.79 for a fountain drink for a 30oz cup. 2. They also ask for a tip when there is no tipable work being done. We came to get all of our food. We got our own drinks. We also took time to sort our dishes and trash (about 3 minutes extra). Also, the ordering process was confusing as extra items were added without us saying so. read more

But honestly, there are two girls cooking as I saw seven orders up on the screen moving as fast as I can I watched the manager (older heavy female) come to the kitchen to grab herself a drink and go back to the office instead of helping out. My wife and I went into Panera Bread today just to try their advertised new Teriyaki Chicken and Broccoli Bowl. Well we were greeted by a young lady who's badge said she was a Manager. When we ordered the two bowls we were told they were out of rice. It is so sad and frustrating these days to go to a chain restaurant to be told they are out of food. Really, isn't it a Managers job to assure that they have rice for their rice bowls? And the person did not even seem to care. We told her we would eat at some other Restaurant and she just said OK. I placed an order on Panera's app for delivery.. it said the food would take just over an hour to come. 45 minutes later I missed a call from a Door Dash driver asking what kind of bagel we wanted because the one we ordered was no longer available.. when I didn't answer or call back (I don't answer obscure, out of state numbers) they canceled my order. I received an email from Panera... they said they refunded my order in this email. Feeling oh so hungry and with disappointed kiddos, I replaced the order for pick up.. My friend picked it up for us because he was already driving my by Panera and coming here to fix my sink tonight. They left out a drink, a turkey sandwich, and a large mac n cheese. And all of the food was cold. Literally cold soups, cold everything. I noticed along the way that my $76.25 was not refunded but instead, double charged. So I paid $152.50 for nothing.. I called Panera and they said DoorDash had to refund, I called DoorDash and they said Panera had to refund (keep in mind the charges are from Panera on my acct). So I called Panera corporate and they said they'd escalate the issue, but I've not received any type of refund. So when we found the missing meals, I called again.. and they were unbelievably rude. The manager asked for my card number to refund the 2 items, apparently the rest of our meal being cold and terrible didn't matter to them. Or the fact that I had now spent upwards of $200 for some cold soup, sandwiches and a cookie.. You can't make this stuff up. So I read my card #, then another person came on unannounced and said "ma'am, your card number"... I said "I just read it to you", she said "no that was my manager and she had to go". HUH? We will not be going to our local Panera again. My husband and I went out for date night, and we had a very good time. We shared a pic two where I got a roasted turkey and avocado BLT and he got the mac & cheese with bacon. Both were absolutely delicious and the service was very pleasant! The cappuccino was really good as well! On a sidenote, Apple Pay worked great for me while I was there, so if you're into that you shouldn't have a problem. The only complaint I have is that the parking lot is way too dark at night. Up until today we have had a good experience at this location. No so this time. We arrived at about 6:15 pm and it was somewhat busy. We only had to wait a few minutes which was no problem. My wife and I ordered soup, I usually get an apple but she gets bread for her soup. We were told they were out. How can a company with bread in their name be out of bread so early in the evening. I asked if she could have a slice of bread instead but was told they were too busy to give her one. We almost cancelled the order but decide to wait anyway. I handled the bread situation by buying a bagel to have with the soup. Our soup was brought to our table in 35 minutes, but at least it was fairly hot. We probably won't be back, at least in the evening. read more

To start off, I love and always have enjoyed Panera when I go. This time was a bit different. Me and my family decided to come here for lunch on our Branson trip. One of us ordered a bagel with cream cheese, when it came out it was not cut or toasted like we expected. When we brought it up to the counter and asked them if we could have it cut and toasted they said to cut it ourselves and warm it up in the microwave. I have never gotten told to do that at a Panera, meanwhile they had a bagel slicer right behind them! Also, most the tables weren't clean, a employee drug a trash bag across the floor that left a trail of trash juice across the floor and didn't clean it up. The bathrooms weren't very clean either. This was just disappointing for a Panera, I've always had a good experience at Panera in my hometown. For the food, I ordered mine to-go and they didn't add napkins or silverware. Worst Panera ever! Ordered online and it wasn't ready, that's the least of the issues. My daughter asked twice if there was ranch and crackers in the bag and the girl assured there was... nope. My son was sick back in the room and needed the crackers. We also ordered 2 cups of soup. The grilled cheese I ordered for my sick son was inedible - tiny and burnt for $6.00. Ridiculous. Rather disappointed in our Rapid Pick-up today at Panera in Branson. As a Panera regular, I have come to expect an experience from my favorite locations. This one was sorely lacking. The large order (almost $50) was placed via the app and ready upon pickup. The Lentil Quinoa bowl was barely half full. For over $9, this is unacceptable. The chicken noodle soup had about 5 noodles and no chicken. The salads were maybe half full on their take out boxes. The sandwiches were thrown together. The latte machine was broken and therefore could not order the coffee we wanted. There were no napkins to be found, tables were dirty throughout the dining room. We shopped for sourdough bread at Panera for many years. Using the Panera app. we ordered Sourdough bread and 2 sesame bagels and paid for it in the app yesterday 7/11/21. We drove 1.5 hrs to get to Branson today. When we went in to get our order after the appointed time, we were told, "We don't have it." This is the same answer by the clerk and manager at 4:10 pm on 7/12/21. The clerk even remembers seeing our app order earlier in the day. There were no phone calls to us the customer; no excuses at all. They had sold their supply without regard to a prior Panera app order that had been paid for order from the day before. And, they never cared to call the customer whose bread they sold. They never offered to check any other Panera to ship it to us.
