We have eaten at Panera for many many years, although I haven't been there in about a year now, went in today for lunch. We always get a pick two which as we remember for a price you could pick a half sandwich and choose a soup or salad, today the pick two was picked by sandwich and an additional charge for a cup of soup, so what's the purpose now of a pick two? Prices went way up. We ordered it took 25 minutes for the order to come to the table, the soup was Luke warm and the guts of the sandwich was spilled over to one side of the bread , had to take the sandwich apart and construct it in the way it was meant to be. There was a couple sitting next to us while we're waiting on our order, the woman threw away over half her sandwich and her husband threw away about a fourth of his. We looked around the restaurant and there were only seven other people there, I'm use to the restaurant being full which surprised me. I guess they are having the same experiences we had, after all these years we will not return, sorry but your food is now way over priced, I don't mind that so much as the quality of the food was not good this time, the soup was barely warm and the wait time was excessive read more

Terrible customer service! The young gal taking our order was so careless and had no sign of wanting to be helpful. I asked what hot tea they had and her response was LITERALLY I don't know... my husband and I just ordered 2 bagels with cream cheese... we payed and then she literally walked away from the register ... we didnt know if we were supposed to wait for our food or go sit down? There was LITERALLY no communication! I think this place needs to train their young little teenage employees to have better customer service. It was such an unpleasant experience. And it took them FOREVER to make our bagel. Finally my husband went up to go check and they had just toasted his and had it sitting off to the side on a plate. They handed it to him with no cream cheese or my bagel. the manager gave us a free cookie for our trouble but it did not justify the poor service we received. Travelers from Michigan. All the Paneras we visit are pretty consistent. What I noticed right away at this one, though, was the care and concern given to all customers. But I could see that one Panera employee, Todd, went out of his way, more than a few times to check on an elderly couple and others after they received their order to make sure they had everything they needed, sometimes requiring several trips back and forth. After reading some of the other reviews, while I sit here, back again to this Panera, I'm listening over the wall to pay attention to how customers are treated here and I'm hearing really good things. Detailed explanations to those who have never been here before. Even one customer who had an issue went out of here happier, due to how their situation was handled. I have eaten at many Paneras in an assortment of states, however I really felt this location stood out in particular due to their ultra friendly/ happy go lucky staff. I went in during my lunch break for a quick bite to eat and to get some work done; the staff was happy (at least they appeared to be), friendly and helpful. They definitely didn't come off as if they were miserable to be there working, as you get from some employees anywhere you go. On another note, I had the Mediterranean veggie sandwich for the first time of my many visits to Panera and it sure was delicious. I am definitely ordering that again. I was in town just til Monday to deal with family things and really wanted to hit Panera. And I am so glad I did! Customer service and teamwork was astonishing!! like seriously, I know everyone is living through a pandemic but the staff here made me feel as if Covid hadn't completely wrecked my life! This Panera was down the street from our resort when we visited Branson a year ago. We went for breakfast one day and lunch on another day and both times we were very satisfied. They make all of the sandwiches fresh for breakfast and lunch so when you receive them they are hot and delicious. I mean we could just go down there relax, read the paper, and even enjoy the free Wi-Fi service while you enjoy your meal. The service people are great...and they don't mind you hanging out and best of all it is walking distance to Branson's version of the vegas strip for all your entertainment purposes. Since this is the only panera in this area, when you go to branson stop by and pay them a visit. Eat, Drink and be Merry my friends!!!! read more

Every time I come here on Sunday evenings, all of the workers are so kind and welcoming. The cafe is always nice and clean -- a place I would love to eat every single day if I could! Loved their Potato soup but at this location you will find it totally watered down and the Bacon on our sandwiches were half cooked! Then there was the MEN'S Room!!! It smelled like Calcutta in July and the bathroom stall's had rusted walls and dirty filthy floors. I know it can get busy but damn that was truly shocking! As with most Panera cafes this one is poor on customer service. The pony tailed manager appears disorganized while patrons are waiting in line to order. When my hot food to-go order was complete, the cook brought it, said "here" and tossed it on the table. With other food options available, those may be a better choice than this Panera. read more

Wonderful experience! When i walked in the staff was very welcoming. The clerks name was Joey and that young man was so polite which isn't as common as it used to be. Everything in the bakery looked very tasty, and my food was all hot and the staff got it out super quick. The manager on staff, I believe his name was Drew was not just bossing his team around but actually supporting them and making everything run smoothly. Panera in Branson has always had cheerful staff and a welcoming atmosphere. It's a nice place to spend or kill some time. As a woman and a mother I also want to add that the bathrooms are always clean. It get's busy during tourist season...but it's never run me off I still enjoy eating there even with bus loads of tourists. -But- The main reason I got on yelp (to make my first Review ever) is to brag, I'm not sure who the guy and girl were that served my Mom, but 'THANK YOU!'. She had told the staff that I'd had some dental work done, and asked if they could blend their Broccoli and Cheddar soup. (She fibbed. I NEEDED dental work done on an abscessed tooth, but it was Fourth of July weekend.) They couldn't put it in a blender for me, but the guy offered to sift through the soup to weed out as many chunks as he could. It seems so trivial, but I felt horrible and all I wanted was some yummy soup. It meant the world to me that they went the extra step to cater to me. Fourth of July weekend in Branson and this guy offered to spend more time on a soup order. Outstanding! I ate every bite. There were no chunks. We had a great experience at this particular Panera but we love Panera in general! In Branson for a vacation and after a nice day at Silver Dollar City where we had a great time we had a taste for a salad and pulled into the lot about 8:01 and they were locking up but Joey the Shift Manager called out to us and said we could come in and order. Once in we ordered the Cob Salad and a Frontega Chicken sandwich with the Green Passion Tea. Everyone was so nice even though we extended their night bu at least 10 minutes. Our first visit to Branson and we were in the mood for something "not fried". The kids were complaining, we were tired and although we try to stay away from chains as much as possible, Panera was just what the Dr ordered. We ordered a salad and soup and crystal did exactly what we asked and had it divided into 3 small portions for each kid. Then Jennifer spent "extra" time making sure the portions were correct. We are here from Illinois with our 9 yr old granddaughter who loves Panera. We arrived around 7:30 pm. The place was not busy, maybe 6 tables were occupied. The food preparation area was my first indication that we probably shouldn't stay but my Granddaughter had her heart set on it. Went to find a seat, tried to sit at several booth seats but couldn't due to food all over seats. Finally found a table that I had to wipe off. I told the manager while I passed him he had several seats that needed wiped off. The carpets were covered with food. Didn't looked like anyone has swept all day. When our soup arrived my granddaughter asked why her broccoli cheddar was so dark, well I know why it was probably old. Probably soup that has been cooking for hours. When we were leaving the area where you empty and put you dirty plates was disgusting. Again no one was cleaning up. I refuse to pay $30 for soup and a side of bread and then have to clean up my own table. Obviously Panera doesn't have quality manager training. read more

Once again... Panera satisfies with consistent soufle, pastries, soups, and palettable coffee. We had all these items in Brandon and loved having a familiar place close to our hotel. The only thing consistently bad about Panera is the confusing queue when in line... they need a sign explaining how things work. And they run out of coffee too often. read more

I placed an online "rapid pick-up" order with the Branson Panera location. I work for a local business which had out of town clients in office for meetings, and as such, placed an order for lunch their lunch. When the individual picking up our "rapid pick-up" arrived, he was told one of the sandwiches we'd ordered was no longer available, yet we were not prevented from placing the order for that particular item. He had to call into the office and we had to interrupt a meeting in progress to get another order which we then had to wait to be prepared. When the online order was placed, a cell phone contact was provided as was an email address. No one at Panera picked up the phone to notify us that there was an issue with our order despite having contact information. As a result, lunch was delayed by almost a half an hour which kind of put a wrench in the schedule/agenda we had laid out for the day. I've been local to the area for 19 years and have eaten at this location many times - I know they can do better. What's even more disappointing is their website does not offer any real options for customer feedback. You can email them, but you're limited to 500 characters. SERIOUSLY disappointed and will not be depending upon this service in the future unless drastic changes are made to the process. read more

Always good to find familiar food when traveling and in my opinion, Panera is one of the best. High quality, fresh, healthy foods. We split an artichoke and and spinach soufflé and a bowl of Power Almond Quinoa Oatmeal. Both were outstanding. Only complaint is they ran out of coffee at 8:00 AM. read more

Their coffee is AWFUL!!! I ordered a cappuccino and had to take it back because it was pure warm milk!!! My guess is that it only contained a drop a watery coffee! The second time they prepared it, it was a little bit better because I gave the employee instructions on how to make it, and still she did her thing and the coffee still tasted like milk and not coffee!!! Really who doesn't LOVE the food at Panera Bread but service at this location is too unreliable to over look. I have been going here since February. At first, I allowed for mess ups because it was off season and they seemed short staffed. Their beverage areas are always dirty. Yes, it may be the time that I go, but really, is it ever acceptable to not have enough help to clean them? For me, no. Yesterday I went in and there were two lines, the "regular" line and one at the pastry dept. Each had a customer so I got into the regular line. The person at the pastry line finished her order before the person in front of me so I glanced over hoping the girl at the register would help me. She put her head down and started "making busy." The line at the "regular" register continued to grow while she made like she was busy doing . . . . something more important than waiting on customers. Then, a guy walked and got in the end of the "regular" line. All of a sudden she's not busy, she can help him. He is fourth in line. But he jumps to the front. Being the generous person that he was, he jumped right up, winked and placed his order. I was on my lunch break for work and so that was irritating. This is one example. Every now and then you go in and there's a manager on duty who seems to have it together and the place runs smoothly. Other times they run out of soup at 4:00 in the afternoon. Really. You haven't even hit dinner rush yet and you are out of soup? Or, you call in your order and go to pick it up only to find it hadn't been placed. Again, great food, poor leadership.
