Ethan has helped me 3 times now.. First time when I locked myself out and replacing locks and door knobs the other times. My house is older with some thinner doors and smaller bore holes on locks. Excellent service! Called after hours for help with a lockout situation. Their lockout service was backlogged but Ethan offered to come by within the hour, which he did and texted me prior to arrival. The condition of the jammed lock was challenging and Ethan tried different things to fix it. He didn't just give up after a try or two and kept at it until he found at least a temporary solution. He even offered to come by at a later time to completely fix the lock. Udi was on time and was able to insert a cylinder into a patio door that we wanted to lock on my mom's patio door in her unit in Rossmoor. The two stars is because she was charged nearly double what I was told. i was quoted around $100 if he could make a cylinder work, but $250-$300 if he needed to replace the handle. He was able to replace the cylinder in under an hour and handed us a bill for $190.00 and revised his replacement handle estimate to $350 to $400--AFTER the job. It felt a lot like a bait and switch. Evidently, his initial quote did not include labor or the service call, which I think is ridiculous. People expect to be quoted one price. Also scratched the metal on both sides and did not clean the very messy abrasions all over the white side of the door handle that he made. read more
