This man, (nice Ukrainian guy, I kept calling him Superman) was SO SO KIND! I need to have a shot with this guy or talk to him again if the company can know who worked 7am-11pm June 7th 2025. He was a bit late, but understanding jobs take a long time, he had a delay. We waited from 8pm to about nearly 11pm, but honestly, when your keys go swimming in the ocean, what choice do you have? He was so nice to the two girls in my car, offering coffee, water, and a candy bar for the long wait. The man took it all apart, put it all together pretty quick, and for the stress we all went through, we all want to reach out again and say we are so grateful. $450 was such a deal to get home! I'm very pleased with this company, and would recommend them if your keys go on vacation and don't show up again (at half moon bay state beach.) The locksmith they sent out permanently damaged our front door. The locksmith also did not clean up after himself. Left a big mess for us to clean up. Edit: after lying to me and saying I had the wrong number and changing their number and blocking mine multiple times. They also played games with the appointment times etc and didn't come back until over 24 hours late. They came back. The door is at least secure for the night but now we have 3 keys to get into our house instead of 2 and the goal was one. They admitted to hiring a subpar 3rd party. Waiting to hear from the owner. To sum it up for now the door is aesthetically ruined, we now have different keys for every single lock and every single entrance into our home, poor customer service, and don't seem very interested in fixing it. I am more than happy to edit this review when and if they do right by us. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company. read more

Disappointed. I spent over $600 to re-key three locks at my house. The tech arrived in an unmarked Prius and without a uniform identifying as a Locksmith tech. I had to verify the tech on myself as best I could. The tech worked in the front seat of his car, not a work van. The Locksmith tech was a nice person, but not skilled or professional. The tech had to make several attempts to re-key the locks. The tech had problems reassembling the lock mechanisms such as forgetting parts. The tech didn't tighten down my front door handle so it pulled-off a few days later. I had to enter from garage door. I installed the handle myself. Thankfully I am handy and have Allen Wrench set, I but not a qualified locksmith. Finally, the tech seemed to want a tip added for the job. I have never tipped a technician, mechanic, tradesperson like a plumber, carpenter, mason. I will never use this service again, nor can I recommend this company with good conscience. read more

I went with this business because they overall had good ratings but once I had an appointment it was all downhill from there. They wanted to charge $100 for a weekend appointment so I waited until a weekday to save $50. I understand that businesses need to compensate for travel, gas, etc. regardless of outcome. I told them over the phone, before the appointment, that the problem with the lock was intermittent. The appointment window was 10-11 but the guy called me at 10:58 and said he would arrive in 20-30 minutes. He didn't arrive until 10:45. Then because the lock started working again he told me that he couldn't fix it. It's a Baldwin lock and he told me to call Baldwin for a replacement. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. Basically because it started working, he wouldn't touch it. "Roy" also showed up in a Tesla, not a company car. Then I couldn't find them on Yelp because they receipt for the $50 doesn't match the actual company name. I was ready to report FRAUD and still considering doing so. For now. I have to agree with everyone else on this thread about cost. While the locksmith stayed longer than expected to fix a challenging lock, the final price was a disgrace. The call out fee was $29. The final bill was just shy of $1000 with no heads-up along the way that, 'hey, to fix this lock is going to cost $1000.' I wasn't given a price over the phone was told they had to look at the car first when they came they showed me 2 keys 1 for $180 and the other for $280 which had all the buttons to lock and unlock it. They were at my house for about an hour then they said they still couldn't get the code and they would be back in an hour when they came back he told me he would give me the $280 key for the same price as the first one. After all was said and told the price I was given at the beginning was $360 180 for key and 180 to program it. Somehow the final price got changed from $380 to $545 FOR ONE KEY. He told me he never said it was $180 but I have it recorded on the ring of him saying it. And he said I had to pay for his time and gas service fees and tax. I called and set appointments with 2 other locksmiths, and then never called me back, came to my house or called to tell me they aren't coming. My technician was Tom. He is very communicative on what he is going to do, and very verbal to call me to confirm our appointment, tell me how far he is from my house, and how long it will take him. His work was quality, fast, and affordable. He arrived around 2 o'clock (like he said he would) and left within the hour, talk about speed. I needed someone to come program an ECU to my Jeep Liberty so I called this guy. My car would start but die out seconds later but after this guy put his hands on it my car would not crank at all. I know how to program a computer box to a car but I don't have a programmer. And this guy said he knows what he was doing so I let him do his thing. He made a copy of my key in his car. Told me he couldn't find the "key code" to the car told me it costs $80 to get it from the dealership. Ended up fucking up the new ECU to the Jeep. Now it doesn't even work. Told me I still needed to pay him $30 fee for showing up. I didn't give him SH*T! He had a "trainee"or something with him and started yelling at him in their language to get in the car. They both got in the car and he sped out. How professional? How you go to someone's house and fuck up their car and demand $220 plus $30 show up fee. Once here, I realized that I didn't have the keys to the deadbolt and doorknob of garage door. So Shon helped change both those locks instead and happened to have matching locks in his car that were the exact same ones we had. He also worked really fast.
