I normally don't write reviews, but had to recommend this company. Bryan and his team are fantastic! They did a great job installing cameras for us. There were no inconsistencies like we've dealt with before. We had cameras installed before and the guys did not set up the cameras right and we had blind spots. Brian listened to us and knew exactly what we wanted and what to do to accommodate us. He and his team were a pleasure to work with. They were very friendly, courteous and professional. The cameras look and work great. We got the day/night color vision. It makes a big difference to be able to see color at night and not get the blurred grayed fuzziness. The cameras are clear and you can make them even clearer by switching to HD. If you are looking for surveillance cameras for your home/office I highly recommend Brian and his team. You will not be disappointed. We are glad to say that we are happy we selected them. S.C. read more

Two cameras went out. Bryan replaced the NVR at a cost of over 1500 dollars. The problem persists. I attempted numerous times by e-mail and phone over many weeks to get someone to respond. No luck. Customer Service? read more

Pro-techs is one of the few companies we could find that installs 3rd party cameras. We bought Reolink wireless solar cameras for our community outdoor spaces to save on installation costs, and Brian and his team set them up easily. I deducted a star since I felt the sales rep wasted our time (it was very difficult to try to politely end the video call with him) by trying to tell us that consumer-grade cameras weren't going to meet our needs and he tried to upsell us by showing an unrealistic simulation of how fuzzy the images would look compared to their systems he wanted us to buy. Brian wasn't able to get one of our pre-existing wired professional camera system to work, and he dropped communication and delayed appointments by months several times while this was all happening, but I appreciate that he didn't charge us for this, so I'm just adding this as an FYI. read more

I bought an eight cameras system from Costco. I spoke with at least 10+ different companies to compare with pricing, attitude and how they will do the installation. I got quotes from $100-$200/camera to $85-$250/hr to $5000 for a complete job. Really, I spent a month of research on this. Brian gave me reasonable pricing and amazing job well done. I'm so happy that I chose Pro-Techs. They are very professional. Brian gave me input on how and where to put the camera. I'm OCD so I was ready to clean after them but they cleaned up after themselves after each room they went. I will highly command them to anyone I know and I don't know. Don't waste your time looking around. You found it. It is right here. read more

Brian and his team were very professional and thorough, when installing a security camera system at my home. He provided very good suggestions on camera placement, explained how to operate and configure the NVR system very patiently, and all the work was clean and extremely well done. Post installation, they provided support over e-mail or phone, with the same patience and with detailed answers/ suggestions, to address any questions or concerns. read more

I generally use Yelp mainly to get information and not to write reviews. However, I felt it was 100% necessary to give Brian and Pro-Techs Security a 5 star review for the masterful job he did setting up a 4 camera video surveillance at our single family residence in San Jose. I did a lot of research prior to contacting Brian and I spoke with 4-5 other vendors and it took me a long time to get all of the information I needed (mostly due to language barriers). Pro-Techs was the last call I made and within minutes Brian was able to answer all of my complicated questions and had a solution which was far better quality than the other vendors and even at a more competitive price. The range I got in quotes was anywhere from $2200-2800 and they were more competitively priced than the others. Brian did a wonderful job with the installation and was flexible/punctual with my schedule and finished the job in 1/2 a day. After completion, he set up the video on all of our smart phones, computers, and tablets and provided user instructions on how to operate the system. He took the time and did a precise job with the camera angles and installed tamper proof dome cameras. I am incredibly pleased with the product and Brian has been super easy to work with, answers his phone all the time, and has helped me troubleshoot minor issues. If you are looking for a home video surveillance system that is high-quality and reliable, do not look anywhere else. read more

Brian and his team installed a home security system in my condo in San Francisco in under 3.5 hours for a competitive price. Brian is highly responsive to communication, he and his team were professional and friendly, and they showed up exactly when they said they would. I am a satisfied customer and now I have a great security system in my home. It was great to work with Pro-Techs. read more

Bryan installed a four camera system and did a fantastic job. He crawled in my attic space, was careful about where he installed the cameras and walked me through the operation after. When I had a question, he not only responded quickly, he made the effort to stop by in person to explain my issue. I had quotes from two different companies (one didn't show up) and he beat them all. I would recommend Pro-Techs Security to anyone. Great Job, Bryan! read more

It was a pleasure working with Brian and his team, from the first phone call onward. The salesperson answered my many questions, put my mind at ease about the holes in the building for the conduit. He was very detailed and came to the property multiple times before giving me a proposal. Brian and his team showed up on time, in fact early, and worked very efficiently, were extremely clean and cleaned up after themselves, even had a cleaning station, and wore masks, which I appreciate during this period. After the very timely install, I noticed the security cameras were very clear, turns out he upgraded all my cameras! Extremely efficient, very polite, customer service is very responsive, just about the best experience I've had with a vendor, ever! Thank you, Brian! read more

Pro-Techs did an amazing job at my house. 8-camera system install that was done in a day and a half. Very clean install! I can see HD quality live and recorded video with no latency, unlike some wifi-based cameras. Absolutely recommended! read more

While researching for a security system, I called a few different companies. All but, Pro-Tech were unprofessional and expensive for a similar type of system. Brian took his time to understand our needs, sent us a quote and system information and didn't hound us to close the sale. When we scheduled an in-home consultation, he arrived on time and was very respectful throughout the process. My husband had additional questions and he patiently explained everything. We knew Pro-Tech would be hired when we were ready. Day of installation, Brian set up everything without any disruptions and cleaned up afterwards. He's also been available when we had questions or needed assistance with our unit, months after the install. Great customer service before, during and afterwards. read more

We were looking for a surveillance system and found Pro-Techs on both Yelp and Home Advisor. Our first call to Brian was great. We reached him without having to leave a voice message. Brian spent an hour on the phone educating us on the different systems out there, what to look for and suggestions on installation layout. We had so many questions but Brian was very patient to answer all of them and probably had to repeat his answers a few times. We typically would call and get one or two more estimates but based on our comfort level with Brian, we didn't feel the need to look anywhere else. Brian and his team arrived on-time on the day of the install and did not leave a mess behind. Brian took the time to explain how the setup would work on the desktop computer as well as getting the app on our mobile devices. Our surveillance system has been in for a week now and we are extremely happy with it. Thanks to Brian at Pro-Techs for making this so easy for us. We would highly recommend! read more

We used Pro Techs security twice. The first time was to install surveillance cameras and the second time was to install two flat screen tv's. We would have gone wirh him for our security system but we had already signed a contract with the vendor the builder offered. Unfortunately for us Brian's monthly price is much lower. Brian is on time, professional, organized, and neat. read more

I reached out to Brian at Pro-Techs security after researching several surveillance companies and reading all of the listed five star Yelp reviews which caught my attention. I have a large home in the South Bay and wanted to set up a surveillance system to monitor the property 24/7. Brian immediately called me back, promptly provided me with a written estimate, and set up an install date. Brian showed up on time and meticulously installed a DVR system, installed 16 cameras, and set up a few PTZ cameras for us. Brian did such a great job I called him back to install another PTZ camera for us. Brian was very courteous and did an exceptional job! I would highly recommend him to all of my family and friends. read more

Brian is a great guy who is very honest. I've been a customer for several years now and I've always recieved wonderful service. Any time I've had a question, he gets back to me right away. If your alarm trips, the monitoring service contacts you immediately and will alert the police immediately if you didn't trip your alarm yourself. The price is right for the service and peace of mind having a security system. I highly recommend! read more

I purchased a 6 camera surveillance system on-line but decided to look for help installing it. Brian definitely fit the bill. I got multiple quotes but what impressed me with Brian was his willingness to share information about the installation process and the things to consider. I could tell he definitely knew what he was talking about. His professionalism is top notch which also came through in the work he did installing the system. Definitely no short cuts, he walked me through the setup on my computer and cell phone, we walked each camera and dialed it in the way I wanted and he left the place just as clean as it was when he got there. The job was completed in one day and we couldn't be happier with his work (my husband was impressed, which is hard to do). I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional installation...we've already given two referrals. :-) Great Job, Brian! Many thanks!!! read more

We recently had a residential camera system installed by Pro-Techs Security. We had a lot of questions about the system and concerns about camera placement and aesthetics. He and Brayden showed up on time, took great care in their work, and delivered a high quality product/installation. They took the time to set up our smart phones and TV and ensured that we knew how the system worked. The quality of the video/stills from the cameras are stellar. I needed a surveillance system and found Pro-Techs after contacting several other contractors who failed to meet my standards for one reason or another. I meet with Brian from Pro-Techs Security. Guess what? He was right on time and was here when he said he would be. That is almost unheard of nowadays. Brian met my expectations and the price quoted for what I needed was very reasonable. Very good service as well. Tech support is outstanding and anytime I call for service, Brian is there for me. I would refer Pro-Tech Security and anyone that needs this type of service. read more

Brian at Pro-Techs Security installed our 9 camera home security system and we are very happy with it. We were extremely happy with the professional way he did the installation and the entire job. read more

Here's my story, about a two years ago people were stealing our mail out of our mail box. In some cases on our rural street they were taking the entire mailboxes and post! We are in rural Tracy/Banta/Durham Ferry Road Fair Oak Community. So we decided to contact Pro-Tech Security to install security cameras all around our home and property acreage. Bryan Jayne and his son did a fabulous job and as much hard wiring he had to do there was no mess in my home or property. Just about a week and a half ago the Tracy Police Dept. came to our home and said they noticed we had security cameras and explain to us that there was a heavy duty 350 truck stolen in from a development not to far from our street and they believed that the thieves put the truck in a court near our home where surrounded by large trees and no street lights between 10:00 pm - 6:00 am and if our cameras recorded. We let them in and they reviewed the cameras. I told them our neighbors installed cameras across the street n they are closer to the court where this crime was taking place and the Police officers said they already reviewed their cameras, but the clarity was so dull you couldn't make out the license plates or faces of the crime scene and same issue with my neighbor next door. Our Cameras picked up the license plate and their faces of the thieves. They found the stolen truck, they arrested the thieves and the Police Department thanked us for helping solving the crime. I love our Cameras and Thank Pro-Tech Security. Now, my work establishment had Pro-Tech Security install cameras too! Thank you Bryan! read more
