We were looking for hard wired security cameras for our home. The off the shelf solar / battery solutions just wasn't doing the job. So I started reaching out to "security firms" - most of them wanted to provide a recurring monthly service monitoring or said they don't handle small jobs / residential. I found John and one other company to provide a bid. Personally I look at several factors when making a decision and price is usually at the bottom of my process. What are others saying about their business? How did they present themselves when we met? What impressions do I have in terms of knowledge, advice, etc during that visit. Will I have to worry about install / set up, etc. I look up their business license, do they carry insurance, etc. Obviously John won high marks. He made suggestions, he was extremely responsive - he's my first call if I have any problems. His install was absolutely professional. He hid everything in the attic, on the wall - nice and tight. He installed an LTS camera system, I looked up their reviews - their APP scored high marks. Day 1 we had a technical glitch - an LTS tech called me and remotely logged into the system and fixed the hiccup. We installed 5 cameras, they work beautifully. I can zoom in, footage is stored, I can see all the way down the street, everything is in color I can see at night. John was great he was very responsive and helped answer many of my questions between different door intercom systems. I have a mutli-unit building that has three different systems and wanted one intercom system. We went with the Aiphone GT system, which I had in one unit and was happy as it is simple to use for the tenants and fairly priced. I have used Metro lock prior and they were not as responsive as John was. They even wanted charge me $250.00 to come out to get me an estimate even though they had done work in there before and they already knew what systems I had in place. They were not as helpful, so I went with John and I am glad I did. He seemed more understanding with my concerns and needs. He was very quick to get me an estimate and we had the system ordered and installed within a week. His prices were also within line and slightly lower than the others that I got estimates from. Everyone that showed up had a corporate cookie-cutter approach and we never felt comfortable paying any of these folks a substantial amount of money for a monitoring system. He installed our Wi-Fi access points a while ago and then was able to resolve a glitch, remotely, via gaining access to my computer. He guided me through installing some software (and then uninstalling it) so as to troubleshoot from afar. More recently, we got a new combined modem-router from Comcast, and we could not get our router to talk to the Wi-Fi access points, so John told my husband to unplug-plug in everything Internet in our basement and voila! For a very similar NVR hardwired POE camera system, I could buy it online for $500 with 4K (8 megapixel) quality or you can pay him 8x the price to install them. Thrilled with the level of service and attention to COVID precautions when installing a network in a new house. I found John via Yelp when keyword searching for CAT6 wiring installation. With work-from-home now a reality for tech workers, we needed fast, reliable cable installation. But the home we'd recently purchased is an old Victorian with plaster walls and a detached office; so it was bound to be tricky. John was prompt in his responses, very honest about the limitations of working with plaster, and was able to manage our expectations effectively. Excellent camera set installed by John and his crew. I contacted him in the morning and we did a job walk in the afternoon after my work hours, so he did really proactively provided an excellent customer service. Furthermore, I had to work on M-F, so he offered to installed the cameras on weekend. I had john installed 4 cameras around my house, 2 cameras at garage front, 1 camera at entry door and 1 camera at rear yard, so I had enough coverage around my house. ( I may add 2-3 extra cameras next year for more coverage). The cameras he provided were not the one you could purchase from Costco, Bestbuy or Frys because he only provided commercial grade cameras with 1 years labor and 3-years hardware warranty, so I believed he had confidence on the products he provided. In addition, the installation service was also professional , so you wouldn't worry about hanging cables because they were all installed with clips. I had john installed 3k cameras around my house which I had no issue to identify the license plate numbers during the day time, and the night vision was also great to identify objects. If you really want to have good quality surveillance cameras to guard your property, John would be the point of contact and I believe his price is fair with the quality service, and you should not compare his service with the service you can find form Craigslist because they are different. read more

Just wanted to add an update since I've had the system for 4.5 years now. 1) I've had to pass footage to police twice during that time and both times they've remarked on how clear the footage is. 2) John has remained very responsive over the years to any questions I've had with the system.
