Super excited to stop in after following them on social media for some time. Cute space now at Waverly place. Stopped in after the lunch rush and ordered the Chicken pesto to go. They have a grab and go section but were all out of items. Can't wait to check out their charcuterie boards. The sandwich was flavorful and I enjoyed the spring salad with the sweet vinaigrette. The coffee flight was fun! The flavors, Honey, Lavender, Mocha and Vanilla were all good, the Lavender was our favorite. The Malibu was very disappointing. there was no turkey on it, only turkey bacon. One tiny slice of tomato. I was going to bring it to the attention of the staff, but, they were too busy talking badly about another customer, so I figured I'd better eat it or take a chance on what I would get next. I'll definitely try it again but order something different. We were in a bit of a hurry today so I picked the fried chicken biscuit instead of smoked salmon and poached egg. They warned us when we ordered they were backed up and it would be 25+ minutes. The chicken breading had a great flavor, kind of like a dry rub for wings. But it was two pieces of thin, somewhat dry chicken and the taste of pure butter was present and overwhelming, probably from the biscuit. Not my jam but I'm sure a lot of people will like it. coffee was about the only thing good from this place. Tables dirty, took us over an hour to get an order of pancakes, they didnt know how to make change, pancakes were cold when they arrived. The server who works there brought us wrong food twice and told us it's what we ordered. Just terrible, if you wanna enjoy your time go elsewhere. read more

When the food is done right it is really good but it's inconsistent. Service has been hit or miss. Today I arrived at 8:45 for an online order. They open at 8 but there was nobody at the front. I want to love this place because the breakfast burritos are so good but I keep finding reasons not to. I truly hope they dial this place in because it could be great but as of now I'm not telling friends to go here. read more

Pineapple Sol is AMAZING!! If you haven't been yet, definitely add it to your radar. It's a great brunch spot, with great choices for dessert and a variety of entree selections. We tried the pancakes which look visually appeasing but also quite tasty. In addition, tried the chicken club sandwich. Overall this is a great restaurant with a dope atmosphere that includes indoor and outdoor seating. Not to mention, if you want a nice luxury picnic, don't look any further they will take care of all of your needs! This is one of my favorite new places in the triangle! read more

Pineapple Sol is a small breakfast/ lunch/ brunch restaurant and we were there Sunday at 1:00pm. It was hectic to say the least. There was a wait, but we didn't know who was ahead of us or who was behind us. Were customers taking tables before us that showed up after us? There was know way to tell. We had an elderly woman with us so we were quite conscious of getting her seated and we couldn't figure out the system. The staff couldn't either. Did you order once you got a table or did you order before you got a table? Anyway, I decided to get aggressive and stand in the middle of the entrance way to the seating area making sure that no one after us was getting tables. The moment a couple stood up, I ran over and sat at their dish riddled table and we all examined what they didn't eat. Their left over blueberry pancakes looked delicious so we decided to order some for ourselves as well. I got the avocado toast. The blueberry pancakes were delicious and the avocado toast was nothing to write home about. The cappuccinos were tasty. We had a nice time because it was a reunion with a friend I hadn't seen for a while. Unfortunately, there were two screaming babies on either side of the restaurant making it difficult to converse. We had to huddle into the center of the table and repeat ourselves often. I would go back during a less hectic time and give this restaurant another try. Also, today was a rainy and cold day, so the outdoor patio was not open. The chaos of indoors could have been alleviated by the additional outdoor tables. read more

I'd been wanting to check out this place but it's never open during the hours I am in this lovely Waverly Place shopping center 2X a week. I was very disappointed. The funfetti cupcakes have been refrigerated & are the smallest literally 2 bites if that of cake & all frosting that I've ever had & I go to allot of gourmet bakeries. Also, unfortunately I was charged the wrong price & said something about the price being too high & the person said it was tax so I asked for the receipt & could see they charged me for a more expensive cupcake than I'd actually chosen. So I had to get a refund the owner was on the phone & could hear me saying I was disappointed the cupcake had been refrigerated. I did eat it since clearly a refund wasn't forthcoming & it had already taken so long but I was very disenchanted. The signage & out door space is still cute but I'd be afraid to try much else here. read more

Pineapple Sol is such a find. The location is amazing with a small play area for children not too far off from the restaurant and various other stores and restaurants in the shopping area. My wife had the morning Tostados and the Iced Latte which were delicious. The loaded truffle fries came with an amazing sauce and was enough to share with 5 people. The fish tacos were fried to perfection and went well with the greens, sauce, and lime. The strawberry shortcake shot was also a great addition. We definitely will come back for more. read more

BLUF: Why come here when Shake Shack, Chicken Salad Chick, or Taziki, or even just Whole Foods?? A big old "meh" is all that comes to mind. Why? French fries. Pale, limp, and so under seasoned. Maybe more accurately, UNEVENLY and under seasoned, how that's even possible. They have this turkey wrap that is the saddest wrap I've ever encountered. You're better off going to Sheetz. Which after writing that line, I dropped the rating a star (it was generously at two (2)). Two slices of turkey? Something that is trying to be passed as bacon? Ratio was more wrap than filling. Friendly and fast staff. The area inside is a little small so sitting can be hard to find in the peak brunch hours, but they have plenty of outdoor sitting and comfy chairs as well. They only have a set number of the flight cups, so wait on these might vary depending when you go grab food, but when we went (peak brunch) they were speedy. They have a great selection of food and I had a hard time picking and ended up changing my order several times (thank you again to the wonderful staff for being so accommodating) ultimately decided on the ricotta pancakes and it was the best decision! Flights below are more than enough to fill you up as well. My favorite was the lavender chai. Only wish they had it in a bigger size haha. Can't wait to be back! read more

We waited an hour and a half for our below average food. I got the turkey wrap without a wrap(they were out of gluten free wraps), was basically salad with cheese cubes, turkey slices and ranch dressing. The waitresses were fine, but the chef took forever to prepare the food. They were out of most of their menu. One waitress walked over to Whole Foods and purchased milk and other items. Speciality coffee did not have much flavor, tasted like standard coffee. Plenty of fries though! read more

So, I was very excited to try this place because I'd seen a lot of good photos on instagram. I had seen the menu and I really wanted to try the coconut curry because I went there around noon. I ordered and paid. And just a minute later I got an apology that it was no longer available. I then ordered this breakfast tostada. It was not bad. My friend ordered the avo toast but seemed like wholly guacamole on A LOT OF BREAD. They apologized and changed the order but truly that's not the experience we hoped for. read more

There's a lot of things that the team at Pineapple Sol is doing RIGHT! the people working there are super friendly so the experience I had as soon as I had stepped in just made me felt welcomed. Since this is a new place I did not know what to get so I asked Alina (owner) and she helped me pick all the items my family would like and we absolutely loved everything. Came here for breakfast and was a little hard to find where in Waverly Place it was located so had to call. If you're going to check it out park on the bottom section. We got the Flight of Pancakes & the Breakfast Burrito, both of which were cooked, prepped, and presented very well. The lattes were a perfect temp and the palm tree stencil was a nice touch. Didn't have room for dessert but it sure did look good. Ambiance was nice and I liked the vibe in there. Service needs a slight touch of work but overall I had a great experience. I live in Raleigh but never mind making the trip to go to Pineapple Sol! The service is always great and the place is super cute. Everything I've tried, both food and drinks, have been delicious. I loved everything about this place! Starting with it being halal, so a family member could eat everything on the menu, great prices, so much variety, the setting was adorable, and the food was great. I got an eggs benedict style dish, my son got empanadas, husband got philly steak and my son got a chicken biscuit. The portions was good enough that we had leftovers. I wish there was more seating inside. There was seating outdoors but the weather was cold. Be sure to come early, this place is popular! I came with my husband and 2 sons and we loved it. Great food and decor/ambiance! The selection of breakfast and brunch items was varied and there's something for everyone. The drink choices were also very unique and fun. We shared a breakfast burrito and tostadas and indulged in the coffee flight. Both entrees were very flavorful yet not too salty, textures were good, and portions adequate. The coffee flight consisted of a rose latte, lavender chai, horchata latte, and hazelnut truffle. The rose latte was the winner but the other flavors were also very good. This was probably the equivalent of 2 cups of coffee/espresso. Definitely will be back to try out more of their food or drinks--apparently weekdays they have a pancake flight! Service was fine, no issues. This is a cafe and not a restaurant so it's the standard order at the register and grab your own water/cutlery. We got our food in a timely manner even though they were slammed with customers so pretty pleased overall. Location-wise, the cafe is in a beautiful shopping/restaurant area close to a playground. Seems great for both families and groups of friends. Lots of outdoor seating. Very clean inside, and the decor is cute with a lot of tropical/pineapple themes. Will certainly be back. My husband and I found Pineapple Sol on Instagram and were drooling over their desserts, so we knew we needed to have them cater our desserts for our wedding! We inquired and got a very quick response! We worked with Aleena, and she made it so incredibly easy for us! She was very responsive and accommodating, she sent over all of our options , including photos of each dessert, and allowed us to tweak what we wanted! we decided to go with a little cake for us to cut in to and then do a dessert grazing table for guests! The table was AMAZING both to look at and eat! Guests kept coming up to us all night saying how amazing the desserts were! It was everything we wanted and Aleena and her team at Pineapple Sol helped make our day so special! We will use them for every event in the future and cannot recommend them enough! read more

I was really excited to try this place, but was a bit disappointed. First, they didn't have the coffee flights second, the truffle chicken sandwich didn't have truffle. Not sure if it's suppose to or not, cause wasn't mention in the description when I took a second look after receiving my food. But if it's not suppose to the name Is very misleading. The restaurant is adorable and the plating is gorgeous. I got the pancakes and while they were pretty, they were dry and chalky. I had high high hopes of coming to eat here from seeing them on Instagram. Their social media team is great which led me to brunch, however, it was just "alright" at best. Here is a breakdown of everything: -Friend #1 ordered the avocado toast and it was on not even 2 full pieces of toast. 3 small triangle pieces. -Friend #2 ordered the pancakes which seemed to be the best plate out of all of us. -I ordered the sunny benny pictured below. It was good but not filling. The food was alright but since no sides are served with entrees we were left still hungry and went somewhere else to finish brunch. I NEVER leave reviews but.. I felt this one needed to be shared. I went in with my bestfriend who came to visit me from out of town and I saw this place on tiktok so decided to give it a try. We ordered our food, only two tables there because it's raining on a Thursday. We waited an hour for our food. The waiter claimed it's due to their printer not working in the back.. which I understand malfunctions but, my issue came from her ONLY telling the table next us about the issue and not even taking the time to tell my table about it. She brought us a coffee flight (which was amazing) and still did not mention a word to us. I ended up taking the empty plate of coffee flights to her & that's when she decided she'd tell us about it. Even then the table next to us (who got there after us) got their food before us. We kept being promised "your food will be out shortly" and still had been there for an hour waiting for our food when there was only two tables to be serviced. I stopped by Pineapple Sol this morning and loved everything I ordered. The mango matcha with oat milk was refreshing and perfectly balanced, and the hot matcha was just as good. I also tried the new breakfast burrito and the Poke Bowl, it was honestly yummy. The café itself has such a calm, beautiful vibe and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I think most of you get it, but the owner and management need to hear it: I never returned because they might be closed for training. The acai bowl was just as pictured and was amazing. The caramel latte was beautiful with a sensational taste. They had extremely fluffy and delicious taste with the powdered sugar, butter, and syrup. My friend and I shared the Peach Gorgonzola Salad, Voodoo Trout, Yellow Curry Pistachio Chicken and Coconut Cake. Gorgonzola is first cousin to blue cheese and not a very subtle flavor but the peach salad was beautifully presented, light, slightly tangy and perfectly balanced. The chicken had soba noodles and the trout had mahogany fire noodles. Both were absolutely delicious and I usually don't care for noodles much. The trout was perfectly cooked with one of the most complex and delicious sauces I've ever tasted. Thai basil, ginger, cumin, garlic, coconut, shellfish sauce, with shrimp, cilantro, snow peas and tomatoes. There was a tiny bit of heat (spice) that was absolute perfection in terms of balance. The coconut cake was a yellow cake with a white frosting. Comfort food texture without being heavy. There was a delicate drizzle of lemon or caramel on top...we couldn't tell but it was delicious and I'm glad we didn't skip desert. We did end up taking some leftovers home but ate a lot when we were there. The thing that surprised me the most was I was full but not stuffed. Somehow, the very hearty, earthy, food wasn't heavy. I've never been to France or Italy, but based on the way I've heard people describe the food there, Maxmillion's is most likely on par with that. I'm picky about every aspect of my food and I couldn't come up with even one tiny complaint.
