    Combination beef pho
    Raymond M.

The combination beef pho came loaded with a variety of meats, including rare USDA flap meat, flank, brisket, tendon, short rib, and meatballs. The broth had that signature northern style pho flavor. It was clean and lighter compared to sweeter southern broths. The side garnishes were fresh and crisp. The restaurant was clean. Plenty of parking, but can get packed depending on the time of day, and the parking spaces are tight.

We're treated with love and respect here and their chicken pho is our absolute favorite which is why we visit their Milpitas venue atleast once a week especially during the cold draft South Bay is experiencing. Their chicken thigh pho is delicious. The broth doesn't taste packaged even though it is and there is good flavor in the chicken thighs. The original noodles go classically with the chicken thigh broth and the addition of Thai basil and their secret house made chilli oil and chopped red chillis makes a world of difference. They do mess up our order sometimes like today for example, January 10th for lunch we ordered 2 large chicken thigh pho and we got the chicken breast pho and my pho was lukewarm. I expect my pho to be hot temperature wise otherwise there is no use. I always give them the benefit of the doubt but they do mess up quite a bit when they are busy. They should figure out this situation. Today they brought out two small bowls the thigh pho on the side to mix with the lukewarm pho. I had to send the lukewarm one back coz I cannot eat cold pho. The pho in the small bowls tasted completely different from what was in my main bowl earlier. This is disappointing. This is the second time something like this has happened. We visit quite often thanks to the proximity of this location to our home. Most of their menu items have a lot of beef so we stick to chicken. I have also tried their fried chicken which was nice but we always stick to chicken pho because it's low in calories, perfectly hot (most times) and filling. We sometimes order an extra bowl of pho to share if we're very hungry and it works! We'll keep coming back! We absolutely love this place!

Fantastic, hearty pho! Friendly and attentive service. The 1-lb Bone-In Short Rib Pho is THE BEST!

Pho Ha Noi in Milpitas really surprised me in the best way. The service was warm and quick from the moment I walked in -- the kind of place where they actually pay attention and make you feel taken care of without hovering. The spot is large and has a welcoming an open environment. The pho itself was exactly what I want on a cold day: rich broth, clean flavors, and generous portions of meat that didn't feel skimpy or overcooked. You can tell they take pride in the broth because it has that depth you only get when someone's doing it right. The fresh noodles were perfect, and the herbs were fresh. Definitely an easy 5 stars from me.

Run to Pho Ha Noi Their 9 year anniversary special noodles are here and only $13.45-$14.45, till end of the year, dine-in only. - Short Rib Pho - Rare USDA Choice Flap Meat and Short Rib Pho - Short Rib Beef Stew with Rice Noodles - Shrimp and Pork Rib Rice Noodle Soup All week at Milpitas and Fremont. Service was quick and everything hit the spot. The Rare Flap Meat and Boneless Short Rib Pho had that rich broth that keeps you sipping. The Shrimp and Pork Rib Rice Noodle Soup was super comforting with tender ribs, shrimp and springy noodles. My favorite normally is also the Bun Bo Hue with a giant short rib that fell apart so easily. Get your next pho here!

Finally got to try pho ha noi after living in the Bay for way too long. Perfect pho for a cold rainy day! The service was great, the food was so good and great portions. I got the short rib and flap meat combo. The fresh noodles were great and the beef was very tender. The broth had a ton of flavor, probably one of my favorite pho broths. Definitely will be back! Maybe next time I'll try the 1lb bone! Also got the fried spring rolls, those were great too!

I love everything about this place and I can go on and on about my experience here, but unless you try it for yourself, you won't understand how good it really is. Let's just say, It's truly my favorite place to dine in fremont/milpitas area. I highly recommend this place.

Easily one of the best pho spots in the east bay. They have nice ambiance, very friendly service, food is good/lots of variety, and prices are decent. Another highlight of the pho spot is really fresh chili and delish chili paste which my fam always uses with our meat. Big rib meat pho: (5/5) they offer their fresh noodles or vermicelli. So much tender meat and the soup is nicely balanced Bo Kho: (5/5): lots of short rib, stew had a nice consistency and not too watery. Get it with the baguette it comes out fresh- crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. So comforting I would get it again Shout out to our waitress Thu for providing attentive service to us. We will be back!

The service has been great the last several trips here to Pho Ha Noi and they have had chicken breast and fresh noodle every single time! The ambiance is always great and I love the decor from pictures to the fake plants, along with seeing happy people all around eating and enjoying this great place. The service was fantastic and we ordered our usual, which is a large chicken breast pho and the special roll dish! 10/10 recommend this place and shout-out to Danny, Nathan, Trang, Thuy for the hard work that you all put in!

Pho Hanoi is currently running a promo on 4 noodle soup as part of their 9th Year Anniversary celebration. I got the flap meat & short rib pho and short rib beef stew with rice noodles. Both of them was hitting on a cold day. They didn't skimp on the meat and the meat in both noodles was super tender. The beef stew soup was on the thicker side but it tasted very homey. This location is also huge and decor was very pretty. The staff was nice and food came out quick.

We met up with some friends, and this was my first time dining in. Service: They are very friendly, attentive, and provided the best service in my opinion from a Vietnamese restaurant! They checked up on how everything was, refilled water a few times, etc. Food: Special Combination Beef Soup: USDA choice flap meat, well-done brisket, flank, tendon, meatball, and short ribs meat with the option of standard or fresh noodles. I went with the fresh noodles. Whole Steamed Chicken. Served with kimchi, and garlic sauce BUT no rice included. I missed my pic opportunity. My wife shared with the table and plenty of leftovers to take home. A great dinner with good food and great company!

P7. 1lb Short Rib Pho (Phở Sườn Bò)
    Janet C.

Love this place - best comfort food when it starts to get cold outside! Broth is packed with flavor and they are always consistent! The only thing that changed this time is the menu - but not by much. I was still able to order the 1lb Short Rib Pho (Phở Sườn Bò) (bone in, btw) and it was delish! Place is big and clean - the only downfall is when they are busy... you may need to be patient. Otherwise, if you know what you want and you are good with what you got... it's a great place. Other dishes I've ordered in the past that are on my go to list: pork egg rolls, spring rolls, rare steak well done pho Would I go back - yes, always!

Had to check out this local spot after finding out they had opened! Went for dinner service and I have to say that this spot knocked it out of the park with host and service smiling ear to ear helping with fast service and questions. Their take on Northern style Vietnamese pho is unique and nails a complex yummy and tangy broth that really doesn't need the extra sauce which is rare. Piping hot pho to help warm the stomach which is contrary to what a lot of past reviews complained about. This spot is a new favorite in town and I feel so happy with the food and services that they are a good competitor for other spots here in Milpitas. Dining space here is nice and spacious with nostalgic tunes, and I hope they are here to stay for a long time because I will frequent here more often.

We were seated near the kitchen so we were able to look in and see BTS. The restaurant is very spacious, clean and bright with a modern design. There are booth tables against wall and tables in the middle of the restaurant. A QR code is is availble at the table for you to view menu and order. I actually like this better as I don't feel rush to order and gives me the chance to look through the menu without feeling rush to order. Iced water was brought out instantly. We ordered the following: 1. Lamb skewer, spicy: you can smell the intensity of the spice when the dish was brought out from the chili powder. The meat is moist and grilled well w/ a nice crisp. There is no gamey smell. I took a first bite but the chili powder slightly burned my gums. Had to ask Hubby to shake some of the chili poweder off the skewers for me. Its a messy dish but very tasty. 2. Spicy beef soup w/ wide noodles: Noodles are HUGE! About 1.5 inches wide and forever long. I had to use the scissors to cut it up. Noodles are good. Chewey texture just as I like it. Comes with a whole egg and beef. The broth has a nice spice to it and unlike other spicy noodle soup I've tried, it does not taste oily or overwhelmed with spices esp Sze Chuan chilis. It had a good balace of savory and spiciness. 3. Wide noodles w/ braised chicken: This dish is delish but it's a BIG dish like a whole chicken was prepared! Can feed up to 4-5 people. It's the size of a medium pizza or even a Large. The thick sauce is very flavorful but not salty. It comes with potatoes, carrots, onions, green bell peppers, and dried whole chili. Its not spicy but may be for kids as we have a high spicy tolerance. Only thing about this plate I didn't like it there's bones. We ended 2 more meals with the leftover. The noodles are hand pulled in house as we sat by the kitchen and saw the kitchen staff making it. Food comes out pretty quick and service is very good. The staff are very attentive and met our needs promptly. We definitely will return to try other plates as the menu is pretty big.

I remember this place used to be Chef Chengdu, but recently closed down and rebranded to become Super Potato. That's how much they have. I got the beef tripe with Chinese broccoli and rice, and while I had wished they included more Chinese broccoli, the sauce of the beef tripe was SO pungent and aromatic that I was able to sauce up my rice and enhance the flavor of my plain white rice. - The hospitality of this place was quite well - the waitresses are very attentive to each detail. The included piece of chashu is well-seasoned, fall apart tender and had a good balance of lean to fatty meat. The noodles are cooked to perfection and have a really nice chew to them. There is just the right amount of sauce in the dish, and the raw egg yolk adds a wonderful richness that coats each strand of noodle when mixed. Included with your mazesoba is a small side of vinegar. I would definitely recommend trying out the mixed mazesoba on its own -- without the vinegar, and adding in the vinegar about half-way in in order to try out a completely different flavor profile of the noodles. The acidity of the vinegar cuts through the richness and keeps you coming back for bite after bite. If you've never tried mazesoba before, I can't recommend it enough at Taishoken.
