Noodles come in big portions and you can customize how thin or thick you want your noodles. I got the Braised Pork Belly Noodle and it was very delicious and comforting. I love how they gave plenty of meat and the soup on the side is a good palette cleanser. You can self-order using the QR code and service was efficient

Came here around 12pm. Place is spacious, plenty seating, quick service, everything was made fresh and hand pulled. My friends and I got so full. Noodles were well-cooked. Food: - Braised Beef Soup Noodles - savory, strong beef flavor, medium thin noodles - Seafood Noodle Soup - good amount of seafood but sizes were small, got the wide flat noodles - Braised Pork Belly Soup - savory - Shrimp Dumplings - soft, tasty - Egg Yolk Buns - three pc, looked like little piggies, tasty

Pretty good with decent portions! Came here for dinner on a Friday with friends at 6pm and was seated right away. We did family style and it came out to $130 for 4 people and a baby. Dishes I'd get again: - Tofu + century egg - Vegetable chow mein - Pig ear - Scallion pancake Will be back to try more dishes! Menu is through a QR code.

About a month ago, hubby and I came here for an early lunch on a Sunday. We came in time before noon as the restaurnt became quite busy after. We were seated near the kitchen so we were able to look in and see BTS. The restaurant is very spacious, clean and bright with a modern design. There are booth tables against wall and tables in the middle of the restaurant. A QR code is is availble at the table for you to view menu and order. I actually like this better as I don't feel rush to order and gives me the chance to look through the menu without feeling rush to order. Iced water was brought out instantly. We ordered the following: 1. Lamb skewer, spicy: you can smell the intensity of the spice when the dish was brought out from the chili powder. The meat is moist and grilled well w/ a nice crisp. There is no gamey smell. I took a first bite but the chili powder slightly burned my gums. Had to ask Hubby to shake some of the chili poweder off the skewers for me. Its a messy dish but very tasty. 2. Spicy beef soup w/ wide noodles: Noodles are HUGE! About 1.5 inches wide and forever long. I had to use the scissors to cut it up. Noodles are good. Chewey texture just as I like it. Comes with a whole egg and beef. The broth has a nice spice to it and unlike other spicy noodle soup I've tried, it does not taste oily or overwhelmed with spices esp Sze Chuan chilis. It had a good balace of savory and spiciness. 3. Wide noodles w/ braised chicken: This dish is delish but it's a BIG dish like a whole chicken was prepared! Can feed up to 4-5 people. It's the size of a medium pizza or even a Large. The thick sauce is very flavorful but not salty. It comes with potatoes, carrots, onions, green bell peppers, and dried whole chili. Its not spicy but may be for kids as we have a high spicy tolerance. Only thing about this plate I didn't like it there's bones. We ended 2 more meals with the leftover. The noodles are hand pulled in house as we sat by the kitchen and saw the kitchen staff making it. Food comes out pretty quick and service is very good. The staff are very attentive and met our needs promptly. We definitely will return to try other plates as the menu is pretty big.

Food was really good! Good amount of spice and the sauces on the table were great. Would come back again to try the other dishes

Scrumptious hand pulled noodles & authentic! The beef noodle soup (bone in) was our favorite. noodles were chewy and thick which we prefer. The broth did have a very pronounced sour taste to it that wasnt amazing but still soup was hearty. The other dish was too saucy and salty -- didn't love that one but it was still devoured.

11/09/25 overall 2.5/5. We came at opening and were seated immediately. I was reminded recently by my Yelp sista that Highland's noodle was also in Milpitas. We happened to be visiting in the area for the weekend and remembered how yummy the soft opening in Roseville was that we wanted to try this initial location and compare thinking it would be better! We were definitely surprised with so many more options vs Roseville and ordered quite a bit of food to try. We started with a few appetizers to build up to our noodles. They have lamb sticks and chicken sticks at this location and we didn't recall it at the other. We ordered (2) chicken sticks at 4.99/each and kids liked it. We ordered Crab Rangoon to try. My SIL said it tasted as expected. We recall not liking the wonton in chili at the other location due to the peanut flavor profile so chose to order the dumplings with hot chili sauce at this location. The dumplings weren't that great here either and it came out in a chili oil "soup" w/bok choy. It was lacking serious flavor. We chose the shrimp, pork and chive and it didn't taste anything like it was supposed to. On to our noodle orders. My youngest ordered Dan Dan Noodles w/flat noodles since he enjoyed my bowl in Roseville. This one came out with more soup and was lacking flavor. The noodles came out looking like wide noodles. Oldest son ordered Spicy spare rib noodles and it came with a bowl of coup on the side. He ordered wide flat noodles and his was probably the best bowl on the table but still not comparable to Roseville. Husband ordered braised beef noodle with flat noodles. Flat noodles came out the same as my oldest with wide flat noodles. I was at a loss on what to order between beef and tomato or seafood noodles and went with Spicy seafood as I don't recall it being offered at Roseville and also chose flat noodles. The soup had a seafood base but I was overwhelmed with how much noodle they gave in the bowl. My bowl looked absolutely nothing like the advertisement on the menu. (See pics). This was really disappointing as my bowl looked like a mix of baby size seafood cut up with imitation seafood vs full shrimp and bigger seafood medley as advertised. We all felt like wide flat and flat noodles were all the same size like they had an overage of wide cut noodles in the back left over. Noodles tasted like it was sitting out clumped together vs freshly made that morning. Possibly our fault for coming at opening but we did the same in Roseville and the noodles were really good! We sadly would not come back to this location and will continue to go to the Roseville location. Ample parking as it's in the Asian shopping plaza right off Dixon and Milpitas Blvd. Service was not attentive. We needed more napkins but dealt with the one given per person.

I came here with my family on a weekend evening for dinner, and we had a great experience! We were seated right away, and there is a QR code to place your order. We got an assortment of items, and they all came out relatively quick. The food was good! Each person had their own favorite dish. My personal favorite was the tomato egg noodles. I would skip out on their non-noodle dishes, to be honest. But everything else is fair game. I love how customizable it is, you can pick the noodle shape to your liking. I would come back to try more items!

Pork belly noodles, pig ear, & shredded potato
    Jennifer Q.

We tried Highland Noodles right when they opened with a group of three, and it ended up being such a pleasant surprise. There was plenty of seating, the space was super clean, the staff was nice and welcoming, and parking was really easy -- always a plus. Since it was our first visit, we didn't really know what to expect, but we loved everything we ordered. We got the pork belly noodles, the pig ear, and the cold shredded potato. The noodles were super bouncy, the broth was flavorful without being too heavy, and the pork belly had just the right bite. Both cold appetizers were great as well, refreshing, well seasoned, and nicely balanced. This is one of those places my husband and I still think about every now and then when we're back home, which says a lot. We'll definitely be back to try more dishes next time we're in the area!

    Braised Beef Soup Noodles
    Quynh T.

I tried out the braised beef soup noodle and it was pretty good. The soup had a strong beefy flavor, which I enjoy. I got the medium thin noodles and they were cooked well. They weren't too soft or hard. I would try out the thin noodles next time. The shrimp dumplings were very soft and had a good amount of filling inside them.

    Vivian U.

While the menu is a bit on the pricey side, the huge portions will leave you with leftovers for the next day. Ordered the Tomato Egg Noodles, Pork Belly on the side, Beef Noodle Soup, and Spicy Crawfish. Pork belly was very soft and tender with good flavor. Tomato egg noodles were a good comfort dish, but on the sweeter side.

    Bernadette G.

The food is so good! I had the pork belly soup with the medium flat noodles. I love the texture of the freshly made noodles, it had a nice snap to it. The broth was nice and flavorful with a generous amount of tender, delicious pork belly. The scallion pancakes were nice and crunchy and were not greasy. The restaurant is nice and clean. The music was a bit loud, but I think someone complained and it was turned down. Nice, friendly service. Definitely a nice place to go during these cold weather months!

Ordered the beef noodle soup with medium firm noodles. Very sad that Ox 9 down the street has closed, as this is the next best place closest to me for hand-pull noodle soup. Not much to say about this place other than great portion sizes. Otherwise the soup is a bit oily and bland for my taste.

I remember this place used to be Chef Chengdu, but recently closed down and rebranded to become Super Potato. Here's my take and my experience on this place, as a first timer thus far: - The food was honestly out of this world, and when I say the portions are BIG - they were actually enough to cover the container (and even more). That's how much they have. I got the beef tripe with Chinese broccoli and rice, and while I had wished they included more Chinese broccoli, the sauce of the beef tripe was SO pungent and aromatic that I was able to sauce up my rice and enhance the flavor of my plain white rice. - The hospitality of this place was quite well - the waitresses are very attentive to each detail. Our requests were met conveniently without any hesitation. Ambience was also pretty well maintained. I'm definitely gonna come back and have more!! A budget friendly place forsure :)

The concept might be simple but the possibilities are endless! I went absolutely overboard with my proteins (both beef and lamb), enoki mushroom, napa cabbage, tripe, baby corn, fish balls filled with roe and tofu skin. I saw that they had tofu mochi too and it was one of the best new things I decided to give a try. The bone broth was rich, flavorful and had that perfect mala kick with the numbing spice. I got mild flavor so it was not the kind of spicy that I could not tolerate. Each topping also soaked up all the flavorful broth. My friend got the medium spicy bone broth and that was packed a punch! I love how all the ingredients are fresh and fully restocked. The staff is very efficient. On the positive side, they do offer a large variety of ingredients to choose from. When my bowl was served, I realized it wasn't the one I had ordered. They had accidentally switched my bowl with another customer's. Later, while eating, I came across some of the marinated cilantro beef, which looked raw. I asked the server if it could be cooked a bit longer, but she explained that it was supposed to be pink. I tried a small piece, but the texture was still very tender, which made me uncomfortable. It also didn't have the texture of what I expected from beef. My cousin also had an issue with her bowl. The lotus root slices were cut fairly thick, so after cooking, it was still undercooked and crunchy. Overall, it was a disappointing experience due to the cleanliness concerns, the order mix-up, and the food quality. There are plenty of ingredient options, but I don't see myself returning.

The Chinese sausage pieces sprinkled throughout added extra flavor too. The bowl is deep so there seemed to be roughly 5 cups of rice. Unfortunately the laksa shrimp fried rice was disappointing in comparison. It didn't have much flavor overall - better than plain rice but definitely needed more seasoning. The menu lists homemade laksa sauce as an ingredient but we didn't taste that, and the dish wasn't spicy at all either despite the 1 chili pepper rating. But it looked just like the menu picture so maybe the description is wrong. Fried chicken with tom yum sauce came with 6 pieces. Very juicy. We also enjoyed the herbal roasted prime steak with sausage rice. The delicious rice had the taste of fish sauce. I came here on a Friday evening with my friend to grab dinner around 6:00 PM. The wait was around an hour, so be very prepared if you're coming during the dinner rush. This spot is located where the majority of the Asian restaurants are in Milpitas, so it's safe to say the parking can get a bit hectic and intense. The interior of the place is very bright, modern, and clean. There is a lot of seating for a small space, but the reason they are so busy has a lot to do with the number of people wanting to check this spot out. When you sit down, you scan their virtual menu via QR code and order there instead of through a server. You have the choice to order on one phone as a group or separately. Between my friend and me, we ordered a beef mint salad, fried tofu, confit mushrooms, and truffle mushroom rice. I will say that when we first got the fried tofu and confit mushrooms, we were quite surprised by the small portions compared to the price. That said, they were delicious, but skippable if you're trying to find the best bang for your buck. What I absolutely would recommend is their truffle mushroom fried rice. This might have been my best bite this month. It was so savory, the mushrooms hit perfectly, and the coating of butter on the rice was supreme. It was $28 for a bowl, but it was a good value to split between two people. Overall, this place had great, fast service (our food came out in under 10 minutes), a nice ambiance, and fresh, flavorful food.

Each one of them are slightly unique, and they're all really good! If the high ratings weren't a accurate indicator, then the packed venues are definitely a conformation. Henan Noodle isn't the biggest venue, it's actually on the smaller side; small mom & pop operation. The place is charming, clean and inviting with a minimalist decor. The restaurant is located in a small plaza off N Milpitas Blvd. I forsee challenging parking during peak times; the lot is not that big either. The service was fine. Everything necessary was already laid out on the table, well organized and ready to dine in; bowls, chopsticks, cups, napkins, soup spoons and cold water. Scan the QR code on the table and place your order. Food came out in a timely manner. I'm not sure if lady running the place (at the time of our visit) speaks English; she gave us instructions in Chinese, I'm guessing Mandarin. Well balanced, not too salty, gamey or creamy. Just perfect! The pieces of fish were so tender, good amount of noodle and that pickled cabbage...just brilliant! We didn't feel the need to add anything. ~ Lamb Stew Noodle 羊肉烩面 - 4.5/5 Another banger! The broth on this one was a bit bland, while it tasted clean and healthy we thought it was lacking a bit of flavor. We added a bit of Chili oil and walah!!! Perfection... lol.
