This restaurant mainly feels like a sit-in and go, featuring self-serve kiosks, carts to place your used dishes, and your entrees being called out at the front when it's ready. If you want to minimize social interaction, this is the right place to be. Place looks fairly modern, and the tables have interesting amenities like charging ports for your phone and a magnetic phone stand if you ever want to watch a drama while eating. I got the dry mix beef noodles and my husband got the dry pork tossed noodles. Both of these were very good and saucy. The prices are about $15-17/bowl and decently sized. I appreciate that there are photos for each item on the menu. I saw someone post a "no tipping" sign for this store so I knew I had to come and support them! This is my first time here and I thought the spicy beef noodle soup was delicious. The broth had a nice meaty flavor and wasn't too spicy. I like my pickled cucumbers crunchy and these didn't have any sort of crunch to them so I would pass on them the next time I'm back. They did mess up on our noodle choice -- we ordered wide noodles and they gave us the default noodles, but didn't want them to waste the food if we asked for the correct noodles so we didn't say anything. Though, I'm happy with the standard noodles. They were perfectly QQ and probably one of the best noodle textures I've had in a long time. Walked in and they have self serve kiosks where you can order in English or Chinese. Once you order you just find a table- there are lots of seating on both sides of the restaurant. Then they will call the number on your receipt once the food is ready. I ended up getting both the spicy beef noodle with wide noodles and the triple combo dry noodle with the regular sized noodles. The noodles in both were perfectly cooked and had a nice bite to them. They were very long and addicting to eat. The soup in the spicy beef bowl wasn't too spicy or oily which I liked. The triple combo had a mixture of carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, egg, chili oil, scallions, and some beef. Both dishes were very flavorful without feeling heavy. The noodles were definitely the stars of both dishes! I noticed they had a sign that said no tipping either which surprised me here in the Bay Area. We took our bowls/tray and placed them in the clean up are for them to take away. Price was pretty good too for the amount of food (Under $20 a bowl). Great flavor in the oil and beef. My favorite was the ragrant pork noodles. The image of it looks like it would be very spicy, but it actually isn't too spicy! It has a small kick, and the broth actually has some sour to it which cuts back the spice. It's a unique broth and I really enjoyed it. The noodles were also fresh and perfectly chewy. The cucumber salad was different than I'm used to. Pretty vinegar heavy, but the pickled flavor and acidity was very helpful in cutting back some of the oil and grease in the noodle dishes. We got the Tomato Egg with regular noodles and beef noodle soup with regular noodles. The tomato egg with regular noodles was underwhelming. Tomato and egg is one of my favorite childhood dishes, a dish that will always take me home from a bite. However, this bowl of noodles didn't hit the spot. The broth was really bland; it didn't even have that tomato egg soup flavor, but just chicken broth. The tomatoes were close to melted, and the eggs were okay. You can see the end of the noodles where it's been pinched. Long chewy noodle strings. I think the loops of noodle were actually one long noodle string, uncut. The Combo Noodle had both tomato egg and pork with chili oil. It had the spicy flavor from the chili oil and sourness from the fresh tomato. The seasoned pork added the salty flavor. Adding soy sauce enhance all the flavors. The Spilled Oil Noodle was good. Spicy enough to cause some tingling on your mouth but not burn your taste buds that you can't taste the flavor. Food came out within 10 minutes. Very clean dining room. They even have USB ports to charge your phone and a phone cradle. They also have a cold noodle dish and side dishes.
