老坛豆花酸菜鱼(大)Pot Tofu Pudding Sauerkraut Fish Soup (Large)

The food looks so good that I had to come in and give it a try. The choices though... are all too spicy for my family to try. Therefore, it's limited in flavor - everything is all numbing from the peppercorn. Would I try again? Maybe - each dishes are family style size - so I would only go if I can bring my family to share if they can withstand the numb (not spicy, just numbing)

New place we accidentally stopped at their soft opening all their dishes seemed authentic. The schezwan flavor was on point!

Love their pickled black fish soup -- spicy, sour, and absolutely perfect with a bowl of rice. The beef stir‑fry is incredibly tender, and the service is always warm and attentive. The ambiance is casual and relaxed. Plus, if you pay with cash, they even include a free beverage.

Unless your little ones can eat spicy, this might be a challenge for young families. Sichuan cooking is an acquired taste. I may not be the best reviewer for this. Food (3.5 stars) + Sichuan pepper fish soup (green) is on the sour side and has the numbing sensation effect that I think is an acquired taste. Their medium order looks huge but it's not that big since the bowl is not deep. Fish was a little fishy. + Chicken in chili oil is generous in portion for a side dish. It looks spicy but it's not as spicy as it looks. - Farmhouse boiling duck has really good flavors but the duck was too bony. It was difficult to eat because of the bones. It's very spicy in a good way. - Cucumbers has too much garlic. And this is coming from someone who loves garlic. Ambiance/Service (4 stars) + I was sweating a storm and I think they were just an earshot away for napkins and more water. + Our group of 6 was seated within 20 minutes although there were many tables for 2 or 4 that were open. + It's a small restaurant with quite a few to go orders I'll be back when my kids are able to spicy. I'll probably skip the duck next time unless the offer boneless option.

it's was just OK. but for the portion size i am giving this place four stars. both of us didn't finish our food and took leftovers home. Golden sour and spicy fish was too bland for me. not sour enough just spicy. beef noodle soup was also bland but beef was tender and noodles were chewy(free refills on noodles). they have a QR code on the table so you order it yourself, but service was fast and friendly. they will check up on you and refill your water constantly.

Wei's is my go-to and I wanted to compare the two. Wei's packaging feels more premium and the soup has more flavor and less oil. I also felt like Wei's gives a bit more food. On the other hand, Seven Fish is in a more convenient location, has easier parking, and is slightly cheaper. They also offer enoki, which is one of my favorites! Seven Fish's soup is more yellow and there is a layer of oil on top. It has red chilis and peppercorns, but it's barely spicy (which is a plus for me). The takeout was packed very thoughtfully, with an extra saran wrap on the outside to prevent leakage.

Seven Fish Cuisine may be my first experience with Chinese fish soups, but they certainly set the bar high because this place is excellent. We've already been back three times in the matter of a few weeks and if it was closer to our house that number may have been even higher. Their number one - biggest picture on the menu - dish is the Golden Sour and Spicy Fish Soup which is really unlike anything I've had before. It, along with quite a number of dishes on the menu, leans heavily into Sichuan peppercorn so be prepared to have a numb tongue but the overall flavor is excellent, balancing nicely the spice with the tang and the fish is cooked to perfection, free from bones as well which is always a plus. One of the things that really makes the soup a great dish is the customizability. There is a list of 8-10 potential add-ins including things like tofu, wood ear mushrooms, bean curd strips, etc. For a large soup you get to pick four add-ins for free, and for a small soup you get two. They obviously specialize in fish soups, but they have a number of other dishes including beef soups and other stir-fried dry dishes including pork chops and lemongrass chicken, both of which I can vouch for though be prepared to eat around a lot of bones, especially for the lemon pepper chicken which proved challenging given how small the pieces were cut. On top of being delicious, Seven Fish Cuisine is honestly quite a good deal. The large soups are huge and at under $30 a piece, quite reasonably priced for something that serves 2-3 people. We first came here with another family and we were both pleasantly surprised at the value when it came time to split the bill. Far from standing alone, according the signage on the wall Seven Fish is actually part of a multi-national chain of restaurants with over 500 locations in 200 cities around the world. I guess you don't get that big without doing something right and I can certainly see it because this place is great!

Unfortunately I don't remember what we ordered but it was decent! The pickled veggie fish was not too sour and it was served really hot. I burned my tongue eating it. The bean curd could be cooked for longer as it was a bit hard to chew. I think it needs to be soaked in water for a longer period of time. The beef was spicy but the flavor was good! I just wish it had more beef.

Seven Fish Cuisine is a "fairly new" place as it's been open for 11 months. First time for me trying this type of place. The interior is modern with simple decor of their dishes from their menu. No music playing, which is nice because you can carry on a conversation. One unisex restroom only. Fish Oil Soup (with Noodles). The dish didn't match the picture in the menu. Broth was temperture-hot and not spicy at all. It was flavorful. The fish, shrimp, and squid were delicately cooked to perfection. It was a good dish (3.5/5). The service is nice and friendly. Support your local business.

A family of three ordered two large portions of pickled Chinese cabbage fish. The taste is delicious. This store is not very big, but it is very comfortable. The service is very fast. The spiciness of dishes can be adjusted

Wasn't very busy when I went. In a plaza, so parking is not a problem! Service was quick! I ordered the large tomato soup with black fish. Large gets 2 free rice and 4 free toppings/sides to go in the soup! It was tasty and the portion was good for 2 people! I love my tomato soup so it can never go wrong! I also got the crispy coated chicken tender. It was nice and crispy and I really enjoyed the seasoning / flavoring that it comes with.

Love this place! The hospitality is great, and the waitresses are very friendly. The food was delicious, especially the sour and spicy fish and the beef noodle. The dishes came out extremely fast, and everything was very affordable.

Came here on a Sunday to try their sour and spicy fish pot. But the dish that ended up capturing my attention was the beef soup (the soup was the best part imo, pairs perfectly with the complimentary rice) All the dishes are so flavorful & delicious. The fish pot is mala though (just so you know bc i sure didn't lol). ps. one free drink per person if you pay with cash :)

The wagyu and chicken soup were both outstanding -- flavorful, hearty, and healthy. Here's the part that took it over the top for me: they had accidentally forgotten our fried tofu. I happened to be nearby this morning and stopped in, fully expecting them to ask for proof of purchase or be resistant. Instead, they just handed it to me. No questions. That's top-notch customer service. I'm now a promoter and will definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!

A no thrills Korean restaurant specializing in their black bean sauce rice/noodles. We ordered: Fried Dumplings - minced pork and vegetables dumplings deep fried to perfection. The omelette was done right, not dry, but the black bean jajang sauce was really what made the dish. Beef Jjamppong - noodle soup with beef slices and mixed vegetables. Comforting bowel of needles with thinly sliced beef and cabbage. Jajangmyeon - their signature noodles with black bean sauce. Very umami and the noodles were done just right. It is straightforward with a good mix of udon, rice dishes, small bites, and drinks, which I really appreciated. The food felt delicate but still had layers of flavor. Nothing was heavy or overdone. The rice was one of my favorite parts. It was crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly inside, which made it so satisfying. The chicken karaage was also really good. Crispy, tender, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you order karaage. The only thing I would probably skip next time is the mixed sake drinks. They are fruity and fun, but they tasted like they were made with sugary syrup. So if you do not want a sugar bomb or you are watching sugar calories, I would stay away from those. The inside has a cozy feel that reminded me a little of something you would find in Japan, but with a bit of an American touch. It felt clean, casual, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive without making anything feel rushed. Also we had our son so they brought share plate without us even asking for him. I loved that they considered that. For the amount of food, the quality, and the overall experience, the prices felt well worth it. We will definitely be going back. It is one of those places that feels easy to recommend because the food is good, the menu makes sense, the service is warm, and the whole experience just works. We arrived around 5:50 PM and it wasn't busy but maybe 30 min in it was crowded and by the time we left there was a wait so plan to get there earlier. This was on a Wednesday as well.

The Nam Vang came with sliced pork, ground pork, and one prawn in a clean, savory broth--light but flavorful. The filet mignon pho was a solid upgrade: tender beef, silky noodles, and a broth that leaned richer but still easy to sip. Noodles had a nice bounce in both bowls. I was craving a vermicelli bowl or bánh mì too, but heads up--they only serve pho and noodle soups here. No rice plates or sandwiches. Still, if you're in the mood for Vietnamese comfort food, this spot delivers fast and clean.

Thank you to my bro and his fam for treating us out to some Mother's Day noods!!!…read more My bro and his family are massive fans of Kali Noodles + Tea Bar. Even with them moving out to the East Bay, they make periodic drives just to enjoy what KN has to offer. I've had one dining experience here previously and was not impressed. This lead to not returning. Fast forward 2.5 years or so, here I was again. Our large party of 9 arrived at opening hours and the owners were so very welcoming. The restaurant was clean and the condiments were in tip top shape. Our family's order was massive. We started the meal with xiu mai [Vietnamese pork meat balls] and Chinese donut sticks. This then continued with mi do bien, filet mignon and beef ball pho, & a variety of nam vang noodle versions. The great thing about Kali Noodles are the multiple options of noodles they provide. There are a number of combinations that could be made with the 6 offerings. The food was surprisingly really good- so much better than what my first visit was. The bowls were presented neatly but plated in a way where the large chunks of lettuce made the bowls seem a lot more fuller that it really was. The noodle soups also consisted a lot more broth than noodles. Having said that, the egg noodles are really really good!! The restaurant cooks them perfectly- chewy with a slight bite that keeps you wanting more and more. Hu tieu dai was unfortunately too mushy in texture for my liking. 4 stars overall. Customer service from the owners were exceptional. They were attentive to each person's order and were so welcoming. The food was good but maximize the deliciousness by strictly going for the thin egg noodles. You will not be disappointed and this recommendation is coming from a person who typically steers clear of this. I'd happily return.
