Tofu

Solid Chinese food in the 99 Ranch complex. They have a variety of options to choose from. There were 6 of us and what I enjoyed were the shrimp wonton soup, fried tofu, combination fried rice, fried pork and cabbage dumplings. The wontons in spicy sauce was just ok, it had too much sauce, it almost looked like a soup. The fried Taiwanese pork chop was too thinly cut, I wish it was a little bit meatier. The chow fun lacked seasoning and the beef wrap was dry. I wish it came with hoisin sauce. It was really filling though and they only cut it into 4 pieces. We had to ask for scissors to cut each slice into half because it was just cut too big.

I've been here a few times, and the monthly specials never disappoint! Plus, the customer service here is always super friendly. This time around I ordered the salt and pepper filet and beef wrap - they are very generous with the portion sizes. Would definitely revisit to try the other dishes on the menu.

I tried this restaurant with a group of friends, and it was a great spot for sharing a meal together. The chicken wings were a standout and reminded me a lot of the famous wings from San Tung in San Francisco, which was a pleasant surprise. The dishes are served family-style, making it easy for everyone at the table to share and sample a variety of items. We enjoyed being able to try several different dishes rather than ordering individual meals. Ordering is done through a QR code, which made the process simple and convenient. The food is brought out as it's ready, so dishes arrive throughout the meal. There is plenty of parking available in the lot, which is always a plus. I also learned that they have several other locations around the Bay Area, making it easy to visit again. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed both the food and the casual dining setup.

Three things I love about Home Eat is how clean it is, how late it's open, and how yummy/affordable the food is. Their personal hotpots come with a lot of meat and other toppings. This time we tried the fungus salad and it was light and refreshing. Service is also great with the staff always checking in with you and getting your food super quickly. I would definitely recommend Home Eat!!

Decided to give this place another try, and we're so glad we did! Our first visit honestly missed the mark--the service wasn't great, and a couple of the dishes we ordered just weren't for us. Because of that, we were a little hesitant to come back, but we figured we'd give it one more shot. This time around, we stuck with dishes we thought we'd enjoy, and it made all the difference. We ordered the beef wrap, combination fried rice, salt and pepper chicken, and beef chow fun. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and well-prepared. The standout for us was the salt and pepper chicken, which was crispy and packed with flavor. The beef chow fun had great wok hei and tender slices of beef, while the combination fried rice was satisfying and loaded with ingredients. The beef wrap was also a solid choice and complemented the meal nicely. The service was also noticeably better this visit. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the overall experience much more enjoyable. Although there were quite a few people stopping in for takeout orders, the restaurant has plenty of seating for dine-in guests. The dining room felt spacious and comfortable, so it never felt crowded despite the steady flow of customers. We're really happy we decided to give this place a second chance. Sometimes all it takes is ordering the right dishes and having a better experience overall. We'll definitely be back and are looking forward to trying more of the menu next time!

This is my go to spot for quick and comforting Chinese food and flavors. The staff is so friendly and the service is great. You can pick up some ready made cold dishes in the front or there is plenty of seating for a nice meal. My favorites are the chicken livers, spicy pig ears, wood ear mushrooms, and spicy beef which you can just grab from the cabinet if you come at the right time!

Now this place was a pleasant surprise. Came here after work with some coworkers and I was running late but the food was pretty damn good. The chicken wins were awesome and tasty. The broccoli beef had that beefy oyster sauce flavor I love. The fried dumplings were nice and tasty with a strong scallion taste I like. The orange chick was phenomenal and it is not even a consideration for me generally. The low point was the Lo Mein and Egg drop soup...Both were bland and in the case of the Lo Mein it was dry as if it sat out for a few hours. The egg drop soup was lukewarm and flavorless. Still, the other dishes carried these and made up for these two bad dishes. Service was typical Chinese fair. Nothing friendly but not warm and "come back again" approach. They were attentive and for that I was grateful since I was 15 minutes late. Ambiance is modern and nice and for this it wins points. Not gaudy and old like most Chinese restaurants but modern and borderline chic. Great food depending on what you get. I would definitely come here again.

This was my very first time and I was thoroughly satisfied! We ordered 4 entrees which were shareable portions. The pricing was great! The restaurant itself was clean. My favorite dish was the salt and pepper wings. The wings were salty (obviously in the name haha) and so having a side of rice or chow mein made it the perfect combination. I also enjoyed the classic fried wing, you cannot go wrong with these! Honey walnut shrimps were also very tasty, sweet and salty, perfect amount of sauce coated on the shrimps. On the tables, they had a bin of chopsticks, forks, spoons, napkins, and extra plate which I thought was very useful. You don't have to wait or ask the waiters for utensils or to-go boxes because they are self-serve. This was convenient. The service was quick and easy. We were seated very shortly after arrival and they answered any questions we had. I will be coming back very soon!

It doesn't get more authentic than this! Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. We ordered the spicy boiled fish fillet, which has a mala flavor and comes with assorted veggies. I would highly recommend the tianjin eggplant with pork--it has a strong teriyaki sauce that is absolutely addicting with plain white rice. They also offer cold side dishes for a really affordable price at the front, cafeteria style. They have all the Chinese classics, like spicy beef tendon, woodear tofu skin, etc.

This was our first time at HomeEat and we had a great experience. The restaurant is very clean and has lots of tables, plus an additional dining room off to the side. When you walk in, there's a counter on the right displaying cold food items. We arrived around 11:30 on a weekday and were seated immediately. Once seated, a large carafe of water was brought to the table, which was a nice touch. The table was already set with forks, spoons, chopsticks, napkins, and plates, along with sriracha and soy sauce. Ordering is done through a QR code on the table. I would recommend looking at the menu online before you go because there are so many choices that it helps to have an idea of what you might want. Our Diet Coke arrived right away after ordering. Since we're considering ordering food from here for an upcoming birthday party, we decided to try a few dishes: the Combo Chow Mein, Beef Chow Fun, and Spring Eggrolls. All of our choices were tasty. The chow fun noodles were especially interesting--they were cut thinner than the standard wide noodles, and I really loved the texture. The portions are generous, and the eggrolls came with both sweet-and-sour and sweet-and-spicy sauces, which were delicious. We will definitely be back to try more dishes and would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a Chinese restaurant to try. Parking right near the restaurant is limited, but we were lucky to find a spot. There is plenty of additional parking nearby since it's located close to 99 Ranch.

It is in a large plaza area. I came on a Friday night and it was busy, but there were still tables available. You order via the QR code. We were served quickly and it was hot. Servers were very accommodating. We ordered fried rice, chow fun, salt and pepper fish, salt and pepper wings, Chinese broccoli, hot and sour soup, and orange chicken. That fed a group of 5 and there was leftovers. Portions are good quality. My favorite was the Chinese broccoli and the salt and pepper fish. They also gave us a complimentary cake! So yummy.

This was so delicious! We absolutely loved it.

Not yet, I believe. Was there the other day for dinner. I will let you know when I am in the area.

Some dishes are very spicy. Can we order the same kind of dish with mild spicy?

Sure. You can choose any spiciness

5 small tray is enough

This was a typical Cantonese style eatery where you would get together for family gatherings and/or to celebrate events. The decor had the usual elements that you would expect from such a place: crystal chandeliers, fish tanks, gold columns, and giant TV screens. We tried their 10-course banquet-style dinner that they were advertising for $488 (before tax) and I believe this special was only available on weekdays. Portion sizes were extremely generous, and they did not skimp on the ingredients either. The banquet courses included delicacies such as suckling pig, geoduck, whole fish, and lobster to name a few. This meal easily fed ten people, and we still had plenty of leftovers to take home. It was such a great value that towards the end of the evening the restaurant sold out of their banquet special. Overall, the food was pretty good...even though they did overcook the lobster. They have their own huge parking area, so it was super convenient. The dining area was very spacious. The service was casual and efficient. I went to dinner with no expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure how they move those carts around so quickly lol. Definitely part of the fun of the whole dim sum experience.

Unfortunately, the theory failed me this time. The service was great, which should have been a red flag for me. The guy at the window was really friendly and helpful--he had us laughing the whole time. The food came out within minutes, even though we ordered 3-4 à la carte things. That should have been the second red flag. We really wanted to like the food because of the service, but the food was greasy and super salty. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, chicken chow mein, house chow fun, and walnut prawns with egg rolls. Sweet and sour chicken was average--not good or bad. Chicken chow mein was in a pool of soy sauce, way too salty. House chow fun was supposed to have shrimp--it literally had two. This too was drenched in soy sauce. Lastly, the walnut prawns were not bad, but again, we can get those anywhere else--no need to come back here for them. Overall, probably will not be back for their food. It is really sad because we really enjoyed the service.

One Piece Lamian specializes in Chinese noodle dishes, all with an efficient QR code ordering…read moresystem and super quick service. We started with the One Piece Mixed Salad (tofu skin, vermicelli noodles, woodear mushrooms, carrots, celery, seaweed, and peanuts, all mixed in a savory, acidic, and spicy dressed ) and the Shredded Potato Salad, both of which made for nice appetizers. We also had the Cold Skin Noodles (Liangpi), a bowl of wide, chewy noodles mixed with a savory sauce and topped with tofu puffs, shredded cucumber , bean sprouts, and a creamy sesame sauce. Hailing from Xi'an, the Braised Pork Pita Burger was fatty pieces of pork braised in a savory sauce, served in a dry round of "pita," but even better was the Spicy Cumin Lamb Pita Burger, which contained a tantalizingly spicy, flavorful filling of tender spiced lamb. The Signature Beef Bone Noodle Soup came with noodles in a simple broth, topped with three bone-in beef ribs. The meat on the ribs was rather tough and sinewy, and the soup on the bland side, but the presentation of the dish was definitely impressive. Finally, the House Special Braised Dry Noodle was a bowl of noodles topped with a savory sauce with lots of different dried ingredients including tofu, s mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, and red bell peppers. For each noodle dish, you could select from a variety of noodles, but my favorite by far was the 2cm "General Wide" noodles, which had an amazing chewy texture. Overall, this was a great restaurant for authentic Northern Chinese noodle dishes and other eats. Everything came out from the kitchen in just minutes after we ordered. The tasty dishes came at a good value, and the service was super friendly too!

There seems to have some menu change since the last time we came. We ordered 2 dry noodles and a cold spicy pig ears appetizer. The pig ears were piled up with no fillers - something hard to find these days. You can select the type of noodles so I picked the widest while my husband picked the middle one. I love the el dente texture of the noodles giving it a bit of chew. My braised pork belly dry noodles was not dry... very watery which was not to my liking. I want my dry noodles with as little gravy as possible. The flavor was light despite all the gravy, but the veggies and one egg made it up. The house special dry noodles had just the right amount of gravy for taste but not enough ingredients. I was wondering why the restaurant is called One Piece... I guess the entire bowl of noodles is one piece noodle as it was hard to eat as all the noodles are tangled. No complaints here just need to be careful with the splashes on your shirt. Overall the food was good, service was decent as we were offered actual menu instead of only using QR code to order. The place was not small with plenty of table. A bit noise as with all Chinese restaurants.
