Pepper's Seafood Co, a restaurant named after a fisherman and friend, fully embraces its seaside town with a space that features exposed wood and nautical decor. It's a place that excels at great food, drinks, and camaraderie. The martini was a highlight. The cocktail glass was expertly chilled, and the beverage was vigorously shaken and then perfectly strained. It was finished with an even number of soft, salty olives. The attention to detail was impressive. The food was equally memorable. The staff was conscientious and knowledgeable, and I was thrilled to take advantage of the seafood specials. The fresh local oysters and amazingly seasoned calamari were particular standouts. Pepper Martin's legacy is evident in every aspect of the restaurant. I look forward to returning and making more memories with friends. Read more on IG: themartinibible

This was lovely. Informal outdoor dining, fresh seafood (Yey oysters) and a rich menu. Something for everyone. Service was solid. Would recommend.

Friendly and attentive server. Food was just ok in comparison to other restaurants in the area . See pics attached. Pastrami Reuben 7/10, blackened haddock sandwich 6/10. Very small piece of haddock.

First stop here in Ogunquit, so happy we went here! Service was great, food was amazing. Everything was fresh and tasted so good. They have booths, bar sitting, it was spacious. Great place. Will be back again

My husband and I were staying nearby during our roadtrip, the front desk at our hotel recommended Pepper's for lobster rolls. We arrived in the area late, and wanted a quick dinner stop. The vibes in the restaurant were fun, there was trivia going on and others having dinner as well. Service was great, our waitress was very friendly and checked up on us a couple times. Honestly, out of all the lobster spots we tried in Maine on our trip, I liked pepper's the best!

I visited Pepper's my first night in Ogunquit. Everything so great that I made sure to come back a second time before my trip was over! The wait staff was friendly and attentive. While waiting for food my party was checked in on multiple times for beverage refills. The food came out 10-15 minutes after ordering, both on the busy weekend night and the slower weekday night I dined here. I tried the perkins cove lobster roll as well the seasonal special, a havarti & bacon lobster grilled cheese. I have tried a number lobster rolls across the Northeast and the one from Pepper's may just be my favorite. The portion of lobster both times was generous and cooked to the perfect texture. The seafood rolls and sandwiches include a side of fries or chips as well as coleslaw, and altogether it made for a very filling meal. Pepper's has gluten-free buns available for their lobster rolls and my partner noted that it was good. As a starter, I ordered the New England clam chowder which was delicious. There was a nice amount of clams and the chowder was not too salty. The New England clam chowder at Pepper's is made gluten-free by default. For drinks, there is a full bar, cocktail list, and a number of beers on tap. Pepper's has their own draft beer, the champ lager, which was refreshingly light and worth a try. Overall, a fantastic and consistent experience. I will definitely be returning to Pepper's next time I visit Ogunquit.

Cranberry Chicken Walnut Wrap, with Fries and Coleslaw. Very good.

Fantastic Lunch!!! We had a wonderful meal here while staying in Ogunquit for several days. We started with Crabcakes that were excellent. Then, at the recommendation of our server, my husband had the Weekend Special of Lobster Fettuccine (sorry, not sure if this is the correct name of the dish, as it was on a separate menu only good through Sept 28th). It was phenomenal, with a spinach, garlic, butter sauce that they could bottle and sell, it was THAT good! I had the Cranberry Chicken Walnut Wrap, which was also good. But we couldn't get enough of the Lobster Fettuccine, which I was dipping my fries in...so, so good! Quick, friendly service. A choice of either indoor or patio seating. I'm not sure why this place wasn't PACKED, like other restaurants in town. We'd HIGHLY recommend it.

What a cool place to hang out at. We sat at the bar and had such amazing service..: it was a very rainy night and not many people were out. I ordered the crab quesadillas and was very surprised at how damn delicious they were. I enjoyed a few different pints of some local draft beer... the bartender let us try a few different ones. This place was great, they welcomed us I like locals. Can't wait to go back!

Hands down the best hot lobster roll we've had in maine. It was the OGT. Two other customers said the same thing. I got haddock basket too and it was fantastic. Highly recommend both. The kids meals come in cute boats! The baskets are metal in the shape of a boat. The drink was amazing too.

Clam Chowder

Had a good lunch at Peppers Seafood. It's located right in the heart of downtown Ogunquit, so it's a good place to stop while in the area. I started with a cup of clam chowder. It has that classic buttery taste which is my favorite type of chowder, so I really enjoyed this one. I then got their Lobster Roll, "Mount Aggie" style. What's cool about this place is you can order your lobster roll in different ways, which I've never seen before. The "Mount Aggie" style was mayo and hot butter--YUM. Fries were a perfect crisp and nice and hot. Lobster was good too, pretty good size and it came on a toasted roll. We ended with the Funny Bone cake which is made locally down the road at Bread & Roses Bakery. It's a chocolate cake layered with peanut butter cream. It was so good! Food took a little while to come out and it was a little pricey for a lunch but it was a good experience overall! They have only been open since summer 2023 so for being so new I was impressed!

Lunch haddock basket

Food was definitely fresh and good. However, I felt for the price we did not get what we paid for. I got a lunch haddock basket and the piece of fish was less than a deck of cards. I dug for a second piece. There was none. They filled the basket with fries which again were tasty but basically $17 for a small piece of fish and fries. The seafood chowder was $30 and good but to me way overpriced. The peppers calamari was not hot and got soggy with the peppers on top. The steamers were good but again not worth the price of $28 for roughly 20 clams. Not sure I'd go back. I get it's ogunquit but there are other place you get what you deserve for the money.

Came to my favorite place by the sea in Ogunquit. Stayed near the center, so when walking around for a place for lunch/dinner, saw this place. The menu had seafood, which I love , plus other things. Decided to come and so glad I did! First, the place is very cute and cozy. The ocean and outdoor theme is all around with plants and pictures of lobster. Very bright inside and friendly waitstaff. Found out this is a new restaurant. Very new in fact, just opened last July. We started with the clam chowder soup. It was very good! One of my favorites so far My daughter and I had to get the lobster roll, which is called Mount Aggie, which I looked up and found it's a real mountain in York. Well Mount Aggie was a huge hit! It was served both hot and cold style, with good portions of lobster. Some rolls are low on the lobster but not this one! It came with French fries and cold slaw. All very good! We had dessert and wow, it blew me away. It was called Funny bone cake, a chocolate and peanut butter cream filling with chocolate ganache coating. Really good!! I am so happy I came and will visit again when the come back to Ogunquit! You must try it when in town. You'll be glad you did.

Server was friendly and we were seated fast. Ordered a cold beer with crab quesadillas and clam strips. Clam strips needed more seasoning in the batter, not exceptional but good. the quesadillas were tasty. It's a little loud due to the crowds but good for a quick bite to eat.

Do you have fish and chips?

Hi, yes instead of being called fish and chips, on our menu it is our fried haddock. thanks

I had a mocktail drink at the Ogunquit location on Saturday and wanted to know if someone could tell me what was in it? It had basil and ginger and peach and ginger beer and something else. Thanks!

Like, I'd probably go out of my way just to come back. It is a super unassuming spot behind the building of a gift/craft store and ice cream shop. There is a bar seating and patio. It was not too crowded at 3ish in the afternoon on a Monday; we were greeted warmly and told to choose a table. They didn't have a high chair but they had booster seats. I got a glass of brut rosé and my husband got the Pilsner on draft. Both were refreshing and delicious! I got a half dozen oysters (followed by another half dozen afterward) of the fresh oysters of the day, and also learnt this place is on the Maine Oyster Trail. For good reason too--they were probably some of the best oysters I've ever had. Shucked perfectly, with delicious cocktail sauce, horseradish, lemon and mignonette. So good I had to get more. I had a burger for my main, with a gluten free bun and no cheese for dairy free. They also have gluten free fries that are made in a separate frier, bless! My husband got the lobster roll, cold style and said it was absolutely delicious--his first lobster roll and everything he hoped it would be. On top of the food and drinks being great, our server was an absolute gem. So kind, so helpful, he went above and beyond to take care of us and ensure my food was allergen safe. He even went out of his way to get milk for our toddler in a fun kids cup. I truly hope to make it back some day soon!

The wood fired wings are delicious and my daughter loves the Sweet Teriyaki Bowl with tofu, and a variety of vegetables including brussels sprouts & pea shoots. My favorite thing to order at Brickyard is the Blueberry Pizza, which a lovingly call "Pizza of the Gods". I've been ordering this pizza every time we visit, and I hope they never take it off the menu. Pizza of the Gods includes wild Maine Blueberries, lemon, rosemary, and shallots, and beautiful dollops of ricotta topping a white pizza base. All I can say is give it a try - it's heavenly! Service is always good here with food arriving quickly and the atmosphere is casual. I especially like the historic photos of Ogunquit that decorate the restaurant, and when the fireplace is burning, it is a treat to warm up near it. Lastly, the drinks. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but I can always find something on the menu that I'll enjoy. My husband is a beer drinker and he loves it here as well. Brickyard Hollow is one of our go to restaurants in Ogunquit. It's comfortable, reasonably priced, and the food is great!

First thing though, we got seated super close to other parties even though there were open tables. The group behind us spilled water, scooted back, and literally bumped into us without even a quick "sorry" and didn't move their chair back. We ordered the sweet chili wings, but they came out oily and kind of flat on flavor. The burger at our table was decent but definitely on the dry side. The pizza was saltier than we expected, so that missed too. On the bright side, the sweet potato fries was good, the drinks were solid, and the location is great. I think next time I'll just stick with the Portland spot.

First things first - parking is super easy, it's a free valet service (not obvious at first, as there is parking behind the restaurant, but you're greeted right away when you pull in). We walked through the bar area, over to the restaurant area (surprisingly the bar was quite full), and were able to choose a table by one of the two fireplaces. On the restaurant side, it feels very cozy, and homey, exactly where you want to spend a cold night, inside eating dinner. Our server was lovely, greeted us right away and provided menus. I started with a cosmo (they had flavored versions like strawberry, but I elected to go for the classic). For an appetizer, we started with the bacon wrapped scallops - the bacon was maple glazed, and wonderfully crispy, with the scallops cooked perfectly, and some micro-greens scattered on the plate - delicious. For entrees, my mom had the baked seafood stuffed haddock which came with a lobster sherry cream sauce, a massive pile of perfectly cooked green beans, and mashed potatoes (yum). I went with the duck special, which was absolutely delightful. It came with Brussels sprouts, and I subbed out the au gratin (I very strongly dislike sweet potatoes), for mashed potatoes. It was delicious. We were so full, we opted for dessert to go (chocolate cake), which was generously portioned, and decadently delicious. We really enjoyed the meal - this was a wonderful dinner to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday!

I chose the filet with a lobster tail, fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Everything was simply superb. Dress was casual and the place was clean. Not thinking they are accessible though as there were steps going in the two doors we used.
