Good view, good food, good vibes. They have indoor seating but their rooftop is the place to be. It overlooks water about a half mile in the distance (unfortunately there's also a large parking lot below) and trees all around. Their drinks are cute and we liked the blueberryade and blueberry lemon drop martini. The staff was kind and attentive; the owner gave a speech about how restaurants are built around their guests and he hopes we become regulars and then friends and he's just so grateful to us. Very nice find! Not crowded because they are known for their open air and patio and today was cloudy, cool and breezy. First, if you're reading this in real-time, end of September, and you're within driving distance...GO this weekend/week! The weather is going to get better and better which will make your lunch on the upper deck that much more spectacular. Now. Food. I had seen a review for the Salmon BLT, and I stopped wondering what I would order. Blackened salmon (or you could opt for simply grilled) was generous and perfectly seasoned and grilled. It came on a deliciously buttered and grilled roll, light and chewy and crunchy. So good, in fact, that after I had eaten the sandwich de-constructed style, I ate the entire roll. The bacon was plentiful but not the star, which was absolutely ok with me once I tasted the salmon! My husband had the fried chicken sandwich, and all I had time for was to take a picture before I dove in. Afterwards, I DID ask him how it was and he said that it was excellent. Next time I'll (try) to be more attentive. But probably not. I had an Absolute Citron and soda with a lemon and lime, and he ordered a Patio Bourbon that included Ginger Beer. What a place! Great rooftop restaurant with amazing food options and an even better view of the beach. 1/2 Block north of the famous intersection its easily the best place to eat!! However, I do not recommend the Bang Bang Shrimp, as you get 7 shrimp of various sizes in Bang Bang sauce for $14--which is more than $2 per shrimp. Don't get me wrong, it was good--but not $2-per-piece good. Also, the mac and cheese is super watery, so keep that in mind when ordering. I just got the check, and the lobster rolls are $35 for an average roll. Unless you're willing to spend the money, I don't recommend it. read more

Food was delicious! Cocktails were very good. Stopped in mid afternoon for late lunch/early dinner. Sat on the rooftop where there was plenty of room. We ordered the fried haddock sandwich and the fried chicken sandwich on brioche with a side a hot honey sauce. Both were cooked perfectly and delicious and served with a side of battered crispy fries. I ordered the blueberry lemonade cocktail. So refreshing! Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Owner was friendly and introduced himself to each table and gave a short "thank you" for coming talk in appreciation of the patronage. A very nice gesture that isn't seen hardly at all. We were only staying a couple of days in the area, but it was one of the best meals we had. We try to go to the area at least once a year, so I know we'll be back at the Patio! The Patio is a must see if you are in town. The Patio is a two story structure with a rooftop restaurant/bar. Admittedly, I have never been to the first floor restaurant. Great views of Ogunquit beach are a big reason to at least have a cocktail on the rooftop. Tony (the owner) and Aldo (one of Ogunquit best bartenders) add a personal touch to the experience. I am a local and have been to all of the establishments in Ogunquit and Cape Neddick and find that on a sunny day, the Patio is a place to be. Great cocktails, pizza, handhelds and of course the bang bang cauliflower will make your beer or cocktail taste even better. Tony, the owner operator, is a transplant from Massachusetts (like many of us). He is what makes Ogunquit so special. He is working it every day. As a matter of fact until a recent illness, his mom would bring folks from Main Street to the Patio. Tony is gracious always thanking his patrons for their business. Don't expect a gourmet meal. This is bar food but VERY GOOD bar food. In short, you should visit the Patio if you want to have a few cocktails, good bar food and a spectacular view of the Atlantic. read more

Went today for the first time. Will be going back. Fun location, sunny, with slight breeze made it really nice on the first floor. I had blackened salmon BLT with fries and a small side of BBQ sauce. Huge points for having BBQ for salmon...that's how I like it. Came on a small baguette. Very fresh. Perfectly prepared. Very tasty. Took 6 napkins, which is a high score. I really had no idea what to expect when I ordered it. Made some ground salmon on toast. Was overwhelmed when I saw it. Has to be in the top 5 of sandwiches I have ever had. The owner seated us after a 15 min wait. The service was very friendly and lots of check in. The ambiance was amazing near the beach open valance or window.
