    Doughy pizza from Cornerstone.
    Joe B.

We asked for our pizza to be crispy and the pizza was soft and doughy. It was like a pizza you would serve to kids. Definitely not an artisan crust.

    Receipt for proof it's real.

We waited an hour to be seated as a family of six with children, then waited another full hour for our food after ordering. Our order was simple: a salad, a pizza, and a side of meatballs. What made the experience especially frustrating was watching neighboring tables receive their salads within about 20 minutes while we continued to wait. The table next to us was served three refills of wine during that time. Our waitress repeatedly attended to nearby tables but did not check in with us, explain the delay, or offer an apology. Even after refilling our water, she said nothing about the status of our food. When we spoke with the manager, the response was simply, "We're busy." There was no apology, meaningful concern, or apparent effort to address the situation. Restaurants get busy, but two hours of waiting, visibly unequal attention, poor communication, and an unapologetic response from management made this a deeply disappointing experience. Interestingly, once we were finished, it did not take long at all for the waitress to clear the table. I would not recommend this restaurant to families with children, or to anyone who expects to be treated with the same care and consideration as the tables around them.

We love Cornerstone! You need to plan ahead, there will always be a wait. And the pizza can take a little long but it's worth it! We have been to Ogunquit three times and always prioritize eating here.

Pizza spot in downtown Ogunquit. Rustic vibes and simple menu. They offer mostly pizzas but there are some entrees as well. We started with a cesar salad. It was ok but I thought it would've been a bigger portion for the price. Croutons tasted good but were super hard and couldn't even be picked up with a fork. The pizza we ordered was the buffalo chicken pizza which was fantastic. All the ingredients tasted fresh and paired well with eachother, I especially enjoyed the onions. I was skeptical of ranch being drizzled on top but it was actually quite good. Pizza was also piping hot when it got to our table. It doesn't look huge but it's pretty big, we brought leftovers back. It's a cute spot as it's right on the corner of busy downtown Ogunquit and you can choose to sit outside when it's warm. One of the better pizza spots in Ogunquit.

This pizza was so good! The crust and cheese were so delicious. The service was also great. She was very friendly and polite. We sat inside in an area where they had a heating fan going which was perfect for a cold night

This was our view from a table in the bar area.

So we happen upon this pizza place, which was just great. It was two for one pizza night tonight so we ended up getting two huge, thin crust pizzas. The first was a stuffed potato pizza. It had mashed potatoes, chunks of bacon, a white creamer sauce, drizzled, and it was really really good. The melt of tastes were great. We sat in the bar area, and we could see the guys making pizza in the wood burning pizza oven. That was really cool. The second pizza we got, was the not so traditional margarita, pizza. Very thin crust, fresh, tomato slices, and buffalo mozzarella. Lots of basil also. Something about the roasted tomato slices were just really really tasty though I don't usually like that. Lastly, I didn't get the name of our waiter, he was a very nice guy with curly dark hair. Seemto be the only wait staff in the whole restaurant other than the bartender. But he did great. He was juggling many tables at once and didn't stop for a second , but we thought he was great.

Looking for a break from the seafood, my husband and I decided to try Cornerstone for dinner. Coming from CT and kind of being pizza snobs, we weren't sure how the pizza was going to compare, but we were impressed! Despite being rectangular shaped, the pepperoni pizza was delicious and cheesy. I also really enjoyed my lemon garlic chicken pasta, and the ambiance of the patio right in the heart of Ogunquit was great. All of the food came out quickly too.

Stopped in for a quick drink before dinner down the road. Surprised and how many draft beers they had. I went with their woodland pointer ipa. Great flavor full of body... one drink quickly became two lol. They have a lot of brick oven pizza options that looked and smelled so good.... Next time!

Great food and super staff! A bit pricey but worth it. Jason the bartender is a hoot and it is worth the trip to see him in action.

We grabbed a couple seats near the piano player after ordering drinks at the bar. I had the Lavender Lemon Drop and it was ice cold and delicious. We also tried the Death Drop Martini, which was just as good. It was made with Casamigos Mezcal, passionfruit liqueur purée, fresh lime, and a tajin rim. The female pianist was incredibly talented, the crowd was friendly, and the atmosphere made it easy to hang out for a while. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.

Calamari was crispy, but not very seasoned. Decent sweet potato fries. Server was attentive but zero personality. Dining space was nice, much quieter vibe than upstairs. Second floor is where the piano bar is, first come first served, and the line moved quickly. It was lively, a bit of a cluster. Piano player did a good job catering to Millennials to Boomers, even mashing up a bit between the Killers, Kings of Leon, and Blink 182, which was cool. But the bartender was a miss, very hasty - drinks were poorly mixed and he broke 2 glasses while we were seated at the bar, yikes!

What we ordered: -Cornbread: 3/5, great portion to share with the table and piping hot which I loved but wish it was moister and had more honey on top. -Caesar salad: 5/5, incredibly fresh, dressing was delicious and evenly spread among the whole salad, fresh anchovies on top were a nice touch -Crabcakes: 4.8/5, only comes with 2 but the cakes were very fresh and flavorful. The corn on top was very boring I wish they spiced it up a bit but it did not take away from the flavor of the cakes so I kept the score high. -Lobster Pappardelle: 5/5, one of my favorite meals we ate on vacation!! Generous lobster portion with perfectly cooked pappardelle in a very tasty sauce. I already miss it and wish I could eat it again. -Braised Short Rib: 3.8/5, beautiful presentation and everything tasted great but very small polenta/carrot portions and I wish the meat was more tender. It wasn't bad, it just didn't blow my socks off. -Espresso crème brûlée: 4.5/5, was the perfect birthday dessert for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it. Quality espresso flavor, wish it was a little crispier on top. Food was ~4/5 but our overall experience was 5/5. Our server, Pedro, was so friendly and helped us with dish recommendations. When I told him we were celebrating a birthday, he brought the crème brûlée out with a candle and two other staff members to sing to him which was so sweet. We will definitely come back here next time we're in town!

We took our small family to an early dinner at crooked pine. We made a reservation for 4:30 (one of…read morethe few times they had available on this rainy day). We sat at a table by the window on the first floor. We overheard that there is an upstairs bar, not sure if they also seat folks for dinner there. We were able to place an order right after getting settled. We enjoyed the Sun mocktail, charred beet salad, mac and cheese, fried codd sandwich, steak frites, and corn ravioli (without the pancetta). My spouse is gluten free and I am vegetarian so we are always looking for restaurants that can accommodate both. The charred beet salad was good but I think dressed a bit too heavily. I thought the corn ravioli and sun mocktail were both great. The kids (ages 1.5 and 5) liked the Mac and cheese and fried cod sandwich. They did not have any appropriate booster seats for the 1.5 year old so my spouse held him. My spouse loved the steak frites but I think wished had a few more "frites" given the amount of interest from the younger crowd. Our waiter was wonderful and also brought some orange slices from the bar for the kids. We were very grateful. We decided to go nearby for ice cream after dinner, but I heard there is a dessert menu.
