This is one of my favorite places to eat in Ogunquit and we go to Brickyard Hollow pretty much every time we visit. The wood fired wings are delicious and my daughter loves the Sweet Teriyaki Bowl with tofu, and a variety of vegetables including brussels sprouts & pea shoots. My favorite thing to order at Brickyard is the Blueberry Pizza, which a lovingly call "Pizza of the Gods". I've been ordering this pizza every time we visit, and I hope they never take it off the menu. Pizza of the Gods includes wild Maine Blueberries, lemon, rosemary, and shallots, and beautiful dollops of ricotta topping a white pizza base. All I can say is give it a try - it's heavenly! Service is always good here with food arriving quickly and the atmosphere is casual. I especially like the historic photos of Ogunquit that decorate the restaurant, and when the fireplace is burning, it is a treat to warm up near it. Lastly, the drinks. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but I can always find something on the menu that I'll enjoy. My husband is a beer drinker and he loves it here as well. This was my first time checking out this location, and honestly it was just okay. I've had BH in Portland before and loved it, so I figured this spot would hit the same. First thing though, we got seated super close to other parties even though there were open tables. The group behind us spilled water, scooted back, and literally bumped into us without even a quick "sorry" and didn't move their chair back. We ordered the sweet chili wings, but they came out oily and kind of flat on flavor. The burger at our table was decent but definitely on the dry side. The pizza was saltier than we expected, so that missed too. On the bright side, the sweet potato fries was good, the drinks were solid, and the location is great. I think next time I'll just stick with the Portland spot. read more

Yum! This place has some yummy food, that I had been dying to try! We came in on a cold slow Tuesday later afternoon around 3pm. There were about 3 people sitting at the bar, and a two top table in the dining room, and a mother with three children whom sat herself and had to be attended to. They had a beautiful fire place dead center, and a warm fire blazing. We were sat beside the fire and it was so warm and cozy, providing a wonderful ambiance and atmosphere. It took a minute for the host/ server/bar tender to come over, after seating us. Then it took a few minutes for our drinks (on the weaker side) to come, and another several minutes to get to order our food. I figured she just must have been busy, as she was the only one on at the time. However, as the place emptied out, the service didn't get quicker. In fact it almost got slower.. We started with an app, which was delicious and came with two homemade sides, that were also to die for. Their homemade ranch... omg, chefs kiss! I then got a spicy chicken sandwich with a homemade coleslaw and crispy fried onions! Along with a side of ranch! My sister got a regular fried chicken sandwich, and that was also very very good! We came in around 3 on a slow day, during the office season, so it was nice and easy. Its location in prime real-estate during the summer months, being in Ogunquit Maine. The scenery is nice, even being off of route one. They have a small parking lot for customers only, easy handicap accessible access, and extra parking in of Glenn street it seems. Everything about this visit was five star... except the service, and the weak drinks ! Not only was it quite slow for a slow day with little people, even as the only person on...they seemed almost annoyed that we showed up. Other than that, this place hit the spot! Delicious food! Stopped in for lunch on a day in Ogunquit, and really was not wowed. A bit of a mid experience, I ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup to start, which was the soup of the day. It was pretty good. I was with my mom and sister, and we all ordered cobb salads with fried chicken and maple dressing as well as beer cheese fries for the table. I would have loved if the beer cheese was a bit thicker (it was a bit more on the watery side). All three of the salads were missing the gorgonzola from the menu, and while our server was very nice, the service was extremely slow, and we ended up being there for over an hour longer than we had planned to be. The salads were also kind of skimpy, with a tiny piece of avocado and one egg sliced in half. It was very much something I would throw together with little to no effort in my kitchen. read more

Pretty mid experience here. Came in on summer evening around 630 and was seated right away which was great, and service to get water and the menus was fast. It didn't take too long to place our orders either. The food, unfortunately, was pretty mediocre. I got the teriyaki tofu bowl which was 70% rice and the veggies and tofu present were pretty greasy. My friend got the fried chicken sandwich recommended by the waitress and couldn't eat it, it was so dry and burnt tasting. She ended up ordering the spinach tomato goat cheese pizza instead which was fine, but nothing to write home about. Generally felt overpriced. I came here on a Saturday night before an event with a group of 4. I made reservations the day before, and had no problem. I really liked how the menu here was much more robust than a typical brewery's menu. There is something here for everyone. The food was also really great. I ordered a salmon power bowl. Really kind staff, they allow reservations from open table which is really helpful to avoid needing to wait. This is more like a restaurant that has a wide tap selection than a typical brewery. The food menu is extensive and the pizza was really good and served SO HOT. My only issue is that the pizza comes out at a different time than the other food. We were with a party of 6 so half the people's food came out a good 15 mins before our pizza and we told them not to wait, so by the time pizza came, half the table was already finished their meal. read more

Pleasantly surprised with quick service and a great lunch! When we showed up it wasn't too busy, but quickly filled up afterwards. Kind servers, delicious food. I ordered the BYO burger with loads of meat added (double bacon, double pulled pork, double pour belly) and it was absolutely delicious. I ended up getting a 2nd order, actually, because it was so good (see pic). Im on a animal-based diet at the moment which is why I didnt get a bun or other toppings or a side. This was our second time visiting this location. The bar/dining area in the main room is like an empty warehouse, there's really no comfortable ambiance. Off to the left are the restrooms, and off to the right of the main room is another dining area. The right side dining area has a bit more welcoming decor, compared to the main bar area. We were sat in the main dining area, because they weren't too busy. We ordered a margarita pizza and a garlic pizza to split between three of us. Both pizzas were good, with very thin crust, and we had no trouble finishing them. Each pizza cost $17.00. The waitress was friendly, and very attentive. I'm sure we'll be back again. read more

We've been here a couple times while in Ogunquit. The pizza is really good and the service is prompt and courteous. On a Saturday night in October, they apparently had come up short on waitstaff, so even though there were seats available, the host was mindful of not overloading the staff and causing long waits for customers after they were seated. He called for "reinforcements" and before we left there were two more waiters and people were being seated promptly. Each of the waitstaff was incredibly patient and friendly, even though the same couldn't be said for some of the patrons. What we remembered, other than the good food was how focused they were on providing a good experience for their customers. Definitely will be back. read more

We recently had lunch at Brickyard Hollow Brewing in Ogunquit, ME- It's a great spot right off of Route 1. Only a few years old, and plenty of space inside. The service was great- fast and super friendly. We tried the beer first- highly recommend the Send It DIPA. Their Stout was also very good. Their pizzas are phenomenal! Service was good considering only two ladies covering and busing the tables. The restrooms were dirty and not taken care of which gave the feeling of lack of cleanliness. My partner had the salad and added chicken he was very happy with it. I had a byo burger which I have had better but the fries were great. The pizza looked good and the couple next to us was very happy with it. Overall it was a good place with potential but management needs to step it up. I came here on a day trip to Maine and decided to hip up a brewery before heading back to New Hampshire. Since we were already in the area this spot popped up, so we came here. There was ample parking and the service was on point but the only reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because the beers were not good at all. I love sours and they had a raspberry one on tap and it wasn't sour at all. It was more bitter than anything and the Mexican ale wasn't good either. Brunswick BH is large, Freeport BH is quaint, Gray-New Gloucester BH is festive, Portland BH is pretentious. I think my review would have been much different if I didn't sit at the bar tonight. Whoever was working, the worst service I have ever received in my life. It was as if my husband and I didn't exist. After our drink orders I waited about 20mins before I had to flag her down as she was walking by to place our food orders. Then we get our food and have to wait again for her so we can get silverware. Then the cherry on top is that we asked for out check and box and wait about ten mins meanwhile she again is doing everything but that, we weren't in a hurry but that's a bit ridiculous especially since she brought another couple their check in that period and then the couple next to us asked for theirs and then brought it to them immediately, cashed them out and then finally brought ours over. The bar held maybe ten people and when we left there were only 6 of us/three couples. It's unfortunate because the food was decent and the place looked cute. read more

Ok, here's the deal: It's a nice building, and we had high hopes for this place. Seated by the waitress, who then came over to ask what we wanted to drink, which is great, and we told her two waters with no ice. Great job. Next, we ordered an appetizer of pretzels, which we heard were great. Unfortunately she pushed the wrong button, and we got the loaded bacon fries. No apology, but she took them back. Then all of our food came at once, again no apology. OK, she's young. Pretzels were excellent, so was the citrus IPA, which they split into two glasses. Nice. The mushroom garlic Gorgonzola pizza was salty, and very garlicky, but good. All the salads had cheese, so we tried to substitute and ended up with a very disappointing crabcake on top of a tasteless aging salad with no dressing. We were charged eight dollars extra for the salad, insane. Again, the waitress said she pushed the wrong button. No apology. The hall was rather empty, and the fireplace could have added a lot, but at least we got a window with a view, granted, on a rainy day. I don't feel like we got great service, or great food, rather a couple of tasty items and a couple of average or worse items. I guess they don't need to do much as people are too drunk to care or even lock the bathroom door, and tourists never return anyway. All in all, we had a decent meal, but I would not rush back. There is a lot that I appreciate when it comes Brickyard Hollow. For starters, there is FREE PARKING, which is an unheard of perk in Ogunquit. There is ample parking for patrons to park when coming to the establishment, which makes the restaurant all-the-more enjoyable when you don't need to circle around and pay top dollar just to park your car. Along with their free parking, the food at Brickyard Hollow is also good. The pretzels and pizza are always a go-to, and there is something for everyone on the menu. My one critique is that the pizza airs on the side of more expensive (expect to pay $16-18 for a 12"). Are the pizzas good? For sure. Is it the best pizza? It's solid, but nothing out of the ordinary for it to be set at that price point. On top of that, I appreciate that Brickyard Hollow makes their own beer. Have I found something that I absolutely love and need to come back for? Not really, but again, I appreciate what they are doing. All in all, if you are looking to meet up with friends and you don't want to worry about parking and you want some pizza, this is a great place to go when you are in Ogunquit. read more

I've been to the Brickyard Hollow branch in Freeport, ME before and fell in love with the pizzas there. When I heard they opened up a new branch in Ogunquit, I was beyond excited! (Less than a half mile away from where we stay). My family and I decided to visit this branch for dinner tonight. There was plenty of parking so that was a no brainer. The friendly staff welcomed us as we walked in. They offer take outs, walk in (grab and sit on your own) or sit at a table with server. We decided to sit and be served. Our server, Sydney, was super friendly and helpful. We ordered our drinks and app immediately and she brought them over quite quickly. The pizza took a little time because they made it fresh. We inhaled the fries and the pizzas. We are sad to have to leave but will definitely be back next year. FYI, their blueberry ricotta pizza is a MUST!!! read more

I came in around 7 on a Wednesday evening by myself and the bar was completely full. I told the hostess that I am fine to sit in the bar but if a table comes first I would take that. She told me to plan on about 15 minutes. When I sat down a waitress came past me and acknowledged me. When she returned I ordered a Tito's and soda and a BH Burger. I was never told about nor offered a beer menu so I can't comment on how their brews are. I will say the drinks are strong and the food is great! Service is slow and my waitress acknowledged me but never came by to really check in. I ate all my fries and saved half my burger for late night. The burger was juicy and the toppings were fresh and tasty. My advice would be to sit at the bar and enjoy a beverage and tasty burger.
