Interior seating with art displayed on the walls. - A cafe interior features light green walls, ceiling fans, and colorful artwork. Customers are seated at tables, and a coat rack is visible near the entrance.

This is clearly a popular breakfast and lunch cafe located conveniently on Route 1. The selection on the menu is impressive and the prices seem reasonable. We did have a brief wait for a table for 6. I had the stuffed French Toast, which was so unique. With two pieces of brioche they coat the inside with mascarpone and I selected blueberries. It was delicious! I enjoyed seeing the various artwork displayed on the walls. It really adds to the cozy atmosphere in the cafe. Our server was very nice and attentive. I will definitely return if we are in the York area again.

Great food, great people. This place is an absolute find in York, Maine. The menu left me spiraling on what to order with so many delicious and fresh made creations. It's a simple place with ample seating. The coffee comes hot and the servers are friendly and fun to chat with. I went for the house corned beef hash which was outstanding. Even the rye bread was super fresh and great. At our table we also had the divide which is a ham and cheese omelette smothered in a homemade green chili sauce. We also had a traditional eggs Benedict. Everything was fantastic and will absolutely be back again.

Very cute decor. - A wooden fence displays various colorful buoys and a red fire alarm box, with trees and plants visible in the background.

The food and service were amazing. I had a Florentine eggs Benedict and it was outstanding and absolutely delicious. I also tried the blueberry pancakes, which were also out of this world. The ambiance was so cute with mini flowers on the table and trivia pursuit cards. I guess I could complain about the estimated wait time but sometimes that's not within their control especially for Sunday brunch. It was a gorgeous day so we just sat . The wait supposed to be 30 minutes, but it was probably 45 minutes an hour. I highly recommend this breakfast place!

Perfect breakfast spot! Looks like all locals in this Monday morning but still very busy. We sampled both sweet and savory. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito packed with bacon, eggs and potatoes. It's submerged in a pork sauce and covered in cheese. The balance to this yumminess was a big bowl of yogurt with homemade granola and fresh banana and strawberries. Also perfect ! Veronica was a great server despite the fact she had 1/2 the restaurant.

American comfort food with a twist - French toast with butter and powdered sugar on a green plate, set on a dark table in a restaurant setting.

Food was good for breakfast. Large portions, quick and friendly service. The place was packed on a Thursday morning, very loud inside.

Breakfast was amazing. There was a short wait, but it was totally worth the wait. Service and food both exceeded our expectations.

We visited on Friday night and sat at a table as the bar seating was pretty packed. Crowd was pretty chill - a mixture of people in their 20's having drinks & apps, and then older couples/families enjoying dinner. We were happy to see Smithwicks on the draft menu, and we also got a Downeast cider with a caramel/cinnamon rim. We ordered the house made mozzarella sticks, which were ginormous, crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and all around delicious. We all opted with different types of burgers - sliders, fried chicken, and a pub burger. All were served with fries and were perfectly cooked. The coating on my fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. Service was awesome - our glasses were never left empty! Best of all, Dwyers has a free jukebox packed with favorites. Looking forward to coming back on our next visit to Portsmouth - we'll definitely be trying the deviled eggs, wings, and fried oreos!

After spending aprox $250 on drinks we were asked to leave our table before we were done because there were other people waiting for tables. I understand that it's a busy St. Paddy's weekend and they need to turn tables over and make $ but it was quite jarring and rude AND we were getting ready to order food. I enjoy this place but i won't be returning. If you want average food and drinks, which is forgivable because of the fun music, and would like to be treated like crap on a Saturday afternoon, Dwyers is the place for you.
