Steak Quesadilla
Alexandra A.

It was to my surprise when I read some of the negative reviews about this cute little breakfast spot. My experience was the complete opposite -- the food was exceptional, clearly made with care and thought. The service was also wonderful; the staff was polite and attentive, and considering the high demand that comes with a busy vacation destination, everything moved along quite smoothly. A good reminder for anyone traveling: patience goes a long way! Small places like this are bound to have wait times when they're popular, but the quality of the food and the friendly service here are absolutely worth it. I would definitely recommend it.

Chicken Fajita Omelette with English muffin, blueberry/lemon cake and homemade strawberry preserves. And a fine cup of coffee.
Buck O.

I went in looking for "good enough" and got way better than that. Greeted warmly by the owner and soon staring at 45+ omelette possibilities. A friendly waitress helped me narrow things down and recommended the chicken fajita omelette, which was my first impulse. A solid cup of dark coffee to begin, and a sizable omelette was soon in front of me with a delicious English muffin and their own homemade strawberry preserves plus a little chunk of blueberry-lemon cake. The omelette was exceptional, and the addition of Chef Bobby's hot sauce made it even better. Totally stuffed by the end, and planning to come back again this week before heading home. A pretty optimal breakfast experience with some very friendly folks.

Inside the blueberry muffin with cinnamon

The eggs and omelettes are still very good. We took a few blueberry muffins to go. I didn't care for them because they were dry and loaded with cinnamon. Service is good and as fast as they can be especially when it's busy. Very cute inside especially the newer upstairs part.

A great local Ogunquit business that is very popular with its residents and customers. They make great omelets but we chose the Irish Benedict Eggs with Corned Beef Hash and potatoes. A great choice.

Wells Maine Eats - Review/Great Spot!!! Chef Bobby (if you know, you know) is back for the 2025 season!!! I've been coming to The Omelette Factory for the past 3 seasons and the food is always consistent and served HOT. My son and I sat upstairs at the counter in the new dining area. If you've been to the omelette factory before and sat at the counter, they have the same setup but now it's upstairs. The new counter seating overlooks chef Bobby's cooking area so you're able to see the chef and his team prepare your food. Our waitress Kathy was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Western omelette that was delicious and my son ordered a ham and cheese omelette. The omelette (see menu in one of the attached pictures) is served with slice of English muffin, homemade Blueberry bread and Strawberry jam. The Western omelette was cooked perfectly and packed with diced ham, green pepper, onion and cheddar. Kathy made sure my coffee was always topped off aka warmed up. My son also enjoyed his ham and cheese omelette. I did not try chef bobby's hot sauce....... The omelette was delicious, service was prompt and friendly, and prices were reasonable. One of the best breakfast places you will find in the Ogunquit, Maine and Wells, Maine area. I believe The Omelette Factory is under new ownership and will be open year round???? Chickens by the road.

Great service. They were very busy when we got there but service was fast. Enjoyed being able to watch the kitchen in action. Had the lobster omelette which was pretty good. I would like to go again and try another one.

"Hearty Breakfast" for $17.95.

Helpful to order online for take out. Staff was friendly at pick up. Order was well packaged and they had condiments and utensils to go if needed. For vegetarians who avoid meat contamination, this place does the omelette in a skillet each time. The cheese omelette was good. The "hearty breakfast" was awful - and they charged $17.95!! No third egg, no baked beans, half slice of thin ham, bread was hardly toasted, and pickled onions do not belong in home fries. See the description versus what we got. And there was no way to get a refund through their online order.

Lobster Benedict, egg over-cooked
Andy B.

Ordered the lobster Benedict and was super excited, up until I cut into it (and then the bite). Looked great on the plate, but it was obvious from the first cut that the egg was way overcooked to the point that there was no runny yolk at all. The first several bites of lobster were great, perfectly tender, but subsequent chunks were overcooked and chewy. Unfortunately the Hollandaise was almost flavorless, rich without adding anything to the palate. The lobster and the few sprinkled chives were all I could taste. The lack of lemon in the hollandaise was particularly disappointing, given how well lemon pairs with lobster. All in all, very underwhelming.

Best breakfast I've ever had! Try the corned beef hash. It's made in house. Service is also top notch. Very friendly staff.

Lovely breakfast in a great town. The wait was a bit long but food was worth it. Service was spot on considering how popular the place is.

Amazing food and friendly service! We had such a great breakfast this morning. The French toast and Benedict in particular were fantastic.

I am so glad we stopped in Ogunquit for two reasons: one because it was an adorable town to explore…read moreand two because we ate an absolutely delightful meal here! Like, I'd probably go out of my way just to come back. It is a super unassuming spot behind the building of a gift/craft store and ice cream shop. There is a bar seating and patio. It was not too crowded at 3ish in the afternoon on a Monday; we were greeted warmly and told to choose a table. They didn't have a high chair but they had booster seats. I got a glass of brut rosé and my husband got the Pilsner on draft. Both were refreshing and delicious! I got a half dozen oysters (followed by another half dozen afterward) of the fresh oysters of the day, and also learnt this place is on the Maine Oyster Trail. For good reason too--they were probably some of the best oysters I've ever had. Shucked perfectly, with delicious cocktail sauce, horseradish, lemon and mignonette. So good I had to get more. I had a burger for my main, with a gluten free bun and no cheese for dairy free. They also have gluten free fries that are made in a separate frier, bless! My husband got the lobster roll, cold style and said it was absolutely delicious--his first lobster roll and everything he hoped it would be. On top of the food and drinks being great, our server was an absolute gem. So kind, so helpful, he went above and beyond to take care of us and ensure my food was allergen safe. He even went out of his way to get milk for our toddler in a fun kids cup. I truly hope to make it back some day soon!

All fresh, different. ..delicious! The lobster roll was generous in portion, & moist on a lightly grilled bun. I also appreciated that is was accompanied by a side of coleslaw that was edible (no watery mayo :) and I ask for a side of greens instead of fries.. Loved the dressing! BB is a quaint outdoor only patio area that offers a full bar and seating. The staff is phenomenal, service is perfcetion and the people watching is vibrant and fun.... just Go! You won't be disappointed.

The wood fired wings are delicious and my daughter loves the Sweet Teriyaki Bowl with tofu, and a variety of vegetables including brussels sprouts & pea shoots. My favorite thing to order at Brickyard is the Blueberry Pizza, which a lovingly call "Pizza of the Gods". I've been ordering this pizza every time we visit, and I hope they never take it off the menu. Pizza of the Gods includes wild Maine Blueberries, lemon, rosemary, and shallots, and beautiful dollops of ricotta topping a white pizza base. All I can say is give it a try - it's heavenly! Service is always good here with food arriving quickly and the atmosphere is casual. I especially like the historic photos of Ogunquit that decorate the restaurant, and when the fireplace is burning, it is a treat to warm up near it. Lastly, the drinks. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but I can always find something on the menu that I'll enjoy. My husband is a beer drinker and he loves it here as well. Brickyard Hollow is one of our go to restaurants in Ogunquit. It's comfortable, reasonably priced, and the food is great!

First thing though, we got seated super close to other parties even though there were open tables. The group behind us spilled water, scooted back, and literally bumped into us without even a quick "sorry" and didn't move their chair back. We ordered the sweet chili wings, but they came out oily and kind of flat on flavor. The burger at our table was decent but definitely on the dry side. The pizza was saltier than we expected, so that missed too. On the bright side, the sweet potato fries was good, the drinks were solid, and the location is great. I think next time I'll just stick with the Portland spot.

First things first - parking is super easy, it's a free valet service (not obvious at first, as there is parking behind the restaurant, but you're greeted right away when you pull in). We walked through the bar area, over to the restaurant area (surprisingly the bar was quite full), and were able to choose a table by one of the two fireplaces. On the restaurant side, it feels very cozy, and homey, exactly where you want to spend a cold night, inside eating dinner. Our server was lovely, greeted us right away and provided menus. I started with a cosmo (they had flavored versions like strawberry, but I elected to go for the classic). For an appetizer, we started with the bacon wrapped scallops - the bacon was maple glazed, and wonderfully crispy, with the scallops cooked perfectly, and some micro-greens scattered on the plate - delicious. For entrees, my mom had the baked seafood stuffed haddock which came with a lobster sherry cream sauce, a massive pile of perfectly cooked green beans, and mashed potatoes (yum). I went with the duck special, which was absolutely delightful. It came with Brussels sprouts, and I subbed out the au gratin (I very strongly dislike sweet potatoes), for mashed potatoes. It was delicious. We were so full, we opted for dessert to go (chocolate cake), which was generously portioned, and decadently delicious. We really enjoyed the meal - this was a wonderful dinner to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday!

We started with scallops wrapped in bacon and their bread service. The butter was sweetened and the bread was great. The scallops with bacon were excellent. My husband enjoyed a few vodka with cranberry and he wasn't disappointed. He chose the crab stuffed shrimp and sincerely loved it. The rice and green beans were great but he was full from the shrimp. I chose the filet with a lobster tail, fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Everything was simply superb. Dress was casual and the place was clean. Not thinking they are accessible though as there were steps going in the two doors we used.
