Egg white spinach omelette and a side of home fries!
    Stella K.

What a find! LARGEST OMELETTE I've ever had! Amazing, unassuming breakfast place only 15 min walk from the heart of Ogunquit! 40 different types of omelettes, spanning from classics (ham and cheese) to meaty to unconventional. We had the banana, honey, cream cheese and ham omelette, and the spinach egg white omelette, with a side of the house potatoes (see photos). Each omelette is accompanied by their amazing house strawberry jam, half English muffin and a piece of blueberry cake. Come for the food and stay for the company - the service is friendly and attentive without being pushy, the place relaxing and lovely, and overall a five stars breakfast experience. Don't forget to take selfies with the huge roosters in the yard. Yes, they have names

Uber friendly service. Tons of combinations with eggs. Lovely servers and coffee top ups available.seems to be a local favorite. Parking in a gravel lot can be smallish when it gets busy. They recently renovated is what I understand from the employees.

It was to my surprise when I read some of the negative reviews about this cute little breakfast spot. My experience was the complete opposite -- the food was exceptional, clearly made with care and thought. The service was also wonderful; the staff was polite and attentive, and considering the high demand that comes with a busy vacation destination, everything moved along quite smoothly. A good reminder for anyone traveling: patience goes a long way! Small places like this are bound to have wait times when they're popular, but the quality of the food and the friendly service here are absolutely worth it. I would definitely recommend it.

Chicken Fajita Omelette with English muffin, blueberry/lemon cake and homemade strawberry preserves. And a fine cup of coffee.

I went in looking for "good enough" and got way better than that. Greeted warmly by the owner and soon staring at 45+ omelette possibilities. A friendly waitress helped me narrow things down and recommended the chicken fajita omelette, which was my first impulse. A solid cup of dark coffee to begin, and a sizable omelette was soon in front of me with a delicious English muffin and their own homemade strawberry preserves plus a little chunk of blueberry-lemon cake. The omelette was exceptional, and the addition of Chef Bobby's hot sauce made it even better. Totally stuffed by the end, and planning to come back again this week before heading home. A pretty optimal breakfast experience with some very friendly folks.

A great local Ogunquit business that is very popular with its residents and customers. They make great omelets but we chose the Irish Benedict Eggs with Corned Beef Hash and potatoes. A great choice.

The eggs and omelettes are still very good. We took a few blueberry muffins to go. I didn't care for them because they were dry and loaded with cinnamon. Service is good and as fast as they can be especially when it's busy. Very cute inside especially the newer upstairs part.

Wells Maine Eats - Review/Great Spot!!! Chef Bobby (if you know, you know) is back for the 2025 season!!! I've been coming to The Omelette Factory for the past 3 seasons and the food is always consistent and served HOT. My son and I sat upstairs at the counter in the new dining area. If you've been to the omelette factory before and sat at the counter, they have the same setup but now it's upstairs. The new counter seating overlooks chef Bobby's cooking area so you're able to see the chef and his team prepare your food. Our waitress Kathy was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Western omelette that was delicious and my son ordered a ham and cheese omelette. The omelette (see menu in one of the attached pictures) is served with slice of English muffin, homemade Blueberry bread and Strawberry jam. The Western omelette was cooked perfectly and packed with diced ham, green pepper, onion and cheddar. Kathy made sure my coffee was always topped off aka warmed up. My son also enjoyed his ham and cheese omelette. I did not try chef bobby's hot sauce....... The omelette was delicious, service was prompt and friendly, and prices were reasonable. One of the best breakfast places you will find in the Ogunquit, Maine and Wells, Maine area. I believe The Omelette Factory is under new ownership and will be open year round???? Great service. They were very busy when we got there but service was fast. Enjoyed being able to watch the kitchen in action. Had the lobster omelette which was pretty good. I would like to go again and try another one.

Admittedly we wanted to go to the Cove Cafe but the line was SO long and I really wanted to try their homemade corned beef so when I saw that this menu had homemade corned beef I said "lets give it a shot!" so I grabbed the Irish Benedict and my fiance grabbed something on the specials menu, which was a stuffed French toast brioche. Food came out pretty quickly and we couldnt wait to dig in! My Irish Benedict was a 5/5, amazing!! They gave me so much corned beef under my egg, which was a perfectly runny center, and a smooth hollandaise. The potatoes that came with it were perfectly seasoned as well. Every bite, I was so happy. Literally was exactly what I wanted that morning. Now, my fiances French toast wasn't as good. We expected thick pieces of bread, oozing with flavor and a thicker filling. Unfortunately what we got looked to be 2 thinner pieces of maybe sourdough bread with a thinner filling that almost leaked out the sides. The lemon filling and blueberries on top just gave everything a very tart flavor. It was good, dont get me wrong, but not great. So that was a 3/5 for us. Overall if we are back in the Ogunquit area, we are definitely having breakfast here! There was plenty of parking, a nice outdoor patio and great staff.

The mocha just didn't taste quite right, and while the iced coffee wasn't bad, it wasn't anything that stood out. I'd be willing to give the coffee another try, though. That said... the sandwiches are AMAZING. I built my own with roast beef, and they were incredibly generous with the deli meat. The sourdough bread was absolute perfection. They also offer free WiFi with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot to work remotely or enjoy lunch. I spent about three hours here and would definitely come back. One thing to keep in mind: they're right in the center of town, so it stays busy. There was a line nearly the entire time I was there, but don't let that discourage you. Even with the line, both my drinks and food were ready within just a few minutes of ordering. Great service despite the crowds!

So I looked them up and saw the adult happy meal on the menu and knew I had to try them. An hour and half drive was 100000% worth it!!! The entire building is small but feels very inviting and comfortable. The atmosphere is iconic with out of this world 90s cartoons painted on the walls. Even the bathroom had a touch of this nostalgia and whimsy (trust me look in the bathroom mirror for an amazing little touch). The staff were equally amazing and truly wonderful. I am currently pregnant and being very careful about what I eat so my husband asked the bartender/waiter if the feta is pasteurized. Most people would have simply said I don't know and moved on but this fellow went and asked the kitchen if the feta is pasteurized (it is). It's little things like that that make us want to go back. Now on to the star the food and drink! We had the soft pretzel which comes with beer cheese and stone ground honey mustard and the fried feta. The pretzel was great and the beer cheese was also great but the feta was indescribable. Every aspect of the feta was perfect and a true umami experience. I got the adult happy meal (a smash burger, chicken nuggets, and fries). It also comes with a toy which is just cherry on top status. The burger was fantastic BUT the fries and nuggets were crazy good. My husband got Flo's Double Burger and he had eaten half of it before I got mine out of the box. He would have eaten two of them if he wasn't so full! He also got the I gotta say... today was a good day sour ale. He loved it and enjoyed it enough we left with a four pack! This is the perfect Maine hidden gem and we will be back soon!
