RISOTTO ALA FRUTTI DI MARE I had was AMAZING! 5 The ribeye could not be cooked correctly so our waitress had to remove. And my daughter asked for med- well... they ended up taking off bill. The kids burger was good I asked for skinny margarita and my daughter Espresso martini both good but very expensive Overall my plate was only one worth the money

The best Blueberry Martini's made from home made blueberry puree! Once again, we made it to Five-0 Friendly server said there is new ownership...next time will try dinner!

One of the best options for a dinner in Ogunquit, consistent ingredient quality and execution leave little to be desired here... Excellent cocktails and seasonal menu variations would recommend

Great little spot in downtown Ogunquit. We came here while staying at the Cliff House and split a bunch of appetizers. The fried oysters were some of the best we've had! We debated ordering a second plate. I also recommend the veal meatballs and octopus. In addition, Five O Offers a wide selection of cocktails. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed the coconut ginger martini ! I recommend stopping here if you will be in the area - but, I wouldn't drive here solely for this restaurant.

My overall takeaway would be that this was a good meal with fast, COVID-safe service. We had the bolognese and the pork and both were pretty tasty, classic dishes. They have outdoor dining for COVID-19 precautions. Masks are required on the way to your table and all the servers wear masks. The location is great because you can easily walk to the big parking lot and see all the shops before/after dinner. I recommend making a reservation through Resy. I asked Resy to notify me if a 7pm Friday reservation became available and I got a notice 24 hours before dinner that it did! So don't give up if your date/time isn't available at first glance - ask to be notified.

The food and atmosphere is awesome here! The calamari was some of the best I've ever had and the clam pasta was so delicious! The main room isn't too big so if it's busy it can get loud. The service was attentive and friendly and had so many good recommendations for my party. I enjoyed every entree I tried and I hope to be back soon!

We sat at a table by the window on the first floor. We overheard that there is an upstairs bar, not sure if they also seat folks for dinner there. We were able to place an order right after getting settled. We enjoyed the Sun mocktail, charred beet salad, mac and cheese, fried codd sandwich, steak frites, and corn ravioli (without the pancetta). My spouse is gluten free and I am vegetarian so we are always looking for restaurants that can accommodate both. The charred beet salad was good but I think dressed a bit too heavily. I thought the corn ravioli and sun mocktail were both great. The kids (ages 1.5 and 5) liked the Mac and cheese and fried cod sandwich. They did not have any appropriate booster seats for the 1.5 year old so my spouse held him. My spouse loved the steak frites but I think wished had a few more "frites" given the amount of interest from the younger crowd. Our waiter was wonderful and also brought some orange slices from the bar for the kids. We were very grateful. We decided to go nearby for ice cream after dinner, but I heard there is a dessert menu.

Gosh, you just hope you made a memorable choice for the right reasons. We did - we both felt we not only received value for our dining dollars, we felt cared for by the staff and satiated by the kitchen. People like sitting outside - so the reservations reflected that and we could only be seated inside. Was not a disappointment to be seated inside. I highly recommend this restaurant. I had a steak sandwich and my dining partner had a chicken sandwich. Both were really tasty and well prepared. We only had water to drink and that was not a problem. I feel many times if I don't order an app or a drink a server becomes less friendly. That wasn't our experience here. I don't believe in over rewarding a place - but I feel a 4.5 out of 5 is appropriate. Since I can't give that - I rounded up to 5.

The seafood was below average but I enjoyed their fried fish options. Oysters were full of shards and I've had way better pretty much everywhere else. Service is decent, but maybe below average for the amount of workers they had on the floor in comparison to the amount of people that were actually dining. It's also a bit ridiculous that they haven't fixed their menu issue. There's going to be wind at the beach, maybe find a way to not have menus fly out into the ocean pretty much every 5 minutes? The menus are also laminated, so they just sit there to not rot and instead pollute the area. I suggest having some sort of hole puncher and a binder ring to give it weight and perhaps anchor it to something because the issue is getting out of hand. Not the best way to have a beach-side restaurant.

We arrived without a reservation and were told there would be about an hour wait. The host came across as a bit snarky, although he did offer us seats at the bar, which we appreciated. After being seated, it took about 30 minutes before anyone took our order, followed by another 40 minutes before our food arrived. The bartenders were working incredibly hard and were clearly doing everything they could to keep up with the rush, so I don't fault them at all. Unfortunately, one of our meals arrived cold and was extremely over-salted. The restaurant refunded that dish without hesitation, which I appreciated, but it shouldn't have left the kitchen that way in the first place. From what we could see, the kitchen was seriously backed up and the overall operation wasn't being managed well. The staff deserved better support because they were hustling nonstop while trying to deal with unhappy customers. I hope management addresses these issues because the employees are putting in the effort. With better kitchen execution and smoother operations, this could be a much better dining experience.

The menu varies by season and always reflects a local Maine touch. The appetizers are exquisite (Shellfish Tower, Shrimp Cocktail, Oysters, Salads and Chowders) and the entrees always tasteful whether its the lobster, salmon, scallops, which are always fresh , or the beef, chicken or duck dishes, all are perfectly cooked as ordered. The wine list is ample and if there is something that you want for a special occasion, you should call in advance and they may be able to order it. No guarantees but they try! And the desserts, well my mouth is watering as I write this. Please bring back the sticky toffee pudding!!! We have always found the wait staff to be professional, patient and polite. Dana and Javier have done a great job juggling the natural challenges in this area. Trainees shadow the pros and they learn how to handle the range of high-low and no maintenance guests. We have seen them all! The ambience is warm and inviting and of course, the many views of the cobalt blue Atlantic and Marginal Way from the roof deck and most tables simply wraps the entire dining experience into a magical evening. My martini was perfect, but food left a lot to be desired. I was debating between the mac & cheese (without lobster) and the stuffed leeks. The server convinced me to get the stuffed leeks. When they came out, the leeks themselves/the filling were room temp (like not hot or cold), but the sauce around it was hot, which I thought was odd. It almost seemed like the leeks had been sitting out for a while and then the sauce was poured on at the last second. I didn't want to sound crazy by asking the server if the dish should be warm, so shortly after receiving, I asked to order the kids mac & cheese. It was $16!!! For such a small portion. I didn't even finish 2/3 of the leeks and was kind of hoping to get it taken off our bill since I paid $28 for something I didn't end up eating due to how it was served/worry about food being left out and not properly heated. We had a hard time choosing where to eat because everything around the area had like three stars, but would come highly recommend recommended. This is one I think I would say could be skipped! My friend got the lobster croquettes and said the croquettes were warm and the lobster was cold. Not sure if that was intentional?
