Mayo lobster roll not buttered lobster roll is the way to go. Cold lobster roll not hot lobster roll. After lobster on a salad. Arrive at 11:30 AM to sit down at Noon.

Really nice view from our table upstairs but that's the only nice thing I can say about this place. The service was terrible-someone in my party asked for sweetener for her iced tea and the waitress said she would "have to go downstairs to get it." Talk about a guilt trip! We also ordered truffle parm fries for $2 extra and received plain fries. When I mentioned it to the waitress, her solution was to bring out a truffle parmesan seasoning container and sprinkled it on our fries right at the table. I don't think that's how it works?!?! We were shocked! Save your time and money and go somewhere where the staff actually want to host you.

My friends and I were walking around by the beach and decided to pop into this restaurant. Do they have the best lobster roll in Maine? No. But do they have a really nice location and ambiance? For sure! My friends and I got the lobster roll (the larger one) to share. It was almost like an appetizer. I don't think I'd come back for lobster here, as there are plenty of other options around, but the service was great and we had a nice experience overall. I'd recommend if you're more interested in vibes than the food itself.

Beautiful restaurant, great service and great food! Don't be fool by the size of lobster ravioli! It was so filling! I couldn't finish it. It was delicious and fresh

We were looking for dinner on the water, and the lobster Rangoons on the menu at Ogunquit Beach Lobster House drew us in! My husband and I were seated, and our server, who also doubled as the bartender, was friendly and attentive. The experience was a little more informal than we were expecting, with us shouting our drink orders to him at the bar from our seat and him talking to the table behind us while refilling our drinks. The Rangoons were definitely worth it and had a very tasty aioli sauce. The clam chowder was delicious, but I've definitely had better bisque. My husband enjoyed his colossal lobster roll, and since I was looking for a change from seafood, I had the vegetable ravioli. They were swimming in a pretty basic tomato sauce, and the dish made me wish I had stuck to seafood instead. The restaurant was beautifully designed inside and the views were fantastic.

    HUGE PIECES OF LOBSTER!!!

This place is awesome! I was a little nervous when I read recent reviews but honestly I think those reviewers where high out of their mind. We would have payed twice the amount for 1/3 the quality back home. We ordered the steamers (9/10), lobster Rangoon (9.5/10), garden salad and Caesar salad (10/10), BLOODY MARY WITH A HUGE SHRIMP AND LOBSTER (100/10) and their lobster bisque soup which had huge chunks of lobster in it (1000/10). Yes it was expensive but we are paying for lobster which is EXPENSIVE. Also we had a wonderful experience with Analise, she was attentive, quick and very friendly. I will recommend this place and their GREAT SERVICE for anyone going to Maine.

So lucky to score the corner table with the most amazing view of the water! Scallops with bacon, oysters on the half shell with fresh mignette sauce, seafood chowder, lobster roll, and salmon with an amazing honey sauce were all thoroughly enjoyed by our party. Carly provided great service and was friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the "rotating" mango peach cider. Made our heads spin!

Main shore dinner. Lobster was great, the clams were meh, the blueberry pie that comes after was great.

Service was a bit slow but we sat upstairs. Had a great view and the food was good. Clams were a bit grimy but everything else was wonderful.

    Truffle fries

There was a short wait and a sign hanging at the hostess station saying they are short handed and to be patient. The top patio was closed. The wait to be seated was short but the time to get our food and drink was a lot longer. The broth the mussels were in was not good and it wasn't a little bit of broth. It filled about 1/2 of the bowl so it was unavoidable. My friend's Caprese sandwich didn't look good and she told me it tasted as sad as it looked. Also, the "truffle" fries were a joke. There was no truffle flavor and there was just some kind of crumb seasoning that we couldn't even figure out what the flavor was supposed to be.

From the moment we entered we felt at home. The location is clean and warm and inviting. Service was attentive and quick (thank you Tanya) Drinks were flavorful and spicy. Our soups were exquisite; the lobster rolls buttery and decadent.

Like, I'd probably go out of my way just to come back. It is a super unassuming spot behind the building of a gift/craft store and ice cream shop. There is a bar seating and patio. It was not too crowded at 3ish in the afternoon on a Monday; we were greeted warmly and told to choose a table. They didn't have a high chair but they had booster seats. I got a glass of brut rosé and my husband got the Pilsner on draft. Both were refreshing and delicious! I got a half dozen oysters (followed by another half dozen afterward) of the fresh oysters of the day, and also learnt this place is on the Maine Oyster Trail. For good reason too--they were probably some of the best oysters I've ever had. Shucked perfectly, with delicious cocktail sauce, horseradish, lemon and mignonette. So good I had to get more. I had a burger for my main, with a gluten free bun and no cheese for dairy free. They also have gluten free fries that are made in a separate frier, bless! My husband got the lobster roll, cold style and said it was absolutely delicious--his first lobster roll and everything he hoped it would be. On top of the food and drinks being great, our server was an absolute gem. So kind, so helpful, he went above and beyond to take care of us and ensure my food was allergen safe. He even went out of his way to get milk for our toddler in a fun kids cup. I truly hope to make it back some day soon!

First things first - parking is super easy, it's a free valet service (not obvious at first, as there is parking behind the restaurant, but you're greeted right away when you pull in). We walked through the bar area, over to the restaurant area (surprisingly the bar was quite full), and were able to choose a table by one of the two fireplaces. On the restaurant side, it feels very cozy, and homey, exactly where you want to spend a cold night, inside eating dinner. Our server was lovely, greeted us right away and provided menus. I started with a cosmo (they had flavored versions like strawberry, but I elected to go for the classic). For an appetizer, we started with the bacon wrapped scallops - the bacon was maple glazed, and wonderfully crispy, with the scallops cooked perfectly, and some micro-greens scattered on the plate - delicious. For entrees, my mom had the baked seafood stuffed haddock which came with a lobster sherry cream sauce, a massive pile of perfectly cooked green beans, and mashed potatoes (yum). I went with the duck special, which was absolutely delightful. It came with Brussels sprouts, and I subbed out the au gratin (I very strongly dislike sweet potatoes), for mashed potatoes. It was delicious. We were so full, we opted for dessert to go (chocolate cake), which was generously portioned, and decadently delicious. We really enjoyed the meal - this was a wonderful dinner to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday!

We started with scallops wrapped in bacon and their bread service. The butter was sweetened and the bread was great. The scallops with bacon were excellent. My husband enjoyed a few vodka with cranberry and he wasn't disappointed. He chose the crab stuffed shrimp and sincerely loved it. The rice and green beans were great but he was full from the shrimp. I chose the filet with a lobster tail, fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Everything was simply superb. Dress was casual and the place was clean. Not thinking they are accessible though as there were steps going in the two doors we used.

One of our favorite stops had closed due to seasonal hours, so we decided to hit some other locals places. We were thrilled when we found the Fisherman's Catch last year and decided to go back again this year. We were seated right away and served not too long after. The staff is friendly and attentive. The upscale shack-like atmosphere is on point. We love their lobster paper towel holders that are suspended from the ceiling. I can say that the seating inside is comfortable but I have not been able to try the outdoor seating. So far we have tried the scallops, clam strips, fish sandwich, clam chowder, the fries, the coleslaw, and I'm sure I've forgotten something else. We have been very pleased with everything. When visiting in-season, it's best to get to the restaurant before 5pm. Parking fills up and the line can get long. In late October or early November it is much easier to get a table. Try this place once and I can guarantee you'll be planning a return trip.

Our server Benjamin was excellent. We started with 10 Maine oysters which were well shucked and ice cold. They were sweet and delicious + added two raw clams. Each oyster was labeled with cute wood sticks. Love the Maine oyster names. The Maine course was lobster risotto with balsamic drizzle. The rice was perfectly cooked with good deep flavor. The disappointment was the less than 2 Oz - 1/2 lobster tail sitting on top. It was tender, but a little more lobster pieces in this almost $40 dish of creamy Arborio rice would have been nice. The balsamic drizzle was a great taste touch. Lobster roll - nice presentation and tender lobster on the warm under-buttered hot dog roll - but not enough lobster. Decent fries and small cold slaw. Good flavor but sides should not be an extra charge. Blueberry pie - good but not as good as the nearby Ogunquit restaurant competition. Will return in year 3 - hopefully for a five star shout out.
