Got a drink upstairs while waiting for our room and the view is amazing. In the summer they have a large patio and can open up the windows all the way. The service was friendly and quick. In the morning we got breakfast and we had to wait a little bit for a big party to get seated but once we got seated the service was fast. I got a breakfast sandwich and it was good. read more

We got a great seat outside with a great view and then asked our waiter about a drink on the HH menu and was told that they no longer have HH. Bummer! We then looked at the regular menu and found two drinks that sounded delicious and the waiter came back and said, "I'm sorry but we don't have any of the drinks on the cocktail menu." What?? The bartender came over and told us that their order didn't come in so that explained their low shortage. He was very nice and made our well drinks and then went elsewhere. read more

We've been bringing tour groups here for both breakfast and a lobster bake dinner for years and the attentive staff always deliver an excellent experience. Plus, there is no topping the views of the Atlantic Ocean! We appreciate all that The Anchorage Sales Coordinator Mary Jordan does to make each visit so special. The food here is so good that our family dined here for breakfast every day of our stay at Anchorage by the Sea. The prices are a bit inflated, with lots of options being a la carte. We experienced servers forgetting to bring items we ordered on two occasions. Also, the tables are really close together so it was difficult to get in and out of the chairs without disrupting other patrons. A good option if you'd like to stay "on campus" for breakfast. read more

Additionally, there was plenty of parking spaces open, but we were told that we couldn't park our car there by a host. We just recently stayed for 2 nights for my best friends birthday. We had the best experience in the upstairs bar area at 360. Our bartender Sherri was great. Not only does she make the best rum punch in Maine , she is friendly , outgoing, and provides great service. Great spot, great view, great staff! This is a regular stop every year for us. Unfortunately, like a few other places in town, it fell short to how it was before/last year. We went for breakfast. New menu and prices seemed higher. I had the pancakes and scrambled eggs with iced tea. The ice tea was watered down and had too much ice. Hostess and staff were nice. Food took a while which was unusual from before. Eggs didn't taste as good as before. Maybe they used a different oil? Unsure. The pancakes were okay. They didn't taste as good as they did last year. Maybe they used a different batter? My husband's meal was largely disappointing. Avocado toast. He said it was mushy and flavorless. They covered it in too many tomatoes. He thought they were trying to make it look bigger with the tomatoes. He added the egg on top but it didn't improve the flavor. read more

I figured the food wouldn't great considering it was a reasonably priced oceanfront restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised! We went on a Wednesday afternoon around 4 - we did not have reservations (which are recommended) and were seated right away at a very nice oceanfront table. The waiter was great, we were not rushed at all and felt like we could sit and hang out for as long as we wanted. The drinks were good, and reasonably priced for an oceanfront restaurant. Mixed drinks were $10-12 each. Food was delicious. Both of us ordered the haddock sandwich ($13) and it had a huge piece of fried haddock that tasted so fresh. This review is only about the cocktail bar upstairs. We wanted to enjoy good cocktails to end our evening. Based on a recommendation from another hotel guest, he suggested this place. We arrived after 8pm, to find a wonderfully designed cocktail bar. There was ample seating of various designs, and open aired with great views. We chose a 2 top pub table close to the bar. Our bar server/bartender greeted us, but without any introduction. The cocktail selections were good so we ordered an espresso martini and Finding the Marginal Way. When our bar server delivered the drinks, the espresso martini instantly spilled over the rim and ran down the glass. The server left. The bottom of the glass was bathing in drink. She didn't apologize, nor return with any napkins. Who wants any cocktail dripping down onto them? My drink (the marginal way) was ok overall, but very light on flavor or booze. We decided after this it's one and done. While we finished, the server bussed a table nearby, then dropped a condiment cup of ketchup. While most spilled on the floor, the perfect little bit hit my forearm. Did she apologize and ask if anyone was hit, no. Let me use another napkin to wipe off. I finally asked for the check, and when she returned this is when she asked if any ketchup hit me. I said yes. But this was just too late. Her don't give a f#ck attitude was more than enough. This place is so disappointing . The views are great but the food and drink is terrible. I want you to look at the espresso martini photo posted in this review. This spells it all. Everything is in plastic containers and plates. They charge prices similar to a high class restaurant. I would not recommend this place for nothing more than a few beers which they can't mess up. We've been going here for 20+ years. Extremely poor experience first visit this year. Has always been a consistent staple for us. Very limited menu now. The lobster roll along with other favorites have been removed. The mussels came out cold, the salmon which was $34 was over cooked. Our service was poor and the food took 45 minutes. And not that we are big rolls and butter people but we were hungry, they no longer served these as well. It's unfortunate being that they have the best view going. I returned to southpoint 360 for the first time in about one year. I must say that this was the most disappointing restaurant and by experience I have had in the past several years. It only gets two stars because of the views you get on the deck. My service here on Saturday was atrocious. My husband and I sat down at around 5 p.m. at an open lounge table for four on the deck looking at the ocean. A bus person or a server came by and cleaned up the previous persons mass and we said hello, but he never acknowledged us. About 10 minutes later, another couple was looking for a seat and since we had two openings at ours, and the place was busy, we invited them to sit down with us. So now we had a party of four we waited another 30 minutes before I went to the bar and asked if there was service for us on the deck. The bartender said they will be right out another 12 minutes went by and that did not happen, so I went back in. The server or bartender said she would have been right out. Instead, we ordered our drinks there. She said she would deliver them to our table. When she delivered them, the couple with us overheard her say something to the effect of "oh, it's them.' the drink itself was good, and the ambiance overlooking the ocean was beautiful. Weather service was disgusting in hundreds of reviews on Yelp and only given a few 1 and 2 star rated. Unfortunately, this joins those select few. If you ever at the Anchorage, which is where this is, are you stumble upon this place, please just avoid it. You can find other views throughout Ogunquit which have better service. read more
