We had a great experience but ... The view from our table was great, service was fine, and the food was delicious. Six of us had a delightful lunch and I thought the prices were fair for a coastal resort restaurant. There's a great looking upstairs deck and the patio was really nice. The grounds are incredibly well cared for. Somebody has invested a lot into the property to keep it in prime condition. However, on our way out after lunch we bumped into another couple leaving in frustration. They had been served drinks and then nobody returned to take their food orders. I don't know what happened. Absolutely Awful! "Greeted" tonight by a grey haired old woman shoeing me away from her private event by just shouting the word, "NO." How did she know I wasn't part of the private event? No idea. I had never been to this restaurant before, and I'll never be back. Don't bother coming to this overrated establishment. We sat downstairs where it was a little dark, but upstairs might have been a completely different experience. Very nice location just off the Marginal Way shoreline walk. The restaurant itself has two levels with main dining room on ground level and bar / high top tables on second floor. Second floor is accessed by a reasonably steep staircase which is how we watched all food from kitchen be delivered. Bar is a cozy area which is circular in shape, as is the main dining room, hence the 360 in the name. Decent ocean views from virtually any seat. The bar menu is not vast and we ordered chicken wing app as well as spinach and artichoke dip for starters, was what you would expect from a bar app selection. Mains were fried haddock sandwich and bang mussels, both were excellent examples of the kind. Waitress was quick, friendly and attentive. Drinks were quickly replenished when empty. Overall a good experience in Ogunquit Worth a visit in the area. As for parking, the restaurant itself is part of a relatively large two story, two bank motel operation. I'm certain in the height of the season the lot is quite full. In the off season no problem parking in the lot. read more

Went for happy hour after looking at their website-sounded great! We got a great seat outside with a great view and then asked our waiter about a drink on the HH menu and was told that they no longer have HH. Bummer! We then looked at the regular menu and found two drinks that sounded delicious and the waiter came back and said, "I'm sorry but we don't have any of the drinks on the cocktail menu." What?? The bartender came over and told us that their order didn't come in so that explained their low shortage. He was very nice and made our well drinks and then went elsewhere. read more

We've been bringing tour groups here for both breakfast and a lobster bake dinner for years and the attentive staff always deliver an excellent experience. Plus, there is no topping the views of the Atlantic Ocean! We appreciate all that The Anchorage Sales Coordinator Mary Jordan does to make each visit so special. This past Fall (2023) our final meal was delivered Danielle, Nile and Carolyn, and the lobster was perfectly steamed by chef Nick. The food here is so good that our family dined here for breakfast every day of our stay at Anchorage by the Sea. The prices are a bit inflated, with lots of options being a la carte. We experienced servers forgetting to bring items we ordered on two occasions. Also, the tables are really close together so it was difficult to get in and out of the chairs without disrupting other patrons. A good option if you'd like to stay "on campus" for breakfast. read more

We just recently stayed for 2 nights for my best friends birthday. We had the best experience in the upstairs bar area at 360. Our bartender Sherri was great. Not only does she make the best rum punch in Maine , she is friendly , outgoing, and provides great service. Great spot, great view, great staff! This is a regular stop every year for us. Unfortunately, like a few other places in town, it fell short to how it was before/last year. We went for breakfast. New menu and prices seemed higher. I had the pancakes and scrambled eggs with iced tea. The ice tea was watered down and had too much ice. Hostess and staff were nice. Food took a while which was unusual from before. Eggs didn't taste as good as before. Maybe they used a different oil? Unsure. The pancakes were okay. They didn't taste as good as they did last year. Maybe they used a different batter? My husband's meal was largely disappointing. Avocado toast. He said it was mushy and flavorless. They covered it in too many tomatoes. I figured the food wouldn't great considering it was a reasonably priced oceanfront restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised! We went on a Wednesday afternoon around 4 - we did not have reservations (which are recommended) and were seated right away at a very nice oceanfront table. The waiter was great, we were not rushed at all and felt like we could sit and hang out for as long as we wanted. The drinks were good, and reasonably priced for an oceanfront restaurant. Mixed drinks were $10-12 each. Food was delicious. Both of us ordered the haddock sandwich ($13) and it had a huge piece of fried haddock that tasted so fresh. The fries were my favorite kind of fries. Definitely will go back if I'm in the area again, loved this place!!! read more

They do not seat parties of 6 with a water view, they will sit you on the hotel poolside. We did have a really wonderful meal here. This review is only about the cocktail bar upstairs. We wanted to enjoy good cocktails to end our evening. Based on a recommendation from another hotel guest, he suggested this place. We arrived after 8pm, to find a wonderfully designed cocktail bar. There was ample seating of various designs, and open aired with great views. We chose a 2 top pub table close to the bar. Our bar server/bartender greeted us, but without any introduction. The cocktail selections were good so we ordered an espresso martini and Finding the Marginal Way. When our bar server delivered the drinks, the espresso martini instantly spilled over the rim and ran down the glass. The server left. The bottom of the glass was bathing in drink. She didn't apologize, nor return with any napkins. Who wants any cocktail dripping down onto them? My drink (the marginal way) was ok overall, but very light on flavor or booze. We decided after this it's one and done. While we finished, the server bussed a table nearby, then dropped a condiment cup of ketchup. While most spilled on the floor, the perfect little bit hit my forearm. Did she apologize and ask if anyone was hit, no. Let me use another napkin to wipe off. I finally asked for the check, and when she returned this is when she asked if any ketchup hit me. I said yes. But this was just too late. Her don't give a f#ck attitude was more than enough. This place is so disappointing . The views are great but the food and drink is terrible. I want you to look at the espresso martini photo posted in this review. This spells it all. Everything is in plastic containers and plates. They charge prices similar to a high class restaurant. I would not recommend this place for nothing more than a few beers which they can't mess up. We've been going here for 20+ years. Extremely poor experience first visit this year. Has always been a consistent staple for us. Very limited menu now. The lobster roll along with other favorites have been removed. The mussels came out cold, the salmon which was $34 was over cooked. Our service was poor and the food took 45 minutes. And not that we are big rolls and butter people but we were hungry, they no longer served these as well. It's unfortunate being that they have the best view going.
