Overall a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area. Staff was super friendly and loved talking to us. They were also very quick, and very professional. The burger was one of the juiciest most wonderful burger I've ever had. The menu selection was very good, and I was put in a predicament where I didn't know what to order because everything looked so fantastic. The price was a little on the high side, but great for what you get. The ambience is nice inside, and they also have outdoor seating. read more

The owner is very well known for putting last minute, unplanned dishes together. He had very successful businesses in York, but due to the pandemic, two of them closed. He has since reopened a new business in the same location he had a taco place. (Of course, more than just tacos.) I was really bummed when that closed, but so happy he reopened into something new. The burgers are top notch. They are really good quality. Everything is fresh and made to order. We had a couple of his "off the menu" burgers and they did not disappoint. We also had a burger from the regular menu. I saw a FB post recently stating he created a Mexican dish that was being offered that day. Seriously, take it day by day and never go in with an expectation of what you "think" you will be ordering. He's full of surprises and we have never been disappointed with any dishes at any of his many business locations. read more

Everything this owner touches is gold. We all had great meals--for me the Thai chicken sandwich is a winner but it's the sweet potato fries with curry aioli I'll dream of at night. Good price point, good hot dogs, there was much raving about the Brussels sprouts. (Did they save me any?! No!!) I'll be going back for the brisket. Great addition to York--much needed. read more

One of the juiciest, tastiest burgers I've ever had! Next time I'll try the chicken sandwich.

This review is simple. The burger here is outstanding!!! Got the double. Girlfriend got the chicken sandwich. We split small order of fries and a small cup of Mac n Cheese. Everything was amazing! If there was one minor note, the "crispy fries" weren't really all that crispy...still good...just not crispy. Would come back here anytime I am close. Felt like our total bill with two sodas came in under $40 in this day and age it was very pleasant news for an excellent meal! read more

Best burger place around the area. Nice menu options, solid burgers, and the hot dogs are also very good. Only negative I'd say is the closing time of 7pm. Hopefully that changes to a bit later in the future. read more

Awesome food and service. Excellent variety of items on the menu. Top quality. Great location.

Burgers were so good we didn't even get a photo! Inhaled so quickly! First off let me say a toasted brioche bun is the cherry on top to any burger! This place thought of it all every topping was amazing quality. We got the moose burger and the blue moon burger! I highly recommend both! The fries were (MUAH) chefs kiss! If you are looking for a bomb lunch or a bust in burger for dinner I highly recommend stopping by! Cute seating options as well! We sat at the outside bar seating! Just stop reading this review and get your but over there! Seriously what are you doing! Get in your car! read more

Dig! I've gotten takeout twice and it's always fresh and well packed. Tasty burgers and chicken sandos abound, featuring new and previously unimagined taste sensations! Interesting options and specials will keep my wife and I coming back for more. Don't miss the killer sweet potato fries and curry mayo dip ambiance read more

Dirt cheap for the quality of the food. Had a good time walking here after school at YMS. Affordable and amazing. Hot dogs hit the spot and chips are out of this world. Outdoor seating has a nice view. Waits after ordering aren't usually too long. read more

I have gone to Moose Burgers several times , burgers are excellent onion rings too, brought friends who also loved it! Prices good, service fast & friendly! Ck it out folks. read more

Way over priced and way way over salted. The burger size has increased so you no longer are forced to purchase a double for an upcharge. That being said the rest has gone down hill. Food was so salted it was barely edible. One of the simplest things, and most important things, to teach young kitchen staff is proper seasoning. However, from trying, burger, chicken sandwich, fries, and a frie special that came with a form of un-tender pulled pork, the taste that was most prevalent in the array of flavors would be SALT. Very disappointing, not my first time eating here, but for my wife she said it will be her first and last. Save your self some money and if you want to get a mouth full of salt and similar food go to McDonald's or Burger King. read more

This place is a hidden gem for sure. The name is misleading as they serve much more than burgers. I had the carne asada bowl and it was excellent, the meat was well portioned and tender, best rice and beans I ever had. My friend got the rare tuna bowl and once again the tuna was seared and seasoned to perfection. And to top it off my son got the best vanilla shake he ever had. read more

I love their hot dogs , All the buns are crispy toasted . My husband says the ground beef is very high quality and tasty. I always look for the special. Last time I had Lamb tacos, they were very good. Everything I have eaten here taste like they have put a lot of work into. Even in the height of tourist season the prices are very reasonable. Every time I got food there the staff were very friendly, I love that! read more

Stayed a week at long sands and made sure to go a second time. The burgers have a great seasoning, I wish I could have one now.

OMG!!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE JUST GO!!! In full disclosure, it does not look like much from the outside. DO NOT LET THIS CHANGE YOUR MIND! I went here earlier today to get a burger. It was awesome! Just maybe, the best burger I have ever tasted (I am 51 years old). I plan on taking my 12 year old there in the next couple of days as she is the self proclaimed "Queen of Burgers". Can't wait to see her face when she bites into this one. Awesome, awesome, awesome! Don't miss this place. You will be sorry if you go to the other (more popular) burger joint (WW) nearby. This place is seriously legit. Don't blame me if it becomes your regular stop and you put on 20lbs in the next few months. At least you will enjoy the ride. read more

This place is amazing! We come down for business every week and wanted to try something new. We are glad he found moose burger as they've got some amazing burgers and also some great Mexican food! Moose Burgers was amazing!!! The best gluten free Crispy fried chicken sandwich a girl could ask for. Everything we ate was delicious, the fries and shakes! It's very hard to find delicious gluten free food and they did an amazing job. The service was also wonderful. I highly recommend and plan on driving back despite the hour long drive to get there! read more

Stopped in on our drive from Maine to CT when we were looking for something other than fast food. WOW! My husband and I have been to a lot of great restaurants (live in Milwaukee and spent a decade in Chicago) and this is easily one of the best burgers we've ever had. Both the interior and exterior are unassuming, low key with no frills, so we weren't entirely sure what to expect. So happy to have stumbled upon this GEM! They also have a great selection of local craft beers. Their menu is small; they serve tacos, burgers and hot dogs, but based on how amazing the burger was, I'm sure their interesting taco options are excellent too! read more

Place is unreal. I eat here atleast weekly, great food and great staff. Best burger in York hands down but everything else on the menu is right up there too read more

Burgers! Clean. Service quick & friendly. Good food! No long story needed! See you in September!

The burgers and fries are amazing! You should also check out St Joes- it's my favorite breakfast place

Great burgers with fresh, chef-inspired ingredients. Rare to get this kind of elevated flavors and craft ingredients at a casual burger and chicken counter service place. But Moose Burger pulls it off. Fav is The Moose burger (beef not moose) with cheese bacon and a sweet onion relish and mustard aioli. Torn between chocolate-coffee or aloha (pineapple) as best milkshake. Chicken sandwiches are gluten free --and so are the fries. Love love this place. read more

After lots of wonderful seafood in Maine, we decided we were up for some burgers. The options here are unique. Looking at the menu I settled on not a burger but a crispy chicken ranch sandwich and fries. Locally bottled root beer, too. We ate either a late lunch or a very early dinner...very good meal. Service with a smile and a kind word. Enjoyable experience. read more

This is a must go restaurant. The owner and staff were great people. The burger was hands down the best burger I ever had. The hot dog and tacos were great too. French fries cooked perfectly and delicious. I can't say enough about this place. If you are anywhere near York Maine you have to go here, it's that good. read more

The moose burger is a great spot, the double cheese burger with the grilled brioche bun is top notch Burgering. Good fries and tacos too.

We were looking for a light lunch as we traveled north from Boston up the coast line and found this place. The tacos hit the spot! The unique choice of flavors was awesome The staff and Jason were super friendly and we even got complimentary baskets of sweet potato fries and regular fries. Both were great but I would recommend the sweet potato ones. The friendly service made our lunch stop memorable. Don't let the outside appearance fool you. read more
