Way over priced and way way over salted. The burger size has increased so you no longer are forced to purchase a double for an upcharge. That being said the rest has gone down hill. Food was so salted it was barely edible. One of the simplest things, and most important things, to teach young kitchen staff is proper seasoning. However, from trying, burger, chicken sandwich, fries, and a frie special that came with a form of un-tender pulled pork, the taste that was most prevalent in the array of flavors would be SALT. This place is a hidden gem for sure. The name is misleading as they serve much more than burgers. I had the carne asada bowl and it was excellent, the meat was well portioned and tender, best rice and beans I ever had. It was awesome! Just maybe, the best burger I have ever tasted (I am 51 years old). I plan on taking my 12 year old there in the next couple of days as she is the self proclaimed "Queen of Burgers". Stopped in on our drive from Maine to CT when we were looking for something other than fast food. WOW! My husband and I have been to a lot of great restaurants (live in Milwaukee and spent a decade in Chicago) and this is easily one of the best burgers we've ever had. Both the interior and exterior are unassuming, low key with no frills, so we weren't entirely sure what to expect. So happy to have stumbled upon this GEM! They also have a great selection of local craft beers. But Moose Burger pulls it off. Fav is The Moose burger (beef not moose) with cheese bacon and a sweet onion relish and mustard aioli. The unique choice of flavors was awesome The staff and Jason were super friendly and we even got complimentary baskets of sweet potato fries and regular fries.
