blueberry maine pizza and apple pecan salad
Janice K.

Amazing service and food! We ordered the blueberry pizza, mortadella sandwich, and a salad. Tables were clean and there were plenty to choose from. The food came out quickly and tasted great! Pizza had a hot and crisp crust, great combo of flavors for the topping, and was a generous size. Sandwich was nice and warm, with crisp but soft on the inside bread, good pistachio cream. Really enjoyed the food, service was amazing and attentive, and enjoyed our whole experience there!

1 Blueberry "slice" and 1 pepperoni slice

My first time there- staff was great and made it comfortable even though I was new and wasn't quite sure how to order or what to order. I ended up getting their blueberry pizza- my boyfriend got a regular pepperoni. I'm pretty sure we both just got a "slice" which was a half of a pizza. It was the ones they had setting out. But they were not giving "I've sat out all day" they were both so fresh and delicious. The crust was unlike anything I've ever had for a pizza and I loved it! Blueberries on a pizza? A little Sus! But omg it was amazing. Nothing bad to say. 10/10. Okay done 9.9/10 only because the prices ARE a little steep. But that is no reason to not come here. Portion size is great, taste is great, customer service is great. I can't wait to go back

This is where we are the pizza. The restaurant is on the right.

Bit of old country charm. Pizza was delicious. There was a nice place to sit outside and eat it. The servers were very pleasant and fun to talk with.

Soprano Pizza

We are a west coast couple. We were traveling to New England for our nephew's wedding and decided to do a few extra days of sightseeing in the area. We did some research and decided to stay our first night in Kennebunk, Maine to explore the area. After a full day of airline travel, we checked into our cottage and were getting hangry for some dinner. We decided to find some comfort food and what's better than pizza. Looking through multiple reviews, we found Pinsa on Port Road. Upon arrival, we located an eclectic looking old yellow house that has been converted into a restaurant. We parked in their rear lot and found our way inside. It was a bit late, but we were immediately greeted by a sweet young lady server and an equally nice gentleman, who we discovered was the owner. They were both so nice and explained our options. We ordered a Caesar salad to share and the rectangular Soprano pizza, which included bacon, meatball, sausage, red onion, sauce, cheese and pepperoni. The salad and the dressing were good, the pizza was absolutely fantastic! The service was great as well. Nothing disappointed! If you are looking for a great pizza and experience in Kennebunk, Maine...give Pinsa a try. You won't regret it!

This tiny takeout pizzeria was in close walking distance to our lodging so decided to get takeout on our first night in town, a Friday. Most of the patrons seemed to be locals who called their orders in, but there still were a few, like us, that ordered at the counter. It took time because they were quite busy. There are not inside tables, but there are a few outside. Pinsa as we discovered is not just the name of the restaurant, but a style of hand-pressed pizza dough that has been part of Roman artisan baking and cooking for over 100 years. The crust was light, the toppings delicious and it now ranks as one of our favorite styles of pizza.

Amazing pizza and wonderful service!! Owners are super friendly and delightful. Pizza is authentic just like Italy. Visited twice in 1 day!!

Sandwiches were delicious. The focaccia was out of this world. I highly recommend the coto with truffle cream.

The menu is a great mix of drinks, desserts, and dessert-drink combos. A group of 5 of us arrived and waited about 10 minutes for spots at the bar. The inside is pretty small but optimized with both bar and booth seating. The decor is so cute and whimsical. I loved all of the details! The desserts are pricey (most are around $15-20), but the portions are big enough to share with at least 1 other person. I got the Chocolate Chip Cookie Royale, which really hit the sweet-salty spot with a warm choc chip cookie, salty sweet cream ice cream, salted caramel, sesame brittle, and tahini whipped cream. The savorier elements allowed me to keep eating and not get overwhelmed by sweetness. My friends got the vegan peach crumble and chocolate cake and enjoyed theirs as well. Come with your sweet tooth, and leave happy and satisfied!

I wish their website had a clear distinction on the dessert cafe and scoop shop. Between the dessert cafe menu being available and the shops being side by side and the website not being so discerning this is honestly the second time I've tried to go to the dessert shop and it being closed. To my dismay not only that but the lady scooping wasn't the friendliest person either since we drove out of the way we got some ice cream. We sampled a few. I got the goatcheese blackberry chamboard and it was tasty. As was the Cuban coffee, but YIKES. 2 small scoops was $17! I have no issue paying for ice cream, but for a small being $8 and change, that is nutty even for me. And it was truly a small scoop- not like other New England scoop shops when a "small" is the size of a tennis ball. This was a true small. Imma pass

Our server was very friendly and was happy to answer any questions we had as well as let us sample flavors. I got a small cup with a scoop of Maine Whoopie Pie and a scoop of Speculoos & Chocolate. The pretzel one had a caramel taste which I liked, and the whoopie pie was a vanilla base with chocolate cake--both were super tasty and creamy. I do wish it was a little bigger for the price but it was so good nonetheless. They have seating outdoors and it was a cool day out so we enjoyed our treats outside right by the boats. They also have a dessert bar next door serving desserts with alcohol, she said it'll be opening in a few weeks. Cool idea!

We loved the amazing flavors which were freshly made. Its a small place where you order at the window and they serve you at the next one. I am not sure if they have seating as well. There are some outdoor benches though. There was a queue when we reached here and rightly so. The blueberry pie seems to be the favorite among the locals and it tasted great. The portion was huge, we all ordered two scoops and realized it was too much to finish The only reason I am giving a 4 star was because my wife had ordered chocolate peanut butter flavor and was served chocolate chip and when we asked the servers they were rude about it and blamed it on us. Also, the servers did not have any idea if these ice creams had eggs in them. Overall definitely a must-try for the creaminess and fresh flavors but keep a good eye on what you order or else you might be served something different and you will be held responsible for it
