We had a great time here! Great location and easily walkable from Ogunquit's downtown area. We got 2 flights of different beers, and can honestly say we enjoyed them all. Favorites included their watermelon sour, blueberry delight, and the latchstring double IPA. We also got 2 pizzas, the sweet potato/ goat cheese and the mashed potato/ bacon/ red onion, which were excellent. There was only one server working when we went, but drinks and food came out so quickly, they were incredible! Looking forward to returning next time we are in town. read more

In response to a review by evy s, I was at the restaurant and there may be no pleasing 13 year olds. Service was very slow and there was an issue with one of the orders, the kitchen quickly replaced that order AND it was taken off of the bill. The server also apologized for the delays. There's really nothing more that you could ask for. Everyone enjoyed the food on that particular evening. We have been to this restaurant many times and have always enjoyed ourselves. The dining room is kind of loud, but that's okay because it drowns out the noises your own kids make. We have NEVER had to wait for a table, which is amazing in this area. There are a couple of major drawbacks, and no big positives that would make me go back. First off, the place has zero atmosphere. It's generic and industrial. It would be nice if there was a brewpub atmosphere or a wood-fired pizza atmosphere. Second, the restaurant was uncomfortably cold, so cold I'd not go there ever again. What a great local gem down the road from our cabin. We have had hits and misses with brew pubs and all around, this place hit the mark on food, beer and service. We shared the garlic mushroom pizza and salmon power bowl. Both were executed very well. Flavorful and nicely composed. The wings were great as well. We got the Nashville hot sauce on the side. Great flavor. The beers were very good. The jasmine Saison was delicious as well as the stout. Our server was great. Friendly and courteous. My family and I are in Ogunquit, ME for a weekend getaway. After a long day of activities at home, hot summer weather and a 2+ hour drive up, we settled in to our great accommodations at Juniper Hill (across the street from Brickyard Hollow). We were looking for a place within walking distance from our hotel. I write my reviews from the perspective of a wheelchair bound customer. Access To The Parking Lot Entrance: From our hotel across the street, we made our way down a very steep exit driveway. For this, I held on to the handles of my wife's wheelchair and made our way down to the flat crosswalk in the road. We crossed the street and headed to the right. We then wheeled (pushed) up a pretty healthy incline up to the facility. I realize most people might arrive in a vehicle and simply park in one of the handicap parking spaces. Indoors: The layout of the brewery is very open and easy to maneuver around in a wheelchair. Everything is on a single level, so that makes it easier. All tables we saw were low top tables vs. the typical high top tables in pubs or breweries. There were two bathrooms that we could see. The one I looked at had adequate ADA accommodations for a wheelchair user. There was a grab bar on the wall on the right side of the toilet and a bar across the back of the toilet wall. The sinks were lower and wide open underneath making it easy to wheel up to and use. The atmosphere was very much the louder brewery/pub type of ambience you'd expect. They did have some live music playing for a while but the louder radio kicked in after he was done. Food / Drinks: The food was delicious. We started out sharing the Three Brickyard Pretzels with Beer Cheese. They were nice and hot, fluffy/airy with a buttery/salty glaze on the them. I had the BH Burger and Fries, my son had the Fish Tacos with Fries and my wife had the Hot Pastrami sandwich with Fries. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium and was served on what seemed almost like a ciabatta roll. It had a bacon crumble, onion crisps, lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce. The fish tacos were "amazing" per my son and the haddock was a decent sized chunk per taco. My wife said the pastrami was really delicious as well. However, out of everything, we all thought the fries were to die for. My son had a diet pepsi, my wife had the Kolsch which we wasn't a huge fan of. I had the CTRL ALT Wheat, which being an IT guy I found that funny. I like my beer. I also tried a sample of the Blueberry Delight because I had no idea what a milkshake IPA was... not a huge fan. Service: Our waitress was Natalie and she was very friendly and took to our sense of humor pretty quickly. She was reasonable prompt with our drinks and food. We were so hopeful going here that there would be another spot we would enjoy in Ogunquit/Wells area. We went yesterday with 5 adults and 2 toddlers and it did not disappoint!! The place is nice and open with plenty of space. The staff was SO friendly and welcoming. We ordered crab cakes, a kids pizza, chicken tenders & fries, the strawberry salad and tacos. The food here might be good, but after an hour and twenty minutes waiting we decided to cut our losses and go someplace else. It wasn't even very busy, open tables everywhere, but clearly they were having some serious staffing issues. The staff that did exist, including the hostess, seemed much less interested in getting to-go orders out the door than dealing with the people waiting to eat inside. I can forgive staffing issues and long waits, but what made this so frustrating is we were told the wait was 20 minutes. After a half hour, we asked and they said it would only be 5 more minutes. 20 minutes later we asked again, and were told just another 5 minutes. Foolishly, we stayed there another half an hour after that and still nobody seemed to be paying attention to us. We had our 1-year old with us, so that made it extra challenging. If they had just said it was going to be an hour, we would have just left. It was incredibly frustrating to say the least. That said, maybe it was just a bad day, maybe somebody called in sick. But the way the staff handled the situation was not great. read more

Our last visit to Ogunquit we decided to eat at this casual pizza and brew pub place. Not a beer drinker, I was glad they had wines by the glass- and they are good wines and generous pours. We ordered a pizza- a 12 inch pie which we split. Our pizza was a red sauce pizza with sausage, cheese, mushrooms and peppers. It was a nice pizza with good crust. I have never taken the time to write a review, but was so shocked with the experience at this restaurant I felt it necessary. We were a party of 8 women who are just becoming friends. We asked for separate checks which could not be accommodated. Okay....so we asked for 2 checks of 4 to help with splitting in the end. Also, NO! I used my phone to calculate everyone's check at the end. Two of us asked to pay with cards. We were told we had to split the remaining amount down the middle. They were unable to put a different amount on each card! Never in my 60 years have I experienced this lack of customer service! We are assuming the one check for 8 people is because they put a 20 percent gratuity on parties of 8 or larger. Sad! We will never return! read more
