Pool Punch

Cute restaurant along the river. Food was delicious but I forgot to take a picture of my sandwich. My friends and I were in a rush to catch our train and the waitress tried to rush our orders so we can eat and catch our train. I got a fun drink called pool punch which was super good. The reason why I didn't give the 5 stars is because they never came by to refill our water..it was after my request did they see we needed more water. But other then that, everything was good. I got a fish "the dory" sandwich and the fish was very fresh.

Stopped in for lunch. I really enjoyed the lobster roll though I was hungry again in an hour or 2. My husband got the burger which he thought was average. We shared the moon pie ice cream dessert which was also average. The place was really cute, however, and the service was friendly.

Visited the Dory while staying at the Lodge on the Cove for Memorial Day weekend. We had dinner, service was good. The hot wings were great, only thing the blue cheese was on the watery side. Then had the lobster roll, so good and fresh, one of the better rolls I have had. Had the sparky drink also, but was not a huge fan, was very Limey.

Great little place. Good food. Really reasonably priced. Yummy drinks. Ping pong, bean bag toss. Poolside tables. A hidden gem!

Quiet, out of the way lunch spot with reasonable prices and excellent menu choices. Well worth the pleasant walk from town.

I don't really appreciate lobster so I ordered a hot dog. Mistake $3. The inside of Nunan's is so cool - a total nautical vibe, so our first mistake was not sitting inside. The lobster roll was tiny with only 4 pieces of lobster. Looking at what people inside ordered it was mostly whole lobster. Mistake #2 was not ordering whole lobsters. The hot dog also was tiny and simply boiled. Mistake #3 was not ordering something more substantial. The blueberry muffin and clan chowder were both very good. Our server was fantastic. Quick, cheerful. Cash only. To be fair we didn't sit in the right place or order the right food, but what we did order wasn't very good. If we come again, we'll give Nunan's another try but sit inside and order what the locals eat.

Even on our way out, the place still had plenty of seating. We ordered lobster and the members of our party that do not eat lobster ordered steak. The lobster was great. It's a great spot that has a good amount of books including highly anticipated releases and classics. They were also running a deal if you spent enough you could choose a book from their slightly used books which my wife got to grab a book from and it had some high quality barely used looking books on it! Was a great deal and the staff were all so friendly too. The big plus as you could guess from their name is besides being just a bookstore they also had a bar with a good craft beer tap list. Was a perfect stop for us to grab a beer before continuing our bookstore crawl! We are big fans of the bookstores who integrate of combine other businesses together. Who wouldn't love to grab their next book to read then without needing to leave can sit down and enjoy a beer while starting to read. A spot we will definitely return back to when we find ourselves in Portsmouth!

It has been quite a few years since I have been here and it was my wife's first time visiting. We…read morehave both had quite a few beers from them though and enjoyed them. I actually would go as far as saying they are underrated in talks of all the breweries in Maine. They have always been a brewery with a vast amount of variety in their styles they brew. Such as IPAs, fruited sours, porters, stouts, lagers, and so many more. Enough variety you could visit and all your party could find their style. They also deserve a lot of credit for being one of the first if not the first in the state to jump on the non-alcoholic train for beers. This has expanded to basically be as varied in style as their usual beers now. I actually enjoyed their NA Mexican Lager and it was delicious and would be a great option for those looking for NA beers. My wife grabbed their NA seltzer and enjoyed it as well. Since that expansion they have also moved into adaptogen beverages as well as CBD/THC drinks too. They keep expanding their portfolio while also doing what they already do so well! Also for non beer drinkers they did have some bourbon and other spirits available as well. Really great options for all who show up! They don't offer food themselves besides some free popcorn, which was seasoned perfectly! Although if feeling like more food swing in next door to Weathervine and grab some food before to pair with your drink. The bartender was very friendly and apologized when my first choice kicked and from his interactions with other patrons it is clear Woodland Farms cares about their customers! A spot my wife and I will make sure to return to sooner rather than later. You should check it out as well!

It doesn't matter what I order off of their menu, it never disappoints. This time around I tried the buffalo chicken dip as a starter. There was a good ratio of chips to dip and it brought a little more heat then the traditional sauce. For my meal, I got the chicken BLT wrap. This had some of their famous tenders inside. You got to pick if you wanted them coated and in what. This really hit the spot. If you know anything about their tenders, it's that you only need a couple to fill you up. They don't skimp on the size! Smoked makes the only cornbread muffin that I will even think about eating, so of course I had to get one of those too. If it wasn't weird to eat the accompanying butter by the spoonful, I would. The sweet cinnamon blend is amazing! Food wise, Smoked is a 5 star all day. I gave it a four this time around because the waitress completely forgot to put one of my friend's orders in. Besides the bartender, it seemed she was the only one on the floor. I'm sure she had a lot on her mind and it was purely a mistake, but still worth noting.

Located on Forest Avenue well north of downtown, it's a sports bar with a long bar, several TVs, impressive sports beer signage, and a barbecue-and-wings-heavy menu that has something for everyone. Fairly close to the classic tangy Buffalo, with some modifications to make it just different enough. A little salty, but it works. Exteriors more firm than crispy. Interiors ranged from slightly moist to full-on juicy, depending on the piece. Blue cheese was mild and creamy. No chunks. Overall, good.
