    Lemon chive lobster roll
    Alison B.

Beyond delicious food and fabulous service. Everything was delicious and the lobster was so well prepared. The lemon chive lobster roll was next level and lemon wasn't overpowering. Flatbreads and wings were delicious and kids liked the variety for them on the menu. And the highlight of the menu is the Lobster Poutine - which is smothered in lobster bisque. OMG. It's beyond words. Service was super attentive and helpful and I loved that it's very quiet so we could all talk and enjoy each other. We will be back. LOVE this place.

Walked from our village inn to this restaurant for dinner last night. It was so good! Nice atmosphere. Huge credit for the comfy chairs at our table. Our waitress was upbeat and helpful. My hubs had the fish n chip plate and I had the fish sandwich with fries. Servings were not only delicious, they were also generous portions. The fish is lightly breaded which we both prefer. Highly recommend this place.

We were a party of five and got seated right away, which was great. It was quite hot inside, but the staff was very kind, attentive, and quick with our orders. We had a mix of salads, sandwiches, fried pickles, and lobster rolls for lunch. Everything was fine, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. The prices were on the higher side, $30 for a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and fries, which felt a little steep for casual lunch. The portion sizes were pretty large, and the food was fresh and well-prepared.

What a great experience!! My girlfriends and I were on a weekend trip together to Peaks Island and rented a car to go exploring. Kennebunkport was super adorable, and we were starving. Alisson's was the perfect spot to stop for lunch! We ordered... probably everything! I ordered the lemon chive lobster roll which was delicious! Our server, Christopher, was super attentive. We were a larger group, and he did a great job keeping everything straight for all of us :) If I'm back in town, I'll definitely go back!

The service was great! Tacos were a very good size! And tasted yummy, just wish they had an option for for fried fish! The combo of lobster roll + soup + side is AMAZING and so worth it. You get the best of both worlds! However my lobster was cold.. I wish I would've known that, the bun was warm though. Not a fan of the pieces of lettuce. I didn't get the Mayo and opted for the butter! Fries were crunchy and a good amount of salt.

I visited Alisson's Restaurant during the Maine Day Ventures Foodie Tour. My friend and I were looking forward to dining here since we tried lobster at other locations in Kennebunkport. Our tour specifically covered lobster rolls. Alisson's delivered when it came to the variety of lobster roll choices. They offered three options. These included the traditional lobster roll, the lemon garlic lobster roll, and the lobster chowder roll. We ordered the traditional and lobster chowder rolls. I was so impressed with the serving size of the rolls. We had so much lobster meat as well as a hefty side of fries. Other side options included chips or Cole slaw. The pickles were amazing. I could've totally ate more. Friendly service and a large restaurant with available upstairs seating. Definitely check this place out. Alisson's gets an A+ for its lobster rolls.

Sat at the bar and had a cup of clam chowder and a cup of lobster bisque along with a hot toddy. The food was delicious and quick. Has a great diner vibe. Would definitely come back.

You don't think 1,000 reviews would lie to you, do you? As someone who lives far from any coast, I am admittedly not refined in my lobster tasting skills. However, after spending a week bouncing along the coast of Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, I think I might be growing a claw of my own. We had a lot of lobster on this trip - as one should - and I can confidently say the lobster rolls at Alisson's were #1. Better even than some at highly rated lobster pounds on the water. We had to wait ~30mins for a table, but I would wait 30 days if I can get these lobster rolls again. Server was friendly and helpful, and the place is spacious with an upstairs dining section as well. Also ordered some potato salad, since y'all reviewers said it was so good. Turns out you didn't lie about that, either. Would recommend. Stop reading, just go eat here.

Food was fast and delicious! Service excellent. We got on the waiting list through Yelp and walked right in. Highly recommend.

Loved the lobster poutine and the blueberry pie. We didn't get entrees but stopped here for a bite and to watch football and thought everything was amazing!! Our server was friendly and attentive!

We love walking through Kennebunkport and needed a place for lunch. We checked out some places and Alissons seemed to have the best menu. They had more food choices than other restaurants we looked at. It's clean, comfortable and the waitress we had was very nice and attentive. I wanted the hamburger and it was very good. My daughter had the lobster roll. It was very good too. We started with the clam Chowder. It was made different from others I've had. It was buttery, not creamy. Not sure if I would like it. I was wrong. It was very tasty! So happy I tried it. I am glad I came and will come back when in town again. You cannot go wrong!

    Classic Lobster Roll with Coleslaw

We stopped in for lunch at Alissons, a classic eatery in downtown Kennebunkport. I had been eyeing this place for a few years now, however whenever I would visit they would be closed for off-season--luckily this time they were open!! The outside has a rustic look, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how freshly renovated the inside was. They offer upstairs seating as well as downstairs, featuring a bar and many booths. I started with a cup of clam chowder which was super tasty. It was a little thick with a buttery taste. I also ordered the classic Maine Lobster Roll with coleslaw. The roll was buttery and the lobster was packed with mayo, making it super flavorful. The coleslaw was also super tasty and a good portion. On the side it came with dill pickles which I really enjoyed. Overall it was a great place for lunch after checking out all the local shops!

We were in KPT off season and many places are closed, but Alisson's was open and ready to serve us lunch. We were with some friends who follow a gluten free diet, and this restaurant has a GF menu specifically for those with that need. The restaurant has been around for a long time, and the hostess greeted us with a big smile and chose a window table upstairs for us. Nice view of Dock Square. We found service to be very friendly and efficient. I had a crab grilled cheese sandwich which was delicious. Generous portion of crab with cheese on a perfectly grilled sandwich. I chose the fries as a side, and I know I am very fussy about fries, and sadly these were weak. They were not fresh out of the fryer unfortunately and a bit soggy and limp. I also asked for a side of the deviled egg potato salad, which seemed to have lots of potential. I think it would have been a hit with me if the potatoes had been cooked just a tad longer for a softer bite. Everybody else at the table really enjoyed their choices. Nice drink menu, and one of the largest selctions of Bourbon I've ever seen! Overall a very nice and enjoyable lunch

I actually would go as far as saying they are underrated in talks of all the breweries in Maine. They have always been a brewery with a vast amount of variety in their styles they brew. Such as IPAs, fruited sours, porters, stouts, lagers, and so many more. Enough variety you could visit and all your party could find their style. They also deserve a lot of credit for being one of the first if not the first in the state to jump on the non-alcoholic train for beers. This has expanded to basically be as varied in style as their usual beers now. I actually enjoyed their NA Mexican Lager and it was delicious and would be a great option for those looking for NA beers. My wife grabbed their NA seltzer and enjoyed it as well. Since that expansion they have also moved into adaptogen beverages as well as CBD/THC drinks too. They keep expanding their portfolio while also doing what they already do so well! Also for non beer drinkers they did have some bourbon and other spirits available as well. Really great options for all who show up! They don't offer food themselves besides some free popcorn, which was seasoned perfectly! Although if feeling like more food swing in next door to Weathervine and grab some food before to pair with your drink. The bartender was very friendly and apologized when my first choice kicked and from his interactions with other patrons it is clear Woodland Farms cares about their customers! A spot my wife and I will make sure to return to sooner rather than later. You should check it out as well!

We also got the enchiladas, one spicy cheese and the other beef. These were okay, nothing crazy but enjoyable. However, the mixed grill was simply not worth the money. The sausage was over cooked, strip steak flavorless and the long short ribs were tough. The chicken was okay, but nothing better than anywhere else I've had grilled chicken before.
