After a long day traveling to Ogonquit from SFO, we needed some good food. The portions were huge but if you were as hungry as we were, we licked every crumb. So good I didn't have a chance to take photos of our food! We had the burger, cooked to order; it was cooked the way I expected it; medium rare and it was delicious! Go here and you will not be disappointed, read more

Food here was amazing. This was my first time to Ogunquit with friends and we stumbled on to this restaurant just steps away from the hotel we were staying. It was a busy night with a 45 minute wait but it was worth it. The service was great. All the employees were friendly. As for the food, the aromatic smells emanating from each plate were hard to miss. Granted, we were already hungry but we were not disappointed! We ordered "Big Bac" fries as a starter and we're pleasantly surprised at how zesty the sauce was. Think the ingredients in a Big Mac sauce, chopped pickles included, and then spread over fries. Yummy! I got Bourbon Marinated Steak tips with corn bread and baked beans. When the plate arrived, those steak tips were calling my name! The marinade was perfect. So savory and mouthwatering. The corn bread and baked beans weren't overly sweet but just enough, which I appreciated. One of my traveling companions ordered the Mac and Cheese with Beef Brisket. It was definitely enough for 2-3 portions! The pic does not do it justice on how large the portion is. Drinks were good too. I liked the Raspberry Lime Rickey. But the show stoppers really are the food. I will definitely come back on future trips! read more

BeachFire was pretty good. We went off season in October but were able to sit outside. They have a lovely section of outdoor seating and indoor. They have a propane fire pit outside. There is a small private parking lot. We were sat and greeted right away. Our server was great, patient, and able to make recommendations. The food was mostly good. They are known for bbq so we expected big things. The buffalo wings were fantastic. The fried pickle spears left a lot to desire and I'm a huge pickle fan. The breading fell off super easily and they were difficult to bite through. I was so excited for the bbq burger because it had pulled pork on it. The pulled pork was honestly boring and lacking sauce and seasoning. The burger itself was much better. The fries were also amazing. I would definitely come back and try more items! read more

The food here is amazing! For the price, you get a decent amount. The service is always been awesome. FYI, it does get busy and parking isn't plentiful, but be patient, someone will be leaving and they don't take reservations, so have patience if it's a long wait. We were told 45 minutes and less than 15, we were being seated. The fire pit out front is so awesome, warming and relaxing to sit around. They do have a bar to sit at if you like. They have high tables and regular seating. The menu has a variety to choose from, so it fits everyone. I recommend checking this place out! read more

Birthday celebration in one of my favorite New England towns, Ogunquit! Julia & I kicked off the weekend at @beachfire, where we devoured a smorgasbord of goodies. The smoked kielbasa, mac & cheese, & fried Brussels were must-haves. Our waitress Kaylee was fantastic, & the fireplace outside was the perfect touch. read more

We've never been treated more poorly by an establishment in our lives on July 4th after waiting almost an hour to be seated a few members of our party were at the bar. One member changed his mind after ordering something and asked for a different beer, before the beer was being served. The bearded bartender rudely responded by saying to only talk to him when our mind is made up which caused us to ask to speak to the manager who proceeded to defend him.and kick us out on 4th of July. We have a strong feeling that his attitude and the corresponding action was racially motivated as a party of 14 lost their dinner reservation cause the bartender and management have no sense of etiquette. Ended up.goimg across the street to Angelinas and had a wonderful experience. Don't waste your time here. read more

Oh god, where do I start...I was waiting in line for one of the restaurant's two single person bathrooms with paper thin doors. One of the cooks/chefs went in right in front of me. He did his business...likely a gnarly diarrhea/poop from the sound of it. After flushing, he turned on the sink for 1-2 seconds to wet his hands, shut it off, and then walked out... I have NEVER experienced this in my life and was honestly horrified! I brought it up with the wait staff and was quickly kicked out with my food packaged to go. I asked for a refund (since I wasn't going to eat food with an extra ingredient AKA poop particles). Long story short, I did not get a refund. What I got instead was rudemaxxing that degraded into name calling. Please do not give your hard-earned money to these A-holes. read more

The only reason I am not giving this place 1 star is because my parents enjoyed their meals for the most part.I unfortunately did not have the same experience. They charge $14 for the chicken tender appetizer and an additional $6 if you add a salad with it (you know,to make it a meal). There were 5 small tenders (each smaller than the pickle spear that came with my mom's meal) and I could have held the whole portion in one hand. Over all not worth the money and the service and ambiance wasn't anything great either . read more

Beach fire is one of my favorite spots when I come to Maine. The staff is always so consistent and friendly, and they are super attentive. Chuck is always there and the best bartender ever, despite another review saying otherwise. I love the specials they have during the off season, but even on season their prices are reasonable. I have tried many different things here and they're always great!! It does get very busy so make sure you plan ahead when you're coming, parking can also get iffy. read more

Whole restaurant was gluten free and they have the best chicken tenders ever!!! You had to come here and try their chicken tenders.

Came here for a quick lunch while visiting Ogunquit as "Beach Fire" was allegedly one of the top rated restaurants in town. It was a bit difficult to find parking on a busy Sunday afternoon, but we found a spot and headed in. The service was average, nothing to write home about. We were seated with five minutes of our arrival and the whole dining experience took close to 45 minutes total, which was standard. I'm not much of a seafood girl, so I opted for the "Rancher" sandwich which came with smoked chicken, bacon bits, melted cheese, mixed greens, tomato, and ranch. The smoked chicken was flavorful, but I would have preferred it to be just a simple slab of grilled chicken with pepper instead, because the smokiness was very overpowering. The homemade ranch, however, was extremely delicious and I yearned for a bottle to take home with me. The mixed greens added color and texture to the sandwich, which was appreciated. I also opted for a side of baked beans, which were delicious and had a bit of BBQ tang to them. Overall, the sandwich was decent but pretty messy, so make sure to have napkins nearby! We also ordered lobster rolls which sold at a market price of $29, which stood close to average for New England this season (I believe the range is $25-35). It was very tasty and fresh, but would have been served better warm instead of cold. The portion was fair, though the side dishes were bigger than the main course (as pictured). The fries were so-so, but the side caesar was one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had in my life. Beach Fire clearly knows how to do their dressings. Overall, I left satisfied and ready to take on Ogunquit! read more

Wow! I can't believe I've never been here. The food is AMAZING. The wings were so crispy and flavorful. The options for sides, never ending. Home cut fries yummy and crispy. The honey buffalo sauce was PERFECT. You can get a side strawberry salad that's as big as your head for $3 up charge with your meal. It was just great. Fast service, kind workers. LOVE. Will be back, and can not wait! read more

I tried the haddock chowder today. It wasn't loaded with fish, but it was very tasty.

I always enjoy my meals and service here. Great friendly service, drinks carefully made, friendly bartenders, and the best smoked+flash fried wings! Parking can be a challenge so come early! Also check out daily happy hour apps & drink specials. read more

I go to BeachFire frequently and have never been disappointed! I usually always stick to getting the Mac and cheese with brisket, not only is it delicious, but the portion is huge!! I've tried a few other things on the menu that were also great and also very generous portions, I always leave with multiple days worth of leftovers! I love it here and will definitely continue coming here, I 10/10 recommend! read more

AMAZING!!! We have been coming to OGT for 18 years and have never been here before. I admit we didn't know what we were getting into, and I'm lucky we came! The food is amazing. Great veggie burger, not from Sysco . Steak tips were excellent, fresh off the flame grill. My Mac and cheese was great, not too cheesy. Service was great, and our waitress was very helpful and good looking restaurant. TVs to watch, giant fire pit outside and picnic tables outdoors. Nice inside too. Come here if you're looking for great food a step away from Footbridge Beach. Just a heads up they are ticketing cars on the side street near the beach. read more

It was good after a hot day at the beach- a little dark but the burgers were good! I would absolutely recommend

Though I was happy they had gluten free options the rest was meh. My dish was warmish but not hot and the prosecco was pretty flat. We were celebrating so ordered it - maybe if not ordered regularly they should remove from menu. My pull pork mac and cheese though good did not come with a side of bbq sauce so very dry. They were very busy so the waitress never came back to see if we needed anything. Also VERY loud due to how busy they were. read more

Family found this place on the recommendation of our hotel clerk. We decided to try it. We went on a Thursday and ordered 2 of the $20 specials. My husband and I split one and then we also helped our son with his. My oldest got the grilled chicken sandwich and was happy. Their Brussels and sweet potato fries were delicious. Food was quick to arrive. Service was okay. Atmosphere was good inside, outside looks good but it was too cold to sit out there. read more

This is one of our favorite (non-seafood) places to eat in Ogunquit. The food is consistently excellent, the servers are consistently friendly, the portion sizes are generous (important after a physically active day outside!), and the prices are reasonable for the quality and portions. It's just a fun place to hang out too. Outdoor seating (weather permitting), TVs inside so you can catch a game if that's your thing. And if you have food allergies, you can feel safe eating here. My son and I have celiac and really appreciate that the cooks and servers understand and can accommodate our requests. We've eaten here many times over the years and never gotten sick (if you have celiac, you'll understand!). read more

BeachFire Bar & Grille, wow. This place is truly an incredible spot to eat, from the food to the location and quality service and dinning, this was incredible. This spot is definitely worth coming back to and without has some of the best food I've ever had. One of many highlights of our meal was the chicken wings. The chicken wings are incredibly and are worth ordering as many as possible. The smokiness flavor mixed with the crunchy outside and for filling inside blew us away. A must try. read more

We've been coming to Ogunquit for a while and typically we stay in town for meals, drinks and entertainment. We're so happy that we expanded our vacation radius and tried the BeachFire Bar & Grille. Part of me doesn't even want to post this as it may add an even larger following. Trust me, they have a following and there are many reasons for it! So we came here because we saw reviews about the wings and the reviews were spot on. Their wings are phenomenal! The smoke comes through without dominating the flavor and the habanero BBQ sauce has just the right heat without being too hot. We had to come back for their happy hour which is absolutely insane in a resort area. Seriously, $5 each for a Dinner DIPA and The Substance IPA? And the house salads with a few happy hour appetizers was more than enough to happily satisfy for dinner. We will be back often! read more

The food was pretty good but my brisket was a little dry. The outside was increasingly hot and there are no umbrellas available alongside the outside seats. Inside had an hour and a half wait so I highly recommend arriving early as both parking and seats fill up quickly. I encourage the establishment to provide umbrellas for those of us dying outside, heat stroke is a very serious concern. read more

Wow! One of my new favorite Ogunquit places! The food was soooo good. We got Mac and cheese (huge portions for kids and adults), kilbasa (yum but you have to like onions and mustard bc it's all over them), haddock sandwich (great), steak tips and tenders (steak tips were awesome, tenders were ok but had a weird spice), brisket (very good). The fries are DELICIOUS. Like Charlie's at the beach which are the best fries anywhere. Great sweet potato fries too. Nice service. Inside and outside seating. Tremendous!! This is a great spot to stop by for a drink or a bite to eat. I have been coming here since it opened and it keeps getting better! My favorites: The Beachfire Burger, Steak Tips, Ribs and chicken wings. Jared, the owner is always improving the menu which keeps it interesting for regular customers. I always look forward to seeing what new items he has come up with. Beachfire is a busy spot as there are repeat customers both locals and vacationers who come year after year, be patient and relax with a beer or a cocktail if they are busy. The bartenders and a lot of the staff have been there for a long time and are friendly to regulars as well as first-time patrons. It is fun to sit out at the firepit and have a drink and relax on a summer or fall night. read more

Felt very safe ordering and eating gluten free food here. Very knowledgeable staff and dedicated gf fryer and prep areas

It's a very cute vibe because it's like a house right near the beach and they have a fireplace outside. We sat down we got the food and it was ok. My wings didn't taste the best but they didn't taste the worst either but if you like that smokey taste you might really like them. My son got the mac and cheese and it came with a lot so that's the nice part because the kids meals are expensive including nothing but the service was okay. read more

Strangest experience tonight. Outside temp 78 and very sunny Asked for inside dining as outside tables have no umbrellas and the sun was HOT 30 minute wait - seated inside -- NO AC. IT WAS HOTTER INSIDE THAN OUTSIDE! We were miserable but felt even worse for the poor employees. The windows on the side were we we were seated were not open. The front doors were open- so I guess that means no AC for anyone seated inside. Disappointed. Server was great and food was good but it was way too hot inside to enjoy our meal.
