Peaches Prime is a solid neighborhood spot that delivers a really enjoyable dining experience overall. The food was well executed, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything felt comforting but elevated enough to justify the menu and price point. You can tell they put thought into both the ingredients and the presentation. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming without trying too hard, making it a great place for a relaxed dinner or a casual night out. Service was friendly and attentive, and while it wasn't flawless, it was good enough that it didn't take away from the experience. Not quite a perfect five for me, but definitely a strong four. I'd happily come back and recommend it to friends looking for a dependable, enjoyable meal in the neighborhood.

Great vibes and great food at Peaches! The welcome staff was great and got us a table promptly as we had a show to attend at the Brooklyn Paramount. We had the Branzino, salmon, short rib and grits, and fried chicken. All of the dishes were 10/10. Especially the short ribs and grits. Will be back for brunch in the future

We've tried other Peaches establishments and have always enjoyed the food. This newer location was no different. We easily got a table for Saturday night, and found service friendly and efficient and the food and drinks were good. The space itself is large and modern, though there was a doorknob missing on the entryway to the bathroom area which made things feels pretty run down (there is a disused food hall in the other side of the building which shares bathrooms). All said, we will return because the food and drinks were good. I hope they stick around in this space which admittedly seems kind of cursed - nothing seems to stick around for long for some reason. We had the Garlic Shrimp Scampi, Oxtail Fettucine and Short Ribs and Grits. The complimentary croquetas were tasty too. We also drank the Brownstone Punch and Marietta.

I think I forgot there was another Peaches restaurant! I'm still a fan of the OG in Bed Sty but I really like the layout and the fanciness of Prime ! My sorority held a private event here and they pull out all the stops ! While I didn't attend , the following day I was at the restaurant for dinner with friends . It's cozy and there's a bar on one side , with some high chairs and regular seating . I was able to be seated before my friend arrived but it was early for dinner . Not sure if your entire party needs to be there to be seated . I ordered a version of the French 75 and it was delish ! I wish I took a pic of the Caesar salad as it was the best I have ever had !! It was enough for one but also sharable . I had the oxtail fettuccine and it was delish ! I was torn between that and the shrimp and grits but in every location of Peaches I go to this is what I order so I got something different . Some things to remember . This is downtown Brooklyn . Nowhere to park unless you happen on a side spot and most drive around forever looking for a park . Take the train or the bus . It's on Ashland in Gotham Market . A block from Atlantic Terminal . I will definitely be back . Oh and they have take out .

We were able to walk in on the weekend and be seated immediately. The restaurant is large and clean. The service was good, but I did finish my water and nobody came around to refill it for awhile. We ordered the salmon cake, chicken and toast, and oxtail tagliatelle. The oxtail tagliatelle was my favorite with a good portion of oxtail. The salmon cake was good, but expensive. The french toast was not overlly sweet and the chicken was okay. Overall a decent spot for brunch, and even better that we were able to walk in on a weekend!

Absolutely loved Peaches Prime! Wonderful service - courteous, quick, and very accommodating by sitting us 30min ahead of our reservation time. The menu has some fabulous choices. Highly recommend the oxtail fettuccine - super tender meat in a flavorful bolognese sauce, the raw oysters - the chile crisp sauce is amazing, crunchy and with just the right amount of heat to enhance the oysters, and the beet salad - the herbed ricotta is delicious! Loved the modern interior as well.

I'll give this place a solid 3.5 if that was an option. Let's get into why.... #1. We ordered calamari, oxtail fettuccine and the fried chicken with French toast. - the calamari was a no for me. It was fresh but too rubbery. The batter literally fell off of it once you bite into it. - oxtail fettuccine **please request some Parmesan cheese on the side so you can sprinkle on top. Overall this dish was good. Decent amount of oxtail. The gravy could have been thicker. It was watery, like the pasta and oxtail was swimming in it. Flavor was good. I would order again. - the fried chicken did nothing for me but baby the French toast was everything. Syrup wasn't even needed. Absolutely delicious. #2. Drinks- we had the rosemary sangria which was quite refreshing. We ordered the carafe that allowed my gf and I 2 drinks each and then we added an extra glass each. When I make my own sangria I plan on adding rosemary to it. #3. Service- friendly and attentive. No issues here. #4 Atmosphere- Spacious even though some tables are too close for my liking. Good thing it was raining outside and it was calm inside. You're actually able to hear others speak at your table. #5 Dessert- My homegirl order the sponge cake. I don't do dessert but it was A1. Not sweet at all. Peaches I'm not mad at you at all but there's some room for improvement when it comes to some food items. I'll try them again though

Stopped by for dinner before seeing my favorite band finally perform in the US for the first time in over a decade. Everything was just peachy (haha, get it?). The Broiled Lemon Sole came with so many plump, juicy pieces of crab in its spicy crab butter that I was afraid we'd ordered the wrong dish. The signature Oxtail Fettuccine was as umami, hearty and succulent as one could hope for, while our side of Whipped Potatoes was classic comfort. Even the Pound Cake with blueberries and whipped cream that we...pounded back (haha)...came perfectly warm and comforting. Restaurants like these that offer bistro-quality fare at izakaya-level prices are increasingly rare in NYC. That one should have such ample seating, beautiful decor and close proximity to a popular venue is even rarer. Color me happy. Or maybe that's just the afterglow of seeing the best band in the world tear down Brooklyn.

Came on a Friday evening with little expectations because this was a last minute find but one of the best decisions because it was amazing atmosphere and great service. I really enjoyed everything. We started off with a complimentary appetizer which was nice. We ordered the grilled octopus which consist of golden potatoes, kale, scallion, lemon, and harissa aioli. It was pretty good and not overcooked at all making it smooth and buttery. For the oxtail fettuccine, I liked the meat but pasta was too al dente. The star of the show was the CENTER CUT RIBEYE with Balsamic Red Onions, Whipped Potatoes Prime-1 Steak Sauce. I asked for medium rare and it was pretty good. The sauce was top tier which tied everything together. Also, I ordered the passion fruit lemonade which was super sour but I did not mind. Solid restaurant 5 out of 5.

Peaches Prime is located in downtown Brooklyn not far from the hotel where my relatives were staying. I thought the food was fabulous. I had Oysters Rockefeller, the Lemon Sole with spinach, the Butter Pound Cake and a Passionfruit drink. The food descriptions on the menu were spot on. They did not disappoint. The baked oysters did indeed have a crunchy coating along some tangy garlic and cream sauce. The lemon sole with spinach was both a tasty and healthy entree. I could have eaten the entire large slice of pound cake but I shared it. It was warmed and toasted on all sides, served up with blueberry compote and whip cream. It was delicious. To my surprise, it was even better than I expected. The passionfruit drink was great, too, for anyone looking for a non-alcoholic beverage. Our server was, Nahuel, was wonderful. He was friendly, charming and helpful. The only drawbacks were the long wait times between each dish and the trains running underground. That's not on the wait staff. The food was worth the wait. The rumbling and vibrations of the trains underground took us a bit by surprise. At first, I thought it was an earthquake. We asked Nahuel about it. He said something humorous that made us laugh. We chalked it up to one of those "only in New York" sort of experiences. It is a lovely restaurant. The modern and peaceful vibe counter balances the experience of having trains rolling through under your feet.

02/21/25 From food, to ambiance to service A+ all around. First and foremost our server Gina was the best. Radiates exemplary customer services. Her menu knowledge was spot on and did not disappoint. She was warm, engaging and attention to details top notch. Enjoyed our Amuse Bouche. Appetizers; Octopus; one of thee best I've had. Cooked just right. Firm not too rubbery and taste was absolutely delicious. The sauce was chef's kiss. Shrimp Scampi: well seasoned firm and sauce super tasty. Toasted bread great accompaniment to dip and soak up the sauce. Oyster Rockefeller; crispy well seasoned and one of best I've had. The sautéed spinach complimented it well. Ricotta Toast. Not my favorite, however if you love beets and ricotta this dish is yours. Mains: Oxtail Fettuccine: Tasty well seasoned. It was pretty good, that amazing wow factor wasn't there'. But it a good selection. It didn't have that oxtail consistency I'm used to. But I can appreciate it was tender and well seasoned. Lemon Sole: stuffed with crab. Not a lemon person but the combination mouth pleasing to the palate. Definitely a winner for us. Peri Peri Branzino; interesting sauce. I wasn't a fan, however the meat minus the sauce was tender and flavorful. I would recommend to try at least once. Dessert: Key Lime Pie: Although not my think it was yummy and if you're a lover you will enjoy. Pound Cake: This had more of consistency of a muffin. The blueberry compote was a nice touch. But overall it felt like a blueberry muffin. Drinks: Passionfruit Margarita: a bit too tart needed something to balance out the passionfruit. Mocktail: Desert Pear Spritz. Refreshing and yummy. I can see alcohol added to make a great cocktail. Overall amazing experience I would definitely return.

Ok the spot is classy with a modern, minimalist aesthetic to it. The service was great, quick and just enough attention without being overbearing. The presentation of the food was chic and the taste didn't disappoint. The menu is more of a New American, not like the original Peaches.

Made a reservation for Saturday brunch with a friend and was instantly charmed upon arrival. I love the layout of the restaurant with the bistro tables facing inward-- it really feels like they are making the best use of the space. For food, my friend and I opted to share the french toast and the burger. The french toast was delicious, although dare I say the slab of butter they put on the top is a little too thick and too cold, so it's hard to get it to properly melt. The burger was good but nothing spectacular and I think they could have a much better bun. However, the fries were delicious! I got a flat white and my friend got a grapefruit juice. For the price, the sizes of the drinks fell flat, and my flat white was also too much like a cappuccino. Service was friendly but extremely slow to take our initial order, and our drinks then took 10 minutes to come out too.

Pan chicken we expected whole pieces of chicken but it was more like a thin chicken cutlet. We were, however, a bit disappointed over recent times that they pulled back from their original plan and stated mission of including the service charge in the cost--it both seemed worker forward and made the cost seem more reasonable, with service charge built into the fixed price. Now the cost seems like any other nice restaurant--far above and beyond the printed menu price. Don't get me wrong, it is exceptional dinner and still well worth it, but a mental adjustment. Their rotating dinner menu (fixed menu, now 3 and 5 course options for different price points) is a brilliant move, meaning you can find something seasonal and new and inventive every couple of weeks. We can't afford to come every two weeks, but we do look forward to the new menu release every two weeks to judge our level of temptation. I'd also note that they apply their same model to breakfast--it is slow service, without bar service as far as we could tell. It was dinner speed at a more bustling brunch time. The food was still stellar--delicious sourdough breakfast sandwich and fabulous spiced pumpkin waffle (even if I had to fight for the advertised maple syrup)--but the service painfully slow. It works over a four course dinner with cocktails, but feels a bit more interminable as you stare at your number for breakfast for 30+ minutes--I think they need to adjust their approach here. Overall we are so grateful to have this gem in our neighborhood--fabulous food, great service... truly some of the best food and service in a neighborhood lacking great options for both. I know we are all feeling tariffs and inflation and cost of living, but the pricing approach/change has moved it from a "let's see the new menu every two weeks" to a more occasional splurge, and I'd be wary of the breakfast/brunch experience if you aren't prepared for a very leisurely day.

Beignet - unexpected, I really kept expecting it to be sweet but I'd get hit with the olive tapenade instead. The texture is nice, but I was a bit confused. Jewel box tomatoes - bright, fresh, and light. The mostly neutral but slightly savory feta gelato was very unique. Risotto - creamy, but still a bit of texture on each grain of rice. I loved the sweetness from the corn and richness from the squash. The peppers were delicious pops of flavor. Mille feuille - light and refreshing cream with a flaky exterior. Definitely come on Tuesday to save $16 (if the discount continues in the future). $83 for a high end-ish four-course prix fixe (includes tax and automatic service charge) isn't too bad in terms of pricing.

But this is a reminder that no matter how good your cocktails are, no matter how delicious your food is, service is king, and a 20% automatic gratuity can often enable some pretty terrible staff management and lackadaisical attitudes. What a waste. I came here on Tuesday night with my top-tier chum to grab a drink before the Nets/Celtics game. I showed up about 15 minutes before she did and was able to secure two spots at the bar before her arrival. While I waited for her, I ordered a Dream Catcher, which sounded super tasty (Patron, and a lot of pineapple vibes)...and then I waited some more. The bartender was nice but she was just WAY too slow. She wasn't able to multitask and my drink literally took 10-15 minutes to make, which is just not acceptable, especially when it was clear it was the only one she was working on. It showed up a minute before my friend did, and my 15-minute head start was rendered completely moot. The other ominous development right from the start? While the bartender was slowly making the drink, two members of the waitstaff were just hanging out at the end of the bar playing on their phones. So already, it was clear that the support staff hadn't been managed/instructed to pitch in during periods of need. The drink itself was actually really good; it just took a ridiculous amount of time for her to make, which to me is both a strong indicator that you need to train her to do this quickly without losing the quality of the beverage and also ensuring that you have at least one other person helping her behind the bar. The bar itself was pretty packed and there wasn't a moment where she wasn't doing something. Read the room and get off your phone. That to me is an unforgiveable sin. When my friend showed up, she also ordered the Dream Catcher, and we got the Crab Rangoon and Shrimp Tempura apps to munch on. The apps came out pretty quickly and were really good - fried perfectly, which I think is the area where it's easy to overdo it and potentially ruin these items. Huge points there and made the service problems even more frustrating. We weren't provided with napkins/silverware to eat the apps, so my chum had to wander around the establishment looking for them (no one assisted her in that search). The slow bartending reared its head immediately and my chum also had to deal with a mystifying 15-minute wait for her cocktail. We had about 40 minutes to play with before we had to be at the game, but because the service was so mediocre, we couldn't risk it - so they missed out on a second drinks and apps. Just leaving money on the table. We were so disappointed walking out of there. A lot of the qualities you'd want to pre-game before an NBA matchup are here, and I didn't even get into the ambience, which was both pretty chill with dim lighting but also had a little electricity in it. They have a ton of good material to work with . But if you can't trust the staff to be engaged and provide quality hospitality, it doesn't really matter. We had a conversation about coming back here some other time potentially but they just don't deserve it. Also, if you're trying this hard to figure out a way to strategically have a good time at a bar, that's all you need to know - you've answered your own question. And when we saw the 20% gratuity added? Final slap in the face. Frankly, if you're going to do that, at the very least let us know when you hand us the bill that it's added on; it's so easy to miss in a darkened bar, and given the other issues I just can't give the benefit of the doubt there. But this is why automatic gratuities need to be abolished. The bartender and the rest of the staff have no incentive to roll up their sleeves and provide a positive experience - they're getting paid no matter what. Hopefully management really takes a step back to reconsider their stance here or at least improve the staffing so they don't take all of the legitimate positives here and throw them in the trash can. You should be building on the good stuff, not canceling it out.

It has an impecable NY vibe, super friendly service and a charming interior. When we went it was very busy, clearly a very well loved spot! Would come back on another trip to NY!

Greetings all, it's been a while but here I am. Let's talk about Emily a quant pizza restaurant…read morethat you could easily walk pass and not know what they sold. Today however it wasn't pizza that brought me here, it was the famous Emmy Burger. To begin with the atmosphere of the restaurant is dim lighting a few tables with a reasonable sized bar in the middle of the room. They also have an open kitchen concept where just past the bar you can see the cooks working. My server Inda was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. That's all for now, see you on my next review.
