Food is good, well seasoned. Service could be a bit better. Nice music, but very load, could barely hear. 7.5/10...would come again.
Service was very friendly. The AYCE is a good value if you make it so. Food was hit or miss. Crabs and wings were good. Everything else was just ok. It was a very slow night when we went so maybe that had something to do with it?
The service was amazing even offering to take our picture for $25! There were a lot of options of seafood to choose from! We had gotten the ayce including the lobster which was a must. The restaurant was very clean and wasnt crowded at all! It was pricy but very worth it~
This is my third time eating here and every time I go it's always a great experience from beginning to end stating with the service finish at the amazing food. I can honestly say the seafood is always fresh usually I'll get other foods but I learned my lesson and narrowed it down to me and S/o top 3 and then if we have room for more we order other items , this restaurant is all you can eat style the give you a menu with different options there's a lobster option as well that the price is higher per person we usually are okay with the regular menu so we have not tried the lobster as of yet , however the snow crab legs are fresh and the meat is super tender and sweet and the sauce combined w the butter dipping is like eating crab candy so delicious ! The shrimp are crack and peel but are seasoned so well flavor is dispersed perfectly through out the entire shrimps , my top favorite item on their menu is the crispy founder I can eat no joke about 4-5 alone it comes w a sauce that I usually combine tarter sauce with it and it taste absolutely amazing , the drinks are not unlimited so be mindful Of that when eating out here and depending on what you leave and wish to bring home the cost of the food isn't over priced or insane but it is cost effective if you have left overs and wish to bring it home .The restaurant is very well kept and clean and the lighting is soft and makes you feel comfy and ready to eat
Crab House was very busy on a Saturday so I strongly recommend making a reservation! Food: the food is well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The drinks will definitely get you lit off ONE!!!. The food comes out in family style and could order on different rounds. Service: the service is very fast. The buffet style the food comes out in good portions for everyone to have a bite. I would say the entrance and the host could be more welcoming and not too short with customers Ambiance: the design of this location has a lot of seating and decor is neat and warm. The entrance setup could be more welcoming. My overall scoring is 4.75 as the food and drinks are really good.
Came for a late lunch, early dinner and it was not many people. The owner of the establishment kept checking on our table. We didn't do the lobster deal since we're not much of a lobster fan. The side for the seafood was meh, wish they gave us an option to choose what we wanted for sauce.
Food: This restaurant offers an AYCE seafood meal for $90 per person (or $120 per person for unlimited lobster and lobster mac and cheese). The AYCE menu includes a variety of items including appetizers (broccoli, calamari, corn, iron steak, crab rangoon, clam chowder, fried rice, garlic noodles, chicken wings, spareribs, general Tso's chicken, spring rolls, edamame, french fries, and more) and main seafood entrees (steamed or hand breaded shrimp, blue crab, dungeness crab, snow crab legs, crawfish, salmon, seabass, mussels, steamed clams, raw oysters and clams, and more). The items I would recommend the most are iron steak, crab rangoon, blue crab, snow crab legs, and crawfish. The seafood is fresh, and if you love seafood, this AYCE meal is a good value for the variety and amount you get. There is no limit to how much you can order at a time; you can order as many rounds as you'd like. Service: Service is excellent here; staff are friendly and very attentive. They come to check on you throughout the meal and clear empty dishes. Food comes out very quickly after you place an order. The staff are also nice about giving you another menu to place another order. They are generous with their portions and food unlike other AYCE places that seem to not want you to order as much. Ambiance: The restaurant is big and spacious; seating is comfortable. There are tables and booths that can accommodate both small and large groups. The restaurant is kept clean, and the decor is very nice. During the warmer months, there's outdoor seating in Mongolian-style tents on the patio that overlooks Surf Avenue and Luna Park. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant if you like seafood!
This has been in my to-do list for a while and I finally checked it off. Went last night (Tuesday) for a date night at 8pm. The hostess meets you downstairs as you enter and direct you to the elevator to the 2nd floor. There were a few other groups in there celebrating birthdays and few other tables but it wasn't too busy/crowded. The ambiance/decor in there is really nice! Much nicer than I expected. Our server was Young, no not his age, that's his name lol. He was very attentive and explained the process simply. Everything came out hot, fresh, and sizzling, pretty much back to back. They gave a stand to hold the other dishes because everything can't fit in the table. I think the $90 is a good value, especially if you're able to make it through a good amount of dishes. If you want lobster/lobster dishes, the price is $125 instead of $90, still worth it in my opinion. The scorpion bowl drink for 2 was good and worth the $30. We ended up taking most of it to go because we couldn't finish it.
A lot of the dishes exceeded my expectations. Be ready for an all you can eat because they do not skimp on the portions! Stand outs of the evening were the snow crab in the Cajun sauce, the table bread, the scallops (my favorite), the iron steak and the Dungeness crab. I was not a fan of any of the shrimp dishes, which is why I deducted a point but overall the location is cute, right on Coney Island. The staff is fun and helpful and the food was top-notch for all you can eat location. Like most all you can eat buffets you cannot take food home, but they will charge you a fee if there are items you wish to take out.
These types of restaurants always confuse me, so here's how my experience ran - Here we go: ---------------------------------------------------------- Place is right on Surf Ave so be prepared to walk among the crowd of shady individuals to get to the front door. *Check in with Hostess #1 to confirm reservation. Next step, take the elevator, up *Hostess #2 re-confirms your reservation and finds and leads you to a table. *A gentleman hands you menus; One for food, one for drinks, along with a tiny pencil. He comes back to bring wet wipes, bibs, claw/shell crackers and our water. During all those trips he makes, he hopes you'll make an order. *Final trip, he picked up the menu paper that has our choices and took off towards the kitchen. *3 minutes pass and a lovely lady drops off Garlic bread and our drinks *2 more minutes pass and platter after platter after bamboo steamer after bamboo steamer get brought to the table; More than the table could hold. We were 3 bamboo steamers high filled with food. (*Good lawdy, I need a break from all this food!*) We start eating. Crackers in hand, napkins at the ready, butter ready to be dipped in - I'm set to go. (10 minutes pass) *A gentleman walks by with a FRESH, NEW menu, to place another order. (*Lawd Haft Mersey on our souls*) (15 minutes pass) *"Wanna order more?" --------------------------------------------------------- Inside of the restaurant is beautiful. Decór is minimalistic and modern. Clean. Bathrooms were spotless. Ambiance was calm. Background music playing was "Easy Listening". And most importantly, Cuisine: Super fresh fish. I am so serious. This stuff does NOT sit in the freezer for a year. I don't think this fish gets frozen, ever! It's crazy fresh, and very enjoyable. The items on the menu that were NOT "fish" (such as the chicken wings, the shrimp and garlic pasta, etc ) were not the best. And finally, we did not receive everything we ordered. We marked down on our order list 2 items that we never saw. If they didn't have anymore of those 2 items, we were never informed. We were just not served them. By the way, YES - You DO have to tip the wait staff a MINIMUM of 10% of your bill. End result: We WILL return in the future. Loved the fish, loved the restaurant
This place is a great pick if you're looking for a seafood feast. The all-you-can-eat setup is generous and the quality was better than expected. We ate a mix of seafood and a few other dishes and everything came out hot and delicious. The staff did a great job keeping things moving, and they were very attentive. It's definitely more of a "come hungry and stay a while" kind of spot. Good place for a group dinner when everyone's in the mood for seafood. The ultimate, dine on a Tuesday during your birthday month with a group of 4 or more adults, and your meal is completely free - even the day before or after your birthday.
This spot is perfect for all of the seafood lovers out there. They have a location in Manhattan also, but I stopped by this one in Coney Island. All of the seafood is fresh and flavorful and they also have other items like fried apps, steak, veggies and more to try. The Seafood AYCE price is $90 and the Lobster AYCE price is $125. I think the lobster add-on is worth it. Also, if you come in on a Tuesday during your birthday month with a party of four, the birthday person eats free! Service was quick and good and there's lots of booths inside for seating.

This place is a seafood lover's dream! I've been wanting to check out this place for awhile and I'm glad I finally got to try. We got the lobster AYCE for $125pp and they had so much variety and everything was made fresh to order. The portion sizes were generous and the quality of the seafood was great. I love the flavors of everything we got. The service was also amazing! So quick and efficient. My faves: - Fried Sea Bass w. Came to celebrate my birthday!! Had a wonderful experience. During my visit at Crab House Brooklyn. Just keep in mind if you are celebrating a birthday a valid id have to be shown and it has to be on your actual Birthday or 1 day later for the promotion. Also must be 4 or more guest in attendance. The food we order was all fresh and flavorful very hot and nice. The corn, edamame, fried chicken, crab legs, broccoli and lo mein was my favorite. I had the scorpion bowl drink which was very good and could served 4 people honestly. We enjoyed the Happy Birthday Robot and all the staff that came together to Sing Us Happy Birthday!! Felt welcome and the joy!! Overall it's a wonderful restaurant to enjoy delicious fresh hot food. Good for groups and accommodating for groups. read more

The service was excellent The food was decent too until noticing.... are proper cleaning standards being enforced? There is black mold on the bamboo trays that can get people sick even though it is covered with wax paper. read more

I'm a fan of crab house!! You can get unlimited seafood like crab legs, scallops, oysters, shrimp, calamari & more! The staff was super attentive and friendly too. AYCE Prices: - Seafood Buffet (doesn't include lobster)- $80 - Lobster Buffet - $115 What we loved: - Meaty crawfish - Sweet chili shrimp (our fave!) - Fried flounder - crispy & tender - Super soft scallops - Fresh raw oysters & clams - The lobster cakes were flavorful and super yummmy esp with the dip! - The Scorpion Bowl ($30) is giganticcc and lit in the center. Family style eats! Stopped at crab house brooklyn for a bite and left stuffed and with left overs. Everything was flavorful, fresh and fantastic. We had grab legs in garlic butter, the shrimps were juicy, brocolli in brown sauce, shrimp friend rice and mussels. Crab house is located just around the corner from the Coney Island train station. It is located on the second floor and at the time of our dining was accessible only by elevator. We were greeted promptly by the hostess who confirmed our reservation and showed us to our booth. The restuarant was clean, spacious, and was classier than we had expected. The service was quick and our waiter did a great job explaining to us which items were included in just the seafood buffet and which items were for the additional lobster buffet (it was four items on the bottom left corner of the menu). We were given bread to start and a plate full of different sauces and lemons. The food came quick and was delicious. We were able to try most of the items we wanted to try on the menu, though I would say skip the shrimp if you want to get the most bang for your buck. The scallops, iron steak, and both dungeness and snow crab legs are definite must trys. A little pricey and probably not the best for your health, this place is definitely reserved for special occasions. There was a lot of salt and old bay in the dishes but that was what made them delicious. read more

Made reservations for 9:00 pm. Arrived at 8:45 and checked in with the young drunk lady with broken foot. Waited til approximately 9:30 to be let in. Several other couples and groups were let in. With and without reservations. When we questioned the young drunk lady, she said why you didn't tell me you had reservations. We did. You told us to wait. Nevertheless, by the time we got seated. The food was rushed. The kitchen was closing pretty soon. The food was a slight notch above mediocre. Probably my last time patronizing this establishment. read more

I love good seafood, and this spot was it! When I arrived I parked on th3 street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. I sat at a bother was served by a nice server. I started with the red wine. I then ordered many things: Scallop salmon fried seabass shrimp dungeness crab spicy Lobster claw Lobster and garlic butter Snow Crabs Fried Lobster spicy shrimp Lobster cake raw oyster and clam crispy flounder garlic shrimp Everything was actually delicious! Came here yesterday for my mom's 80th birthday celebration. We were a group of 14 + 5 kids. Got here at 6pm. Our hostess was Star. She was amazing! Extremely professional & patient. Food was good. My favorite was the scallops & crab legs. We had some of everything on the list. I heard the mixed drinks were strong & good. Left here at about 9:30 with full stomachs and smiles. read more

I really appreciated the amazing service! Everyone was super kind and offered many recommendations on what to try. The area was super clean. they also have a Tuesday Night Free Birthday Meal offer where the birthday person eats free with a group of 4 or more adults this offer is only available on any Tuesday during your birthday month. For the birthday offer, it also works within one day of your actual birthday (i.e day before, day of, and day after). Prices: Seafood AYCE price: $90 Lobster AYCE price: $125 The food is super good! My favorite was definitely the scallops and the lobster. Don't skip out on the fries, stir fried noodles or the broccoli because those were extremely flavorful. Located right on Surf Ave, this spot is a true gem for anyone craving fresh, flavorful seafood with an unbeatable view. We went for the Lobster AYCE ($125) and it was absolutely delicious! From juicy lobster tails to perfectly seasoned crab legs and more, every bite was a treat. The quality and variety were spot-on, and everything was cooked to perfection. To pair with the meal, we had their Signature Bowl cocktail - Scorpio Bowl for 2 , which was super fun and refreshing. I also tried the Lychee Passion Drink (purée lychee, vodka, and grenadine) and highly recommend it , so light, fruity, and dangerously good! read more

For 2 hours you get to eat all the seafood that you can handle! It's $80 per person but you can choose the upgraded option if you want lobster for $115 a person. I love shrimp so I tried 4 different kinds (my fave was the sweet chili). But during my overall visit my favorites were the sizzling scallops, salmon, lobster Mac and cheese, the whole fish, clams, lobster claws, shrimp fried rice, the calamari and of course the buttery whole lobster! When I tell you the service was QUICK, believe me it was quick. Our servers were attentive and helpful with the best options to pick and pacing out our food options. As for drinks, I would definitely try the Hennessy sour if you want something to pack a punch. I came here on a Friday during Lent so this was a perfect place to come eat seafood. We did we opted for the $85 meal and with lobster all you can eat it $115. We Really enjoyed the food. We did have some leftovers and was charged very little surprisingly for the amout that we had. To order they give you menu for checklist and as you eat, they bring all the items. I recommend the lobster cakes, scallops, shrimp, fried rice, and the Dungeness crab. The majority of the seatings are booth style, so it's cool that you have your privacy as you devour all this food that they bring to you. read more

Great first experience! 90$ per person for the buffet minus the lobster. We didn't get the lobster buffet because there was a lot to choose from with the regular buffet menu. We tried mostly everything-- service was so quick and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who likes seafood !! There's a bib, napkins, and a small trash can at every table for convenience. We definitely needed those napkins! If you don't mind eating in a quiet space, going afternoon (2-4pm) would be good. There was barely anyone at the restaurant during those hours which was nice. Some things on the menu that we loved: - spicy shrimp - seabass - snow crabs - scallop - crab Rangoon - spicy crab - iron steak I wouldn't recommend the noodles or fried chicken read more

This place is definitely not your seafood buffet! I went for a date night, and I'm so glad we made the trip to Brooklyn. The food was amazing, but the service was even better. Our waitress, Star, was super sweet and gave great recommendations (which helped since I'm so indecisive). The lobster all you can eat was so worth it--honestly, they could charge more for how good and filling it was. Drinks were on point too! My favorite was the scorpion. Is this place ghetto?
If it is, you can't tell because you have no contact with other patrons. This is a contact-less buffet so you don't have to leave your seat to acquire your food.
What's the time limit and eating the all you can eat?
They told me, when I asked this very question, "within reason". They didn't quote an actual specific timeframe.

Regular Street Parking Only. There are parking lots around the corner on West 12th I think.
How does the free birthday meal work?
I don't know as I missed it. I think they still offer it with 4 or people with birthday boy/girl on the same day.
