A huge selection of oysters and clams. Service is excellent. The steak and lobster was amazing

Came here with my local mama crew to celebrate a birthday on a Sunday night around 6 PM. We were a party of 6 and surprisingly had no trouble getting seated--even with our last-minute planning! If your friends and family love seafood and cocktails, look no further. For $98 per person (or a bit less if you're paying all cash ), you get all you can eat AND cocktails! And they don't water those drinks down! They had a great variety of seafood. I loved the AYCE oysters--super fresh--and everyone also gets a full lobster, blue crab, jumbo oyster, and the most amazing foie gras toast. The standouts for me were the jumbo cocktail shrimp, truffle fries, salmon sashimi, and shockingly good pasta and mozzarella sticks. Only misses were the cooked jumbo oyster, and the desserts--cheesecake and tiramisu were dry. But the chocolate lava cake is a must have! Overall laid-back vibe, friendly staff, and a fun spot for a group outting. Definitely coming back for the next special occasion!

Definitely worth coming here for the happy hour! Last time I ate Japanese oysters I paid over 20 dollars for 4 oysters, half dozen here is even less than that. I also really enjoyed the salmon tartare, it was very light and paired wonderfully with the caviar on top. I usually don't like dill with salmon but they pulled it off nicely. Also when you come make sure to try the quesadilla! Its filled with angus beef and cheese but the real star is the crispy tortilla, I didn't think this would be that tasty. We ordered a bunch of things and ate to our hearts content. If this meal was in Manhattan we would have paid at least double! Worth making the trip out here; N train is a 5 minute walk.

This is our go to date night place. We love the aesthetics and ambiance in this place. Oysters and clam is always fresh and new! We also love the steak here and cocktails! Must go to place if you are around Bensonhurst/Bayridge! Service is very nice and accommodating staff!

I got oysters and Clams raw and baked. The raw clams are extremely good and fresh and chewing (highly recommend). Rarely I see restaurant in NY has streamers. The feeling of peeling to the end is so addicting. Pasta is good with Alfredo sauce. I enjoyed all the appetizer to share with my family from wings to Nori trio to shrimp tempura to tots. We made reservation before we went and our table was ready already. Service is fast and efficient. Environment is smoothly low lighted.

Great service, our server really helped us choosing what oysters we wanted to try. He recommended the Washington and Shikugo, we enjoyed both but the Shikugo are really great. We also got the mussels in white wine sauce. The whole place was a vibe, they have cushiony lounge chairs, kinda like outside chairs so it was a really chill spot with nice decor.

11.25.2023 @7:28pm Saturday Walk-in table for 4. Sat same table as last time. One server on the house today and I can see he's trying his best to serve 4 tables at the same time. We ordered the same things as last time without the samplers dish. 3 dozens type of oysters ,1/2 dozen little neck clams and a steamer, as usual not the best freshness. Kajun Wing was good, it would be better if the meat wasn't as tight as over cooked. The Uni pasta and 24oz ribeyes was a lot better than last time with no complaint.

I had made a reservation for 6 people on a Friday night and not many people were there, but it started to get busy after some time. They have happy hour oysters from 5-8 daily, but they run out of certain types after some time. With this said, we ordered all their oysters and clams. After trying the variety, we decided on the little neck clams, at least that's what we thought they were! One staff had no idea which clam was what type, and gave us the wrong information. When the second round came out, it wasn't what we wanted, so we ordered again, only to find out they ran out. Please educate the staff so they know what they're serving. The pina coladas came in an actual pineapple, which was a nice touch. Everything else was lackluster. The 42oz long island was 60% ice and wasn't worth it at all. Not only that, half of us got food poisoning from eating here. You have been warned.

I came here after work on my birthday to celebrate and as soon as I walked in they asked if we have reservation. I said no (didn't need reservation the last time I was here) and we were taken to the front instead of the empty couch seats in the back. Then, when I was ordering I was told there are no happy hour on oysters during "all you can eat" promotion (even though their website still saying happy hour 5-8:30PM, shown in screenshot, taken the same day) Despite that I stayed. I asked for soda and they didn't have the flavors I want. I'm not sure what they have at this point. This is my second time here, the first time everything was pleasant I honestly don't know what happened. They're really trying to push their so called "all you can eat" and honestly if I want all you can eat I'll just go to the hotpot place nearby. Nobody coming here to do all you can eat. Conclusion, this place is nasty for their misinformation and refusing to honor their happy hours.

Decent place to come get some drinks and food with a group of friends. I've visited twice and it was never super busy, so we were always seated immediately. I recommend getting their raw oysters and clams. They are pretty fresh and decently sized too. They offer a variety of flavors for their chicken wings; basically have a sauce that can cater to everyone's spice levels. We also tried their baked clams; I honestly would pass on that. It tasted more broiled than baked. I expected there to be some bread crumbs sprinkled on top to make the clams extra crispy, but with just the cheese, it didn't sit right with me. As for their drinks, they aren't really strong. I feel like I'm drinking juice more than the alcohol. If I'm paying more than $10 for an alcoholic drink, I'd expect a stronger taste. I did enjoy their watermelon soju though. I don't think they add any extra sugar or anything to the watermelon juice, so the drink isn't super sweet overall. Just a heads up, there is a 20% gratuity fee automatically added to your bill, so make sure to keep your eye out for that.

Nice spot for oysters and clams, just $1.25 each during Happy Hour! My friends and I got a dozen each of Blue Point, Little Neck and Cherrystone - Cherrystone was definitely our favorite as it was very fresh and meaty. However, I'm giving this place 3 stars due to the wait for the food and the portion size relative to price. My friends and I came here on a Saturday night - there was no line but it was still pretty packed inside. We were seated immediately and the waitress was very friendly and patient with our order. Our drinks came after ~20 minutes (they forgot my beer but remembered to get my friend, who didn't order a drink, a glass of water) and the food came about 35 minutes later. We were disappointed with the pasta - for the price that they charge, we were either expecting either a large portion and/or amazing flavors but it was just small and palatable. The fries also came very late and we had to remind them that we ordered it. Overall, nice spot for Happy Hour oysters and clams but I would not order anything else from the menu.

My new favorite restaurant…read more The food was good, fresh, presumably well-sourced based on taste, and a very fair value. The restaurant is not overly expensive -- the $65.00 lunch bill below suggests a high-end selection and/or apps. I had a pineapple mint lemonade, sea bass on saffron risotto, a lovely salad topped with potato gnocchi, and cake dessert for $85 inclusive of 20% tip and tax. Nearly everything tasted fresh and homemade. Worth it. If this were served in Restaurant Row, the bill would be $40 more and the food not nearly as good. Because Beets & Carrots offers something rare and startlingly somehow in decline: food that tastes like food the body happily accepts as such. They serve meals that stand out simply because they taste like food. It was nice to dine outside the home feeling confident no digestive issues, lethargy, brain fog, bloating, etc were around the corner. You can tell that someone health conscious who cares about how ingredients show up in the meal is in the kitchen, someone who thinks food is both very fun and very serious. Least favorite: The lemonade. Mostly personal preference here, as I prefer a much tarter, less watery lemonade with higher lemon:water volume ratio. But I think most people would like it; I would get it again. Favorite: Both the entree and salad (which surprised me with a deliciously simple horseradish dressing) were great, but the bass wins in my book. Skin crisped to perfection...very flavorful fish and a great cut...creamy, perfect risotto. I appreciated that the risotto wasn't too salty as well.

You would never know what this place is due to lack of actual signage on it, and weakling by you'd think it's a grab and go of some kind BUT NOT AT ALL!! So the lobster new berg flavors were amazing I'd want to order it over and over but I will never again either . Portion is abnormally small, and for the price of 40$ you definitely would expect a lot more and also seems as if the lobster was also overly chopped and not enough in the dish . The burgers were great Stroganoff was amazing And the gnocchi the duck ragu But every item are over small in portions unfortunately So if you want greys flavors or even amazing flavors but are a light eater then this is your spot

I opted for the A1 Signature Poke with salmon, tuna and shrimp and my kiddo did a Create Your Own poke bowl. We were waiting for another order for my younger boys so we ate our bowls in the car. The cuts of fish in my bowl were great, tasted fresh and so good. I was a little iffy on the mango but trusted the process and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the mango chunks paired with everything else. The portions were generous and there was enough sauce for all the components. We even got 2 drinks to go, on the house which I thought was such a sweet gesture since it was pretty warm outside. Already wanting another poke bowl as I write this. I can't wait to be back. Highly recommend.

We ordered the chicken liver mousse, crispy potato tart, and burger. The chicken liver mousse is a must order and something I get every time I come here, whether it is this location or the Park Slope one. The mousse itself is rich, creamy, savory, and packed with umami. I just wish it came with something better on the side. The pita was a little underwhelming and was not warmed all the way through. The crispy potato tart was excellent. The potato was super crispy, and a bite with the salmon, egg, sour cream, and potato together was perfect. The lightly dressed arugula helped cut through the richness and made for a nice palate cleanser. The burger looked pretty simple when it arrived, but it ended up being surprisingly good. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Overall, a great neighborhood spot and one I would happily come back to.
