Get to the Chase: Pros: 1) Amazing service! Our host/waitress always came by to make sure everything was ok and the food came out hot and fast! 2) We ordered 6 caipirinhas for 3 - cashew fruit (creamy and sweet, definitely give it a try), passion fruit, original, and mango...AALL were so good! Not stingy with the liquor, nice pleasant sweetness and not sickly sweet, and good balance with some tartness. Give an IV drip for the original with muddled limes cuz that was too good 3) For 3 we ordered 1 appetizer of fish croquetes, 1 Brazilian bbq platter for 2, and then 1 picanha steak with chimichurri. All of it was so good, with the meat really well cooked, and the flavor on POINT. Meat sweats, smiles, and full bellies 4) Bill came down to about $300 with 20% tip, so a bit on the pricy side, but so worth it...will definitely come back 5) Would say ideal to impress a date, family friendly, and good for a party of 4 Cons: 1) Place is a bit small, but cozy, otherwise no negatives

Came here on a Saturday at 6:30pm to celebrate a bday. The waitress was very nice to show me a place I can park the stroller and brought the kids plastic cups for water. I was surprised how empty it was but patrons definitely started coming in at 8pm. The ambiance was relaxing with the decor, dim lighting, and music. If I had to choose between their brunch or dinner, I would go with their dinner menu as that was more memorable for me. We had their Frito Mixto which included fresh tasting calamari, shrimp, and veggie strings, delicious pao de Brazil (cheesy bread a must), tuna tartare, and Brazillian BBQ ($96) which was enough for 3 adults with the variety of two steaks, chicken skewer, sausages, garlic bread, yuka fries, and rice and beans (esp if you are ordering a few appetizers). Everything was flavorful, and I love dipping the yucca fries in the spicy mayo sauce. The owner came out to ask if we enjoyed the food and informed us of their upcoming Wed $35 paint and sip event with min order of one app. Definitely nice to see small business owners hosting creative events too.

On the walk in, it's a small space but a nice setup. Intimate and low key. The waiter was also the bartender that day but she managed very well. She was helpful with choosing our food and explaining the different flavor caipirinhas. I was looking for a new happy hour spot but the menu made me want more than that. I had the caipirinha flight and of course a happy hour margarita. The food was really good, I enjoyed the wings although they we really spicy. I used the sauce from the frito misto to also dip the wings & that was really good too. Everything was crispy and flavorful. I would def come back again :)

It's pretty non busy in there. There was no one when we went one afternoon. You can't really find Brazilian in Southern Brooklyn so this place is almost like a hidden gem. It was my first time having ceviche and I didn't expect it to be liquidy. I usually hate plantain chips but it goes so well with the juices, shrimp, and onions etc... It had a bit of a kick to it- not spicy. The crab cake benedict was so good. The Hollandaise sauce was so yums, it went well with my fries. The portion looks small but it was pretty filling after eating the appetizer. The steak and eggs was a bit salty but they kindly remade it. I also wish the eggs were runny instead but it's okay.

This should be my sixth review and I love this place. Came here with friends visiting from Singapore and we had a very nice experience as always. The have beautiful shaded garden seating, friendly wait staff, great selection of food. You can order lunch, brunch or dinner, fair prices, high quality, awesome presentation, good wine and mixed drink selection and the restaurant is very clean. I highly recommend them for any occasion I do not think they will disappoint.

It was the long overdue that I finally came here and eat. First, love the ambiance, lately I notice restaurants are getting louder and since I am here to socialize with friends I get it but also the noise level in some places are crazy. Not here, they are casual and chill and I am able to hear myself talking lol. The drinks are excellent, the food is great. I was here with a friend whose parents are Portuguese and she said some of the dishes reminded her of her mom's cooking so I think that's an awesome compliment. Overall it is a nice place and next time I will try the entrees, we had drinks and share few appetizers this time.

Based on great reviews, I was anticipating brunching at this restaurant. On a cold April Saturday, our reservation was not necessary--from noon to 2pm, the place had a steady flow of customers and available tables. The restaurant is tiny--seats maybe at most 20 people. No tables bigger than 4 are available. Cozy ambiance. Relaxing music playing in the background. Soothing atmosphere to enjoy. Dimmed lighting probably creates an intimate feel during dinner time. One caveat: the entrance door was opening very often, and there was barely any heat on in the restaurant, so we were freezing the entire time. Food gets cold quickly. We were wearing our winter jackets to keep warm. Not ideal. Detracted a great deal from enjoying the experience, when you have to be shivering to keep warm. Nothing much to say about Service. Waitresses seemed aloof and weren't particularly talkative or warm. Was not expecting Manhattan prices: the bill was $100 for brunch for two, without drinks or tips. Certainly not a cheap treat, considering we did not order much. Disappointed that for the quality and quantity of food, we paid such exorbitant price. $17 crab cake appetizer was an utter waste of money. Two tiny crabcakes were completely bland. Barely any crab meat, all bread and vegetable stuffing. Huge chunks of potato instead of crab meat. No seasoning to at least create some flavor. Tasted like eating stale, damn, sad cloth. The avocado & mango chutney was much tastier and the highlight of this dish. How disappointing. $22 crab cake benedict was good, not counting crab cakes [read above comment]. Salad was light. Substituted home potatoes for sweet potato and regular fries. Both fries were delicious. We were not warned that substituting home potatoes for fries would be +$3. We were craving something new, so were recommended to try Brazilian Catupiry cheese bread, which is not indicated in the menu. Tiny bread balls stuffed with cheese were lovely--so easy to get carried away and eat a ton of those. However, $16 for 7 tiny balls was definitely pushing it.

Based on the burger I got, I'd give this place a 4 being that it was a decent burger but can't say it's one of the best that I've had. The bacon pieces were a bit too thick and hard for my liking but the flavor profile was great overall. Definitely want to come back to try other items on the menu!

I've had Sarava in my bookmarks for ages and thought today was a great day to finally pay a visit. I took my parents out for brunch and couldn't wish for a more perfect place. Sarava overs a very comforting and intimate atmosphere. It's not a huge place but is enough for a few tables, there was even a small group gathered in the back. I believes they even have a garden open, but I'd wait to go out there for a less humid weather. The food was simply amazing. Nothing disappointed - the lobster in the lobster avo benny was perfectly cooked, as were the eggs. The wagyu sliders were just the ride size; and the surf and turf burger was perfectly medium, and perfectly delicious and satisfying. The pop springs and pop hibiscus margarita were fresh, crisp, and delicious. I can't say enough about this place and would absolutely recommend it for a brunch or dinner to all my friends.

Very inviting, cute, intimate dining experience in Brooklyn. Service was very welcoming and attentive for our entire 3 hour visit. I was having dinner with a good friend I had not seen on 2 years. We never felt rushed, just very well taken care of. The chef even cam out to see how tables were doing. The menu is a good variety but not overwhelming. I had the crab appetizer and while I wish I knew it would be covered in cheese, it was so flavorful and filling. I had the shrimp entree served in a pumpkin and it was delicious. I am hard to please flavorwise if something isnt spicy, but this was very well seasoned and delicious! I tried my friend's truffle fries and they were perfection! The churros were heavenly, served with 2 different dipping sauces. Excellent service. Good portion sizes. Reasonable prices and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.

No snickering. This is largely because of the sweet customer service. A three star review for more…read morelike two star quality. It is not saying much for a city that really lacks in Mexican cuisine. To say I did not give this restaurant a fair shake is like saying I only went to an ice cream shop and only ordered the cone. I went all out there, which is maybe why I received the service I received, or maybe it is because I sat next to what appeared to be my server's children. Whatever the case, I was treated well here. Onto the food. The Sopa Azteca (their tortilla soup) is a nice change from what I had at a previous Mexican restaurant. I would like the portion to be bigger and more meat in it, but I like the Mexican spices and the variety here. It is quite enjoyable. The Queso Fundido should be called a Queso No Divertido. It was awful to eat, with lousy flavor and texture. This is the second time I have struck out with this appetizer. It is safe to say I am done ordering it in this city. Nobody does it right. The Paella is nice, but at its core has the essence of a nice dish. Some parts are full of tremendous flavor, and some parts are dry and bland. I ate this all out of necessity, and also because once I mixed the bland with the good it actually turned into something quite pleasant. The chicken enchiladas I ordered because it would not be fair to come here and pass up something Tex-Mex as an entree. The chicken is inconsistent, well cooked in some spots, dry in others. The salsa verde has a lot of kick here, but the side salad and charro beans nearly ruin the whole thing. At least the Mexican rice is fluffy and has great flavor. Speaking Spanish to the staff helped curry points in the service department. I like family owned businesses. Everybody was busy and on point. So what if the food does not wow, I have given more, for less. Hence why this is a three star review and not a two star review.

Every visit feels like catching up with an old friend who knows exactly how you like your salsa. That consistency is as comforting as it is rare in the city that never sleeps. Before we even flipped open the menu, they slid over complimentary chips and pico de gallo that set the bar impossibly high. The pico was bursting with bright, tangy tomatoes and cilantro, and those homemade chips were the perfect balance of crisp and salty. It was the kind of welcome that makes you cancel your other dinner plans on the spot. I went for the Taco de Birria made with brisket, and I swear the richest consomé I've ever tasted lived up to its name. Each taco got dunked into that deep, savory broth, then inhaled faster than a greased pig at a county fair. By taco number three, I was pretty sure I'd found my soulmate in molten cheese and slow-cooked meat form. 'The Man' ordered the Chicken Mole, which came with a generous scoop of rice and beans on the side. He sat back, took that first bite, and basically entered a state of pure food-induced bliss. Watching him lose track of time as he devoured every last drop of mole was its own kind of entertainment. We washed it all down with a Piña Margarita, along with another cocktail that leaned so hard into the tequila you could almost feel the agave fields. Add a Modelo on the side and you've got a drinks menu that doesn't play around. These aren't dainty sips--they're the kind that could very reasonably put hair on your chest. Service here is so personalized it's almost telepathic. We never waited more than a second for a refill or a check, and the staff felt like an invisible waitress on standby, ready to swoop in the moment we so much as blinked. We left a hefty tip without hesitation because they earned every penny. Las Margaritas on 3rd and 92nd isn't just our go-to--it's a staple. Whether we're craving tacos at home in our pajamas or settling in for a full sit-down dinner, we know they'll deliver every single time. Consider us regulars for life.

Tres leches and cakes are top-tier we're cake people, so churros didn't stand a chance. 2- Drinks? Tasty but super sugary and a tad pricey. Still, come for the food. Very complex flavors) and the Queen of the Desert (cool refreshing cucumber followed by a spicy heat in the back of your throat, grew on me over time). Food was also quite good. I enjoyed the truffle popcorn and I still have no idea how they made those lemongrass chicken ginger dumplings so yummy (I normally don't even like chicken dumplings bc they're usually not as juicy as pork, but these didn't have that problem). I love to support neighborhood gems because majority of restaurant owners here, love their clients, establish loyalty through cooking delicious food and provide consistent great customer service. I was in the mood for a " comfort food"breakfast, you know, eggs, avocado, mozzarella, tomato, deliciousness and I found it on the menu simply named "Breakfast Sandwich". Which consists of voila: Mozzarella, avocado, tomato jam, arugula, crispy bacon, dijonaise, sunny side up egg between multigrain toasts. I ordered this sans the bacon ( requested turkey bacon which they do not have). What arrived in my plate was this decadent open faced egg sandwich that looked delectable.. and was!! Let's first talk about the wheat toast: I tasted it naked and it simply melted in my mouth. The ingredients worked well together, perfect synchronicity. I used one half of the toast to sop up any fallen ingredients. Highly recommend! For a drink, I wanted something a bit different, thus, ordered the Mango Mint Peach tea, fruity with a hint of mint. Loved it and went well with the Sammy! It took about 10-15 minutes for us to get seated and the service was so friendly. There was so many delicious dishes and I decided to go with the lebanese skillet breakfast and a cappuccino. My friend got the pulled pork bowl and we decided to get the pancake to share. The dishes came out pretty quickly and at the same time. It was so hearty and filling and wasn't heavy at all. The pancake also had a great taste and crunch from the skillet. It wasn't sweet at all so it was easier to eat. The portions are perfect! The staff and ambiance are so lovely and I'm looking forward to trying the other dishes.
