Sashimi and oysters
Abbey N.

I had a party of 8. They didn't have a room or any rooms as a matter a fact. Seats were too close to each other. The table was too small. Couldn't fit all our plates and drinks and foods. The AC was not strong enough, considering you're eating HOT POT. Sweating while eating . Service was mid. Food took a bit longer to come out but i guess it's ok. our stove after an hr of eating ( no idea why ) Let's get talking about the food, there's a variety of options from seafood, meat, vegetables, and types noodles. Although there were specific seafoods that you CANNOT ORDER MULTIPLE OF TIMES. Such as Abalone and geoduck sashimi. The food quality is not great in my opinion, you cannot taste the broth, the food is not extremely fresh. the enoki mushrooms was not super clean. The sashimi platter they gave us was mad small. It may seem big but 90% all ice. I didn't come here to consume ice. I expected more. 4-5 pieces of different kinds of fish and literally 8 oysters (one per person) man, I can go else where to eat the more for a cheaper price There was all you can drink but not as many options. They didn't have bottled water Overall, I don't recommend this place especially for the price. $58.99 per person after tax and tips is about $75. You can definitely find/ get better food at other hot pot restaurants. (Also, they have a grade B for food inspection )

the most competitive price for AYCE seafood in NYC. currently lunch only $48.99+tax+tip, includes really large selection of seafood , sashimi and oysters. there are different types of shirmps including live shrimps. if you are fan of durian they usually have unlimited fresh cut durian and durian desserts. The service usually really good, fast and attentive, our plates were changed very frequent and refill are also super fast. The only problem this time is that I got upset stomach after the meal. The blue crab I ordered definitlely not fresh, i had one and it smell terrible and even the broth smells after cooking the crab. it was the last thing i put in so i didnt have to deal with the smelly broth.

Spicy Butter Broth and Pork Bone Broth

My first visit to this hotpot spot. It was decent. Pros -Free Parking is very nice since finding parking in 8th ave is always a struggle - AYCE for $58.99 pre tax and tip. Total $77 pp with everything - Unlimited drinks and durian if you are a fan. My friend is a durian lover so I am sacrificing myself for her lol - Seafood options were pretty good. Portions were smaller but I'm ok with that because I prefer to try more different things vs having too much of one thing -Very good service. The server was very attentive and always refilling soup and food for us Cons - No individual hotpot. It's one large pot split with 2 broth selection. This is okay if no more than 4 people otherwise it's not hygienic - The dessert options was ok. I wasn't impressed with the mango pudding or brown sugar pudding. The mochi is ok but my partner loves it so it's alright. Personally I'm a big fan of Laojie's dessert pudding - The broth wasn't flavorful. I picked the pork bone broth and it was ok. - The seating is very limited if you bring more than 4 people. All the tables fit max 4 to be comfortable. We saw the 8 seat table and it was very tight. Overall, if you are a seafood and durian fan then this is a good spot to check out. FYI, if you pay with cash, you get some other sushi options. If you have a friend's birthday, then in order to get some discount then you need to pay with cash and have at least 3 people as well. Always bring cash to get perks!!!

Service 10 stars! This ayce seafood hot pot is cleaner than the one on 64th Street. Food was fresh, lots variety.. Seats were a bit uncomfortable but they said they are working on new chairs/ booths.

Love this place. A good variety, mainly seafood. It's a bit pricey but since they have a good variety of seafood, it's worth it. They also have a promotion going on at the moment with $10 off during lunch time. They have great desserts available as well and a good variety of drinks. They also have sashimi available but with a limited variety of fish and ayce oysters! Place is clean and the sauce area is also well maintained. The servers are attentive and very friendly. The place is bright and tidy so I was able to see what I have inside the pot.

2nd time coming here. Last time was about 1 year ago and I think the experience and the food…read morequality got better! Went on Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of seating available. Because there wasn't a lot of ppl to tend to, the staff took care of us really well and the food came out SO FAST. Got the chicken and fish maw soup base as well as the tomato soup base. Both highly recommended!! When you start running out of soup base in the middle of your meal, the staff should refill your pot with the same soup base. For the chicken fish maw, it was always refilled with the same broth. But for the tomato broth though, it was a bit inconsistent... They refilled it once with tomato broth and then 2x they refilled it with a clear broth. Didn't bother us too much though so we didn't say anything. There were also a lot of promotions going on: 1) If you pay by cash, you get 1 free LAANKEE beverage per person! AND you get AYCE free dessert from their menu (dessert usually is extra $$). 2) If you post on social media, you get free Australian lobster. The Australian lobster was so good and meaty! Super worth it imo. AYCdrink from their 2 fridges. Not all drink are in both fridges, so check out both! Pro tip: there are thin plastic straws on the sides of the fridge to poke through the foil of the soy milk drinks! This is the only place I know of that does AYCE durian and their durian is so creamy and sweet! No bitterness at all. Last yr, they came frozen when we ordered it so we had to let it sit to defrost. But this time when we ordered, it was already defrosted and ready to eat!! We were so full from hotpot, but still managed to eat about 3 orders of it. So good! With tax and tip, it came out to $160 for 2 ppl, so $80pp. Definitely one of my favorite premium AYCE spots! But will only come once in a while since it's a bit pricey, but def worth it! *** JUST FYI though... on the receipt, the suggested tip that they list is POST-TAX. Just something to think about when paying.

The place is nice, loud but a good amount and the service was good. I have to say that the food was good till we got to the regular and razor clams which they were full of sand and impossible to be eaten. The mushrooms broth was good as well as the spicy one. I'm sorry to say thought that as soon as I was leaving the place I had to rush home cause something posoined me(same happened to my friend)and so I guess I don't have to write were we spent the rest of the night. Very unfortunate. I believe that for the 85$ I had to pay my experience should have been much much more positive and with a better ending. There are many other hot pot in Sunset Park,I suggest to pick a different one. Enjoy!

While it's a pricier meal, all the food that you get is well worth it. I really loved how many different kind of meat, seafood, veggies, and more that they have. The fact that it's all on skewers makes cooking and eating easy. It's truly such a wonderful dining experience. We came with a large party of 11 and we were more than satisfied. Everything was delicious and I love how easy it is to get more skewers on your own. They also have a large selection of drinks from soy milk to herbal teas. In the end, you also get ice cream although the flavors are pretty basic here. Note that if you pay in cash, you get free durian, which is nice and creamy.

Service 5/5: Friendly service. Because it wasn't too busy, the waitstaff were always attentive. Ambiance 5/5: Quiet, calm/warm lighting, music wasn't too loud. Felt like a private dining experience which I liked. Food 5/5: A lot of AYCE options. Almost everything is self serve but you have to ask for the meats. Can't comment on specific house made drinks since we didn't try any and their included soft drinks were more than enough. I wanted to come back for the stone crab which they sadly didn't have this time. They had blue crab and clams this time, so I'm assuming there might be some seasonal items. They also have new desserts on the house which were nice (See brown sugar rice cakes picture. These were too sweet for me but they were free so I can't complain).

We sat at a big table and it was the reservation for ten people in total. Service was okay-ish and somewhat attentive from semi-friendly staff. Hard to get a few napkins from staff, so ended up getting up myself to find them. But, it was also understandable since it was extremely busy during rush hours on a Saturday evening. Its ambiance felt spacious even though it could get crowded fast. The AYCE Pricing Tiers on Both Weekdays + Weekends: *Weekday Lunch Specials (Monday-Friday, Open to 4:00pm) - Hot Pot or BBQ: $20.99-$21.99 per adult - Both Hot Pot & BBQ: $26.99 per adult *Dinner, Weekends, & Holidays - Hot Pot or BBQ: $31.00-$32.99 per adult - Both Hot Pot & BBQ: $36.00-$37.00 per adult Everyone at the table must either do just hot pot, just K-BBQ or both. If doing both hot pot + K-BBQ, then it's $5 extra for each individual. The pricing is actually considered as typical like other Manhattan & Brooklyn spots. None of the drinks are included within the AYCE pricing, each drink is paid separately. There're discounts available towards children. But there were no kids with us at that time, everyone was an adult. We had chosen to do both hot pot & K-BBQ. $5 extra wasn't too bad to begin with. There's quite a variety of meats + seafood + fish balls + soybean products + noodles + veggies available from the menu. All of us wanted to try eating/grilling/cooking the ingredients in both ways. Additionally, the restaurant offered each patron an unlimited access to the self-serve Hot Appetizer Food + Fresh Fruits + Desserts + DIY Sauce Bar during the 2-hours. Hot appetizers such as sweet potato fries, fried chicken, fried dumplings or whatever options they'd offered on the day you decide to visit the location. Desserts like Hong Kong styled sweet soups and mango pomelo. Sauce Bar includes soy sauce, oyster sauce, hot sauce, peanut satay sauce, hoisin sauce, minced garlic, chopped green onions, cilantro, chili peppers, sesame oil etc. *There're currently 9 soup base varieties: - Thai Tom Yum + Mushroom (Vegetarian) + Healthy Herbs (Chicken Broth) + Japanese Miso + Szechuan Spicy + Korean Seafood Tofu + Gluten Free + Tomato (Vegetarian) + Golden Chicken (Kpot Special). I had selected Healthy Herbs as my soup base because it's non-spicy and has a creamy/milky taste. Additionally, it's not overly salty in any way. Packed with goji berries & red dates in a chicken-styled bone broth. My friend chose the Szechuan Spicy since she has a high tolerance level of spiciness. Packed with peppercorn + chili peppers + chicken/pork stock. Ordered different parts of beef/ribeye/briskets + salmon + lamb + fish balls + quail eggs + shrimps + oysters + clams + fish cakes + mini sausages + beef meatballs + lobster balls + fish roe bags + beef tripe + fried tofu skin + bean curd sticks + napa cabbage + spinach + watercress + corn cobs + sliced pumpkin + king mushroom + taro + enoki mushroom + pineapple + rice cake + udon. All the ingredients gave my Healthy Herbs Broth just the right amount of saltiness & savoriness it needed from the meat + seafood + veggies. My all-time hot pot favorites are the beef/ribeye/brisket + quail eggs + beef tripe + oysters + clams + shrimps + lobster balls. Same favorite ingredients for K-BBQ along with the salmon & pineapple slices. My friend's boyfriend mostly grilled the meat for us and then sometimes from the staff. Such a fun time to eat dinner with a group of friends together.

In the past, if you came in on your actual birthday, you could receive the birthday meal even if you were dining alone. I've always tipped 20%+ based on the full menu value and have also dined at your restaurants as a paying customer on many other occasions. When I arrived, a supervisor at the front told me the policy had changed and said I should have checked the website beforehand. I pulled up the website on the spot and showed her that it had not been updated to reflect the new policy. She acknowledged that the website was inaccurate, but simply shrugged. I politely explained that I had checked the website before making the trip and that it should be updated to avoid situations like this. Her demeanor then became noticeably dismissive. Being turned away on my birthday after commuting there and looking forward to dinner was unnecessarily frustrating and, frankly, felt a bit petty.
