My friend ordered the steak and shrimp skewers when they received the food the shrimp was raw was not cooked at all and they weren't gonna say anything so I had to step in and tell the server that the shrimp was raw which they recognized and they ended up bringing out cooked shrimp. Very weird. Doesn't seem like the healthiest thing to do for that. The fact that they didn't discount anything for that experience was wild too and it was hot as hell inside, I know it's summer but let's get a fan or something in to rotation. We came here for lunch, and both brunch and dinner menus were available, which gave us a lot of options to choose from. The space itself is spacious, and I loved that they offer both indoor and outdoor dining options. There's plenty of seating either way, and the atmosphere was lively when we visited. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was good, and you can tell a lot of thought goes into the sauces and little details. That said, the flavors were a little outside of what I was craving that day. I was looking for something light, bright, and refreshing, especially seafood. I ordered the scallop ceviche and completely missed that it came with a guanabana sauce, so it ended up being a much thicker, saucier ceviche than I expected. The scallops were fresh and the flavors were good, but I was really craving a more classic ceviche. I ordered another ceviche afterward, and while the fish was fresh, the pieces were chopped a little too small for my preference and it still wasn't quite what I was looking for. Some of the plantain chips were also a bit too hard to enjoy. The fried branzino was probably my favorite dish. The fish was very fresh, and I loved that the skin was left on. Personally, I think I would have enjoyed it even more with a creamier sauce instead of the chimichurri, but that's just a personal preference. My family and I came on a Wednesday evening without a reservation and were seated with no wait (the host let us know there was a 9pm reservation on our table, giving us 2 hours to dine.) For 3 people we ordered: the calamari, a lobster roll, a potato side dish, a small vegan paella and a chuzo salad. The food was good but not great - the calamari was nothing special, the lobster roll was a little over salted with the fries not fried enough, the potato dish had texture and the toppings on it had spice + acid, the salad was simple but refreshing, and the finally the vegan paella was well seasoned, strong tomato flavor in the rice and the vegetables were nicely charred. The ambiance of the restaurant felt summery, it was a little humid with a slight wind that evening and they had all doors open allowing the breeze to flow through their space beautifully. The biggest let down was their service. For a weeknight at prime dinner hour and not a very crowded night, it took an hour for our food to come out from the kitchen. The Scallop Crudo was equally impressive, silky smooth scallops with a citrusy, slightly sweet backdrop that let the quality of the fish shine. Rarely do I give 5 star revisit this place deserves it. Nestled on a quiet corner in Bay ridge, this place gives of family favorite neighborhood vibes. We sat outdoors on the side of the bar at a cool table underneath and umbrella. It's just what I needed on a cool summer day. They also have a drink, it's a Bay Ridge something - I forget the name - that is really nice with fresh fruit muddled in. I've had a few things here before, like their chorizo, and everything is on point. I love their skewers and the sides they come with, just don't dip it in that sauce. It isn't tongue friendly, it is friggen SPICY. I learned just HOW spicy the hard way... But I keep coming back for that tuna agua chile. I could drink the juice right off the plate. Now for the negatives, which should be an easy fix: the food is extremely salty and dry. My paella was dry (never had that happen before). One friend ordered the pork butt and said it was very dry too. We needed to keep drinking water because everything was so salty. We sat at the first table and kept being blown away by the wind... I hope in the winter they address the wind and cold issue - maybe with an exterior protective covering in front or they may not last - it's extremely uncomfortable to eat when freezing and having wind blow directly at you. My first visit to this restaurant very disappointed we ordered a lemon drop martini it was served not in a martini glass but a small martini shaped glass and charged $20 dollars two sips and it was gone.my entree a pork dish was terrible 4 very small pieces of pork one of the pieces was a ball of fat it was served with rice which was very salty I couldn't finish it I won't be going back read more

Overall, yummy food, nice location and setting, and great service. Something's to note from our experience were that the drinks were great, nice creative variety, not super expensive for the city, and a decent serving amount. Our top pick had to be the sweet plantain side. Easily could eat a few of those! The chuzos were tasty and the combo platter is a great deal with your choice of 3 different chuzos. The green sauce was yummy! We also had the shrimp ceviche to start and honestly this was the biggest let down... it felt way overpriced for the quantity and quality. No chips on the side and the shrimp were very small. We will definitely come back to try some of the other menu options.
