Went for a small celebration on a weekend with prior reservation. Interior is cozy and intimate in the back with bright covered patio area in the front for bigger celebrations. It was loud in the beginning , making it hard to converse or hear at the table, as speakers throughout the establishment were loudly transmitting the event with microphones that was happening in the front. Once that ended, we definitely enjoyed dinner more. Biggest highlights of the evening were drinks and service. Every drink we got was well balanced, flavorful and delicious, so kudos to the bartender! Our waiter and busboys were very attentive, friendly, and provided top notch service from start to finish. Dishes came out in timely manner and order, with restaurant service etiquette followed to a T. Food was good overall, fresh and well presented. Portion sizes are decent, everything priced according to location, quality and ambiance. Octopus was tender but didn't have any flavor and was outshined by delicious pesto & burrata in the salad, which was unfortunate as I was looking forward for it to be the start of the dish. Tartar could use more sauce (or salt) to tie all layers together. Bone marrow was delicious, definitely try a side of beef- it melts in the mouth and is a great addition. Duck vareniki was a bit small portion, with good filling/dough ration and the sauce was heavenly. Pizza crust was good but bland toppings made it uneventful. Steak and fish were cooked and seasoned to perfection, side salads were well seasoned and good pairings for protein. Desserts satisfied our sweet tooth after delicious dinner. The restaurant has a pretty nice party vibe with loud music and a wide variety of drinks and food options. The staff are friendly and quick to assist, whether it's getting you seated or placing your orders. My friend and I came here to celebrate my belated birthday after catching two movies at UA Sheepshead. Since it was around 12am, there weren't that many restaurants still open. However, One Elleven was open until 2am, which was perfect for us! Below is my analysis of the overall dining experience: Water proof - this is supposing a watermelon infused cocktail with hints of yuzu, but you definitely don't taste any of it; not the watermelon nor the yuzu. The drink tasted like a powered-up version of a liquid jolly rancher, which was both incredibly sweet and incredibly strong. Those flavors didn't compliment one another which made the drink difficult to swallow unfortunately. Definitely recommend trying some other drink since they do have many drink options available. Bone marrow appetizer - this was actually quite good, but it can be a hit or miss! My piece of bone marrow didn't have much, but as you can see in the picture, my friend's piece had a HUGE chunk, which looked and tasted rich as hell! Overall it's a decent price and the flavors are definitely there! Wagyu steak - this ain't no wagyu, at least not in the soft and melt-in-your-mouth kind of way. Tasted like a typical sirloin to me. Had decent flavor and was cooked exactly medium rare, but nothing much to rave about. Worth trying if you really like steak but it cuts a bit deep at 42 dollars. Beef rib - this dish was delicious! The truffle infused pasta were very flavorful and paired really well with the beef ribs! It also comes in a pretty big portion as well, so it will fill you up! Superb! I was unsure if I wanted to try the bone marrow because I recently had it at a different restaurant and it was horrible. However, I am soooo glad I ordered it at One Elleven because it was made to perfection. Seasoned wonderfully with so many different additions that make the dish just exquisite. So I highly recommend you get it. We also had the shishito peppers that were paired so perfectly with two different dipping sauces that made a great balance from the spice of the peppers. This place is very well decorated & tucked away from the hustle and bustle from emmons ave. The things that make it hard and you can overcome is the parking!!??? No valet. Sometimes by default you have to decide if you want a $120 ticket or $60 ticket because it's so rare to dine in the area (given or course the time of the year you-come). The place is well devoted in their decor. The dish choices were mixed with many options. The bartenders were awesome with making beautiful drinks for us! I personally wasn't sold on their Wagyu steak. Cut to thin, came out overcooked not taste of prior experience on enjoying a good wagyu steak, just call it a normal ribeye-steak! Pre-planning: The manager is EXCELLENT, her communication is superb and quite honestly, she was more diligent that me! Service: This is the main reason that I'm writing this review. EXCELLENT! Purely excellent when it came to service, everything was taken with a smile and the hospitality seemed effortless (even if we weren't the easiest party with 6 kiddos under age 7!) We came to One Elleven for lunch and absolutely loved this place! Starting with a cool relaxing vibe on a patio and very well designed bar/inside area to the outstanding food and service, this is definitely #1 go to destination in Brooklyn! We were greeted by a super nice hostess, she made sure we are comfortably seated In the shade , got iswater right away and collected our drinks order. It is important to mention that the bartender is actually trained mixologist and the drinks he makes are out of this world! ( see picture). We have ordered multiple appetizers and they were all delicious with no exception! The cuisine is American fusion / Eastern European. I would highly recommend chicken wings (deserve a review of its own!), fried tongue dish, duck and corn dumplings, bone marrow, lobster truffle Mac and cheese, lardon dish, pickled Herring sandwich. The service was impeccable, the staff was attentive, professional and very welcoming and nice. We can't wait to go back! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY!!! A COMPLETE AND TOTAL JOKE OF A RESTAURANT. My friend and I went to dinner last weekend. We ordered several appetizers, salads & entrees as well as a couple of drinks. At first glance, we thought it would be amazing because the menu looked spectacular. But immediately, we were left with a bad taste in our mouth. It took 10 minutes for a waiter to come up to us and ask us what we would like. As stated, we ordered many courses and to be fair, the only item worth our while was the beverage we ordered. All the appetizers came out at random times, our entrees came out, with no silverware or additional napkins. In addition, not once did anyone come up to ask if we needed anything or how our meal was. I waited 15 minutes for a fork to eat my now cold meal, until I had to get up and tell them I needed a fork. Oh and might I not forget, we never got our salads. An item that should have been presented to us first. Once I brought it to their attention, they gave us a Caesar salad AT THE END OF THE MEAL, after our entree. We paid close to $200 for horrible service, untimely food and to be honest, a very hostile atmosphere. Do not waste your time at this mediocre establishment. The food is subpar, the service was absolutely disgusting. I have ever dealt with in my life and the atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming. The only damn good thing was the alcoholic beverage which to be honest, was also a waste of money. There are so many other amazing Russian restaurants in Brooklyn. We ordered a few different dishes to try. The duck vareniki in mushroom sauce were out of this world and we ordered a second one for the table.
