DON'T GO HERE!! We usually have had great experiences here but our last visit was the last straw. We didn't have a real waiter and the "one" we had seemed rude and wasn't listening to our orders. My sisters order was completely wrong and the steak was dry along with the "vegetables" and "mashed potatoes" which weren't really mashed potatoes. Went Friday night for spouse Bday. Bread was stale and dry but editable if you put enough butter on it. I had teriyaki chicken - guess it's a bad sign when they serve thin chicken breasts with a steak knife. I needed it. Spouse had salmon over spinach. Salmon was not good. We have lived here for almost 3 years now and decided to take my daughter there for her 13th birthday dinner. I was extremely disappointed. When we first walked in we weren't greeted promptly. The servers and host thought personal conversation was more important than the customer. The lady asked if we had reservations and we said no. She rolled her eyes and sighed. I didn't understand because it wasn't busy at all. We sat and nobody came to get even our drink orders until over 5 minutes and then it took forever to get our drinks. We had somebody completely different bring our drinks and then a male came and said he would be our server. We ordered our dinner and my steak was ordered medium. It came out over cooked. Because nobody came to check on us....I didn't say anything. Neither one of my kids even finished their dinner. The funny thing is that the place wasn't even busy. We had another family in the back section with us. Very disappointed but even more disappointed that my daughters birthday dinner was ruined. Service was horrible and food was ok. I once ordered a burger for takeout and it was delicious. So I thought we'd go back for dinner one day, we went for Mother's Day. We waited over an hour, (and it really wasn't very busy at this point in the day)until we finally decided to ask where our food was. we saw other people arrive after us, eat and leave, and we were still waiting. we were furious and my kids were crying because they were so hungry. Over an hour and a half (if not 2 hrs)after we arrived, my husband got up and canceled our order and we left. My husband attributed it to racism. I think they just forgot to put our order in. Today I went in for my usual cajun burger for lunch but saw hot open turkey sandwich on the special list with stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberry. This restaurant has declined rapidly over the last few years. The owner/hostess is never friendly and the service is horrible. Always an excuse why you have to wait...waitress called in/ cook didn't show. It might be ok for wings and a beer but anything beyond that is not worth the money. Although we have eaten there many times, this time was disappointing. Their devil wings are NOT hot, not at all. But our biggest problem was that we wanted to bring our dog, a 20 lb corgi so very small who sits quietly under the table.....we were escorted to the side of the patio that has NO shade and the grass and weeds grow wildly, vs the nicely shaded covered, clean side....very upset at this. My husband brought the dog home but I would have just left. Moral of the story, don't go here if you have a dog in the summer. read more

We've been here for dinner a few times and enjoyed it, so we were excited when we were invited there for dinner tonight. We won't be going back again. The service was slow, and the food, with the exception of the french onion soup, was not good. It took 45 minutes for our table to get our salads, soup, and bread, and we only got it because we went and asked someone where our food was. Our main dishes were not worth the wait. The prime rib was completely raw and rubbery, and my husband was afraid he would get sick if he ate it. The shrimp in my salad was overdone, and the salad had the wrong dressing. The medium rare burger someone in our group ordered was definitely well done. All in all, it was a beautiful night to eat dinner outside, but I can't say any of us enjoyed this meal. read more

We went for dinner. We spent $38. They said you have to order off Dinner Menu. We ordered off the menu that was handed to us, the dinner menu. They said drinks aren't included. My wife and I ate here last night. The food is good pub fare. The standout here was the fries. Huge sliced potatoes with the skins left on. There's also an extensive selection of bourbons. Mention this to the owner and he'll give you a very detailed explanation of his high end line of bourbon. The service was excellent, from the wait staff to the owner himself. My wife enjoys NA beer and at first, they could only offer ODoul's, which is a disappointment. Within 5 minutes the owner came back with a nice cold Becks NA, which we appreciated very much. PC's Paddock is a great place to eat American cuisine with a mixture of all types of food including Caribbean and smoked. They have an outside patio during the summer which is both nice and large. The prices are inexpensive and they always have unique and creative specials. The artichoke dip is delicious and the NY Strip is the perfect dinner. They also provide fresh fruit bread or banana bread during dinner hours. Overall a great place to drink and dine. read more

Met my friend there for lunch. It was a beautiful day with a nice breeze so we decided to eat outside under the tent on the patio. Food and service were good, however someone should tell the owner/chef/smoker person that smoking brisket outside when the wind is blowing and people are eating is NOT a good idea. At one point I started choking, my clothes smell like smoke. All that smoke is really toxic and we couldn't understand how he couldn't see that it was billowing over to the patio. Not concentrating on the big picture, I guess, which means, this isn't a professionally run place. Oh and if owner/chef/smoker reads this and says, "Why didn't they say something? We would have moved them inside." That is not our responsibility as patrons. It's the owner/chef/smokers responsibility, along with the staff to offer to move us, or shut off the smoker or something. I have to say can't help but write on this one. The hook fish fry Friday's 9.99, look at the reviews all are great. We reserved 4 adults. Nice atmosphere. Booking was easy. Well fish fry is only for take out. What? Ok get the fish sandwich same but on breed...it was terrible hammed flats three readings and fried. Sandwich was dry. Wife ordered scallops linguine, scallops under cooked and on their last day. Could taste the bacteria setting in. Had to beg for bread.. well we dropped 275 including tip. Won't go there again.. what ever happened to good fresh food and the good serving of fish.. I will go to McDonald's at least it taste good is worth the money and I know what I'm geeking. read more

Always a decent meal for a fair price. It isn't amazing quality and service but is fair. I would give a better ranking if the staff were friendlier and had appropriate training for hospitality. I eat out nightly and find them to be consistently off and making excuses. I've also experienced a younger male bartender being rude to customers and discouraging them from ordering food at the bar. While the food here was very good, the hostess left a bit to be desired. On Saturday, November 28, 2015, I was meeting a group of friends with a 7:00 pm reservation. When I arrived at 6:45 pm, I realized that I did not know what name the reservation was under. The hostess told me what reservations were still waiting to be seated, but neglected to inform me that she had already seated my party prior to 6:45. At no time did the hostess tell me to check to see if my party was already seated. Not only had my party been seated prior to 6:45 pm, but they had informed our server that they were still waiting for me. Portabella mushroom quesadilla not great. This was filled with canned mushrooms, canned peppers and undercooked onions. The Steak Diane was tough and full of gristle and fat. Looks like it was nuked. Green beans were not cooked and tough. If you like previously frozen food and canned veggies this is your place. We prefer fresh ingredients. I would never, ever eat here again. Wait staff was very young and friendly. Our waiter was friendly and apologetic. If this place doesn't step up their game they will be out of business very quickly. Went for the first time on Friday, 7/19/19, the food was very good, but the a/c is terrible. Yes it was hot and humid, but we were seated at a table in the back and the a/c unit is in the wall above, but w/a shelf blocking the cool air. There was a ceiling fan, which was not on, which would have circulated the air. We mentioned it to one of the wait staff and was told that the a/c just "kicked" on, well as we were eating w/sweat pooling on our foreheads, never felt the a/c. Mentioned it another wait staff and asked about the ceiling fan, no real answer. I'm sorry but you need to be sure that your customers are comfortable and neither of these people seemed to care, we would have been cooler outside w/the hot/humid air as at least there was a breeze every so often ! I emailed my concern and all I got was an apology, really? How about looking into it and answering my concerns with how you will fix and address it in the future and not say, that the a/c is only 1 year old !!!!!! read more

I finally got the chance to visit. The dining area was full ( reservations requested). So we sat at the bar to eat , which was fine. We all enjoyed our cocktails, entrees steak ( very good Hereford beef) and salmon dishes. Huge sides of fresh veggies and potatoes. The bar maid was attentive to our needs.. For a bar area it was well lit and the acoustics were great.... Not so noisy we couldn't hear each other. We will definitely return with a reservation next time !!! read more

The thing about these reviews is that you have to rate restaurants according to their category and fairly within that category. So, as I was expecting a local bar/grill type place, I was very very happy. Surprisingly happy. The smoked wings really are awesome. The sandwiches were good as well, really good. The prices were fair and the service was very friendly and helpful. A few things that I wasn't thrilled about- it's carpeted, and not especially clean. My paper menu was covered in what seemed to be long term grime. There are so many knick-knacks that I just don't know how they keep up with them. Still, who cares? The owners, Dawn and Roger, circulate and check in on their customers regularly, as do the always attentive wait-staff. Drinks are generous, with 2-for-1 specials in the summer, and a nice (but modest) selection of beers on tap. Anything Roger BBQs (the pulled pork is one of my personal favorites) is always good, and the Po-Boy sandwiches are also excellent and filling. We are never disappointed at PC's. The food is delicious and plentiful; the staff is friendly and attentive. A cozy atmosphere with the bar area separate from dining. Seasonal outside seating. Lots of choices on the menu plus rotating specials. (See their website for menus) Our favorite is the Steak Diane from the regular menu and the Pulled Pork when it is on the specials menu. We've eaten here about 4 times now, the food is always very good, especially the appetizers, (Asian cowboy wings are great!). I really enjoy the sandwich selections, the only 2 negatives we have are we are ALWAYS feeling rushed out the door, to the point that the waitress stopped by about every minute to try to take our plates even though we were still eating, never offered a drink refill,(soda or iced tea). We've heard this opinion from others and it turned out to be true. Also, honestly, the owner acts like she being inconvenienced when we show up to eat, actually we were relieved when we went there the other night and someone else seated us.
