Smash burger, Oreo shake, Dubai shake
    Lauren G.

Love it here! We've been twice now and looking forward to going back often. So far we've tried a burger, chicken tenders, milkshakes, smoothie, and fries. All delicious and we especially love the retro sauce! The Oreo shake is at the top of our list! We're eager to try the loaded fries and crepes/waffles soon. Great place for families. The space is clean and everyone is friendly and helpful. Service is quick and it's fun to play while you're waiting for your food.

Round two for some great gaming, some great food at this great place ! This is what every adult and child needs at the end of the week. Thanks again for great service and a clean restaurant.

Came here for a lunch date. Food was great, very filling and playing games was fun. The one button on the controller stuck a bit, not the worst issue but a bit annoying. Service was good. The girl was very friendly and food didn't take long to come out, average wait time I'd say.

Everything is halal! Even the marshmallows! Really cool menu that you don't have to worry about what you're eating if you follow halal. Tons of snack foods as well as drinks and burgers. Just came for a quick snack and drink but will be back for a full meal. The chicken tenders were juicy and seasoned really nicely that they packed a lot of flavor! The mozzarella sticks seemed like the usual run of the mill ones nothing crazy! It's all retro theme with the tv's and controllers all having sanitizer wet wipes in front of them which makes sense because I was wondering how with greasy fingers from the snacks was playing on the gaming systems going to happen. I'm not a big gamer but my husband is and he knew all of the old throw back games. I think this would be a great place to throw a party or have a large group of friends meet up! Not really supportive of one to one conversing due to the noise volumes but that's okay because everyone is having fun playing the old games. The counter service is neat and you can sit yourself wherever you would like. Such a random detail but the retro floor reminded me of the 90s I liked the nostalgia!

Double retro burger with fries and a chicken sandwich.

Sooo clean and so fun! Seriously not a speck anywhere. The burger patties are beef and SO DELICIOUS. The chicken sandwich was amazing, crunchy, tasty, and the fries were bomb. I don't know what they had, Cajun seasoning? Really yummy and perfectly cooked. I also had a Nutella shake .... Not too sweet and I couldn't stop eating it. I don't rave often but this place was legit. Also the staff were super helpful when we couldn't figure out the game system for a sec. They have 100s of games. We played a few of them and ended up playing Pac-Man lol 10/10. If I lived here I'd come back regularly. Have to get one of these in Vegas!

I had Retro Smash Burger and Philly Steak Sandwich which I took home!

Since I'm a little older and like playing old school games the ambiance is perfect. I love the food I've been twice and both times the food was worth it and I'm picky about my food. They are always nice when they greet you which is good service to start off with.

Had to try the chop cheese a let me tell ya it did not disappoint. Of course had to have a sweet treat after so I ordered the lotus shake which also was good. Wish it was a little more thicker for my liking. But it was still yummy . Loved the vibes such a chill spot to sit , eat , and play !

    Sad portion

My family and I went to retro bites for the first time because my daughter begged for it for her 5th grade graduation dinner. As you can see from the receipt we ordered at 7:22 our food did not arrive until 8:16 . We saw numerous take out orders being fulfilled. When one is the workers finally came over to ask if we had received our food yet we said no and they said oh sorry we didn't realize. Then they said the screen disconnected and our order was lost. The serving size was gross compared to the amount of time I waited. Prettt much the worst restaurant I've been to which is a shame because it's a cool concept.

Food exceeded our expectations. Beautifully crispy tenders with the retro sauce. We travel to NJ for our favorite chicken/halal spot and now we can get the same quality near home. We'll def be back.

5 stars Came in to…read moresee family and found this spot of goodness as we drove up RT-9 looking for a place to eat after a 7 hr drive. This place is friggen GREAT... The atmosphere, the tables, service, the food, everything was very good. Good sized menu with many options.. Different areas of the restaurant have different set ups. We were in the bar area. Service was top notch. The free bread and bruschetta is house made and highly recommended. Mrs had the Reuben (shocker)- liked it a lot. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and it was excellent. Moist not greasy, coating was spot on. Honestly, one of the best I've had. Wife had two lemon-drops and 3 domestic beers for me. No appetizers $77 pre-tip. Which I thought was very reasonable. We are here through the weekend and plan on coming back tomorrow. Longest review ever- sorry We're back 2 days later because of a snow storm and the day prior, there was standing room only. Note to everyone- get there early.. I have no idea how I didn't know about this place in my many trips back home after I moved away. Back in the bar area. Service was once again spot on. Somewhat quiet today. Good happy hour deals. Mrs Reuben went 180 on me and ordered the Parmesan encrusted chicken- which is good cuz I'll get some. Chicken was tender, and really nice sauce. Ample portion I got the Mac n' Cheese because she said I had to try something new. (Happy wife- happy life)" really good, large size / could split it. Very cheesy. Little extra salt for both was a good touch. It was a rather stressful weekend (we're loosing a family member) we had the two entries, shared a soup, and 3 martini/ drinks each- $125. Which again, for the wonderful decompression space, service and food, is a very reasonable price. On the way out my wife got two canopies- $8. And our bartender came running after us because my wife left her headphones. THANK YOU

Simple drinks, nothing fancy (looking at ya Night and Day bar) . Lately even usual places cut drastically on their alcohol in the drinks ( Taxas road house completely forgot to put any tequila in their margaritas, and that's a shame) But, food... when I order ahi acid tuna I want it raw and seared on the sides. Not cooked. It came well done, and thats never heard for an ahi ahi in my world. P.s. espresso martini was the tastiest of all cocktails. That i would recommend.

What a Disappointment!!! The whole experience was a crying…read moreshame! Not only for us, and the other customers, but for the owners as well. Made a reservation for 7:30 PM. We received an email, that they would be doing a soft opening November 1st. We were really looking forward to a Spanish meal! When we arrived, the place was packed! Usually, a positive sign. Apparently, we weren't the only ones, that received the E-mail. We let the bartender know that we had a reservation, the answer was pretty much; see if you can find a seat. First off - they should change the name from Flores Tapas to Flores - burger and taco shack. Based on the "new" menu. It's very sad - because it's neither "fish nor fowl". Is it Mexican street food or a burger joint? It takes forever for the food to come out of a totally confused kitchen and even though there are numbers on the table, they don't know where to bring it. It's the fault of the "21st century"ordering system they are employing. IT is totally "Fakakta"!! Theoretically, the order goes from your phone to the kitchen, where they process it and prepare your food, then the runner brings it to your table. The reality is disappointingly different. You're better off, sitting at the bar; getting blitzed and watching TV. The fast food gets there sooner! You can do that at home and not have to worry about driving home drunk. Sadly, they spent a small fortune on theme glasses, seat back covers that look like Santa's hat, and specialty merchandise. See photos. I have a feeling, that a lot of the people that were there tonight. Sitting around at the tables, waiting for their food, that took over an hour to arrive won't be back! Especially a lot of the senior citizens or anyone over 30 years old that wondered what was going on? It was suggested; that as a Tapas restaurant they couldn't survive. Wappingers isn't ready for them. However, there are dozens of Mexican taco places within a few miles and burger joints to choose from. Let's hope they fair well.

We made a reservation for two but waited 10 minutes with no one greeting or seating us, so we eventually seated ourselves at the bar. It took another 20 minutes for the overburdened bartender to take our order. The food was underwhelming, and while the cocktails were tasty, they were far too small for the price. That said, the staff--though clearly short-staffed and overwhelmed--were friendly and genuinely doing their best. Unfortunately, the lack of adequate staffing and organization made the experience fall flat.

The Hog has a very high overall Yelp rating, and a menu full of very cool sounding breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, burgers, jawns (iykyk, but think famous Philly foods) and bowls. It would literally take me weeks of eating lunch or breakfast at The Hog to order everything I want from the menu, but I ordered a "Grasso" Italian style hoagie for myself, and a "Blues for Tom" carved turkey based sandwich for my wife. The Grasso is not your Nonna's Italian. It has some familiar sandwich fillings like high quality hot soppressata and ham, EVOO, vinegar and oregano. Some stylized versions of things you know like shredduce, pickled onions and sun dried peppers. But I bet you've never had mozzarella's oozy cousin burrata on an Italian sandwich. Or whatever Garlic knot sauce is. This sandwich looked amazing. Tasted fantastic. The salty, sweet and acidic flavors really sang. The long hoagie roll was very good too. As much as I loved my sandwich, the turkey sandwich I ordered with my wife's tastes in mind may have been even better. It had carved turkey, Brie, Blueberry Chia Jam, apple, something called "rocket", toasted almonds and an unbilled starring roll for arugula (I believe). I've never seen this combination, but it played like a riff on the classic Thanksgiving style carved turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce. I don't know what this sounds like to people who eat a sandwich with just bologna, but it was amazing. The flavors and textures were so great. The country white bun was fresh and tasty too. The person who put this menu together is a culinary genius. So many cool options and unique takes on favorites. If you're anywhere near Wappingers Falls, you should go. They have seating and coffee as well. 5 enthusiastic Stars
