My favorite restaurant in town. I have been 4 times in the last 5 months. I love the seasonal cocktails. They had different ones in summer, fall, and winter ( i haven't been in spring yet). Paddock Punch, Butter Beer, and Winter Cosmopolitan are chef's kiss. Salad, wings, cheesecake, & eggplant pasta dishes are delicious. The staff is super nice. In all of the years, I finally gave P.C.'s a try with a large group for a Christmas dinner. The space was a bit cramped, especially when it was busy and vice versa. The food and drinks we ordered were on the slow side, which is no surprise. I was satisfied with what I ordered, the PC Paddock Burger, juicy and tasty all around. I liked the fries as well, crispy and crunchy, can't go wrong with that. For dessert, I got the Cheesecake loaded with flavor. Our waitress and the owner (I believe), took great care of us and did everything they could. Something that lowered my rating is that the men's bathroom did not have a lock. That needs to be addressed. Other than that, can't wait to make this stop again. read more

Had a CRAVING for the COWBOY WINGS. ( a MUST try). Time to kill until my appointment so I caved in to the craving- The owner was a wealth of trivia-fun. I wrangled those wings and took some for my snowblower team who is plowing me out. My order: Cowboy Wings, Maple Bacon Bourbon ( new from the owner), and strawberry habanero for the crew. We'll see. The only downside is FOX "news" on one of the TVs. Ugh. Cowboy Wings: love them Maple Bacon bourbon Chicken Wings: PIG OUT TIME. Long-time customer and have always enjoyed the food, alcohol choices, and friends. Marci was our server last night and was awesome. We had clams, French onion soup, and the Bourbon Street linguini -- all perfectly cooked and served at the right temperature. Definitely worth a visit. read more

Well, I decided to give a meal another try. I came twice prior just for wings and they were great. Upon entering we had a choice of where to sit - as long as it was a 2 top. I requested a certain table and they said no because it's a 4 top and it gets busy. The tables were empty the entire time I was there. Not cool...I should be able to sit where I choose - especially since the place was EMPTY. This time I got the Jockey. A flat iron steak on a hoagie with cheese and horseradish. I feel confident saying either this was not a flat iron or it was the worst flat iron steak in the world. It was tough and chewy. Nothing tender about it and every bite dragged a lot of meat out with it. More like a poor quality London broil. No seasoning on it - bland. The horseradish was scarce. Wife's burger was also bland. Her cheese was not all the way melted and was clearly out of a bag. The service was great! Waitress was top notch. The food? Meh... I'll stick to wings at the bar... read more

I've been here a few times and I think the rating should be 3.75 or four stars. I really like the location, and the outdoor seating is very nice. They are quite accomodating and (at least in my experience) will serve you outside even when it's a bit too hot or too cold. Sometimes the servers are a little overwhelmed or don't come by as often as I'd like, but some of that is on me for choosing to sit outside :-) Everything I've had here; appetizers, burgers, chicken, drinks, erverything- has been good. They don't seem to be known for fish but I've had several seafood dishes here (most recently, ahi tuna on a salad) and it's always been fresh and prepared well. The prices are just a little higher than I'd like but I'll say the quality of the food is good, and you gotta pay for quality. Wings wings wings. Stumbled across this place after visiting the crystal show and this place blew us away. We are always ready to enjoy wings and man this place was covered in awards for their wings. Smokey, crispy, juicy, and super flavorful with their different sauces. Big portions for delicious wings. This place was on the smaller side but the patio was beautiful and inviting from the road. We ate at PC Paddocks . It was quite disappointing. We had two appetizers, crab cakes were pretty good, but the onion rings were overcooked. My wife had a taco salad , and asked for no olives. However it was served with a ton of olives, which we removed one by one. It was too much work. Also the taco salad was not served in an edible bowl and the taco chips verged themselves were stale. My burger was fine but I did not feel very good after the meal. The server was attentive and very apologetic that the kitchen had not acted properly. We dined outside , it was nicely set up but we were there on a very hot night and were uncomfortable. I would have given one star but the waiter was attentive and apologetic. read more

Meanwhile, Anothet restaurant accepted a gift certificate the other night that was purchased during Covid. We've had to spend a fair amount of time in Lagrange in the last few months and discovered P.C.'s Paddock while looking for dinner places. We've eaten there a number of times and the food, drinks and service is consistently good. They have a nice lively patio with lots of seating for al fresco dining but we found in this hot summer that the indoor option was nice and quiet and air conditioned. The wait staff has always been friendly and helpful and they seem to enjoy working there judging by the banter among the staff and the regulars in bar. They offer daily specials as well as a regular menu. Last week, I had the French Onion Soup, Flank Steak and Oreo Cookie Mousse Pie for dessert. Really nice meal! read more

Truly one of the worst places I've been to in the area. Absolutely shocked they have been around since 1990. Maybe at one point they were good? I've never had such tasteless food and everything that went in the fryer was somehow both overcooked and undercooked? Service was fine. The absolute worst experience ever. We made reservations for 7 last night, 3 children and 4 adults (two families). We were seated at around 6:15 and ordered pretty promptly, the waitress expressed the kitchen was behind and we would have to wait a bit. We ordered 3 sangria drinks while we waited. We waited about 45 minutes with no food and eventually our waitress told us it would still take some time. So I asked if they could at least bring bread for the kids and she said ok. We got hamburger buns and butter. Shortly after that we received nachos at about 7:15... 1 of 2 appetizers. We were told again that they are trying to get to it but they had alot of tickets. About another 15/20 minutes go by and we received our second appetizer (smoked wings). At this point its been 1.5 hours and the kids still haven't eaten. Meanwhile multiple tables seated after us had received food and had eaten. So I asked the hostess to speak with a manager and explained my concerns and the situation and the hostess says she would send the manager over. At the point the manager (owner) speaks with the hostesss and looks in our direction and decides never to come over and actually apologize or show any remorse to the situation. Conveniently a few minutes later our waitress comes over again to tell us they had two more tickets left and would start our food right after. I expressed that I couldnt understand why tables after us got their food ahead of us and I was told it was because they pushed outlr ticket aside to work on the smaller parties firts. Zero Logic at all, especially when there is children involved. At this point 7:50) I tell her to forget our order and we would be leaving. She said ok and went and brought us our check for drinks and appetizers... 72 dollars. Still no apology from the manager/owner. How about even a gesture of compassion for making us wait there 2 hours and crediting us our drinks or appetizers or anything. Any sign at all that customers matter to your establishment?? V Being in the food business myself, I have never experienced such lack of customer service in my life. I would have been front and center and would have handled this with upmost importance. I made reservations for a party of 7 (including 3 children) for 6:15pm. We arrived at 6:12pm. Although we were seated quickly, by 7:45pm, we had only received our drinks and SOME apps (nothing for the kids). As a consolation, we were told they would bring a bread basket. What we received were untoasted slider buns. When we attempted to speak with the manager, she avoided us. Instead, we kept hearing excuses about when the food was going to come out. We mentioned how at least two tables seated after us got their entire meal but it made no difference. We are beyond disappointed. read more

This place has received a bunch of negative reviews but I'm not sure why. The outside is adorable with lots of tables and string lights. My dad has The Jockey sandwich which came with so much steak and cheese and he said it was absolutely delicious. I had the The Seahorse which was also delicious. My girlfriend and I went there Saturday night for beer and burgers and upon walking in your greeted right away. Friendly atmosphere with a warm and cozy dining area. The beer was Sloop *outstanding and the cheeseburgers cooked perfectly rare. They are famous for their own French fries with a special dipping sauce. I'm giving them a 5 star review and I will be back over and over. This is not my first time there. They have a fabulous dinner menu with specials. read more

Everything was drowned in grease, some food was VISIBLY UNDERCOOKED, and each bite of what was edible was saltier than the last. Stay far away from this disgusting infested hovel. The pierogies that were available for a lunch special were very good considering that this isn't a Slavic restaurant. Eight in the order, they were served with an ample portion of sour cream, which is always nice. They were the star of our meal and my mother and I were quite glad we decided to get them because the rest was mediocre. I ordered the warm Brussels sprouts salad and it was no good. It actually looked like chop suey. The Brussels sprouts were boiled and had no flavor at all. Mixed with blue cheese crumbles and a tiny of amount of bacon with julienned apples, the flavor profile was really off. There should have been a lot more bacon and larger pieces, because it was all one note and desperately needed extra savory and salty flavor. The blue cheese did not go well at all with the ingredients. The sprouts should have been caramelized rather than boiled. They're my favorite vegetable and this really wasn't appealing. The chicken Parmesan sandwich my mother ordered was decent enough but the sauce was not appealing and the roll wasn't toasted. The server was very friendly and sweet though and it's a wholesome country place. We should have ordered wings and the pierogies. It's clear that this place is quite old because there is a damp and musty smell, especially by the bathroom. read more

Not a fan of PC's at all. Owners are extremely snobby to customers especially when it comes to seating locations (and god forbid you don't have a reservation...) My friend loves it here, so I have gone several times. I have ordered meals ranging from steak to pasta and even a burger. Food is way below average, especially for the price. Last time I ordered a steak and it was extremely fatty, which made it almost inedible. The veggies served on the side were also absolutely frozen from a bag. That visit was the last straw, I have not returned since. It's a shame too, the location is close to my house and they offer outdoor seating which I enjoy. Unfortunately the poor food quality is on par with the owners attitudes. If you do go, get a burger it's the safest bet - this place is NOT a high end restaurant as the menu suggests. read more

I had the burger. Although the burger was cooked perfectly, it lacked any flavor. The bun was burnt on the bottom. It came with a side of potato salad which was very dry and also was unflavorful. I did like the atmosphere a lot. I will go again and try something different and if my experience is better I will be more than happy to update this rating. If I could have given zero stars, I would have. I wish I had taken a look at the yelp reviews before giving this place a try because there are obviously many other people that share in my disgust for this disgrace of a "restaurant." The service was horrible, the food was horrible and the people that own the place are equally horrible. 15 minutes went by before our sever came to greet us. Then another 10/15 minutes went by before we received our watered down drinks. We tried the chili nachos for an appetizer, which were soggy and inedible. Then for my entree I ordered the cajun garlic rib eye special medium rare. It came out well done and I am not kidding when I say this was the most disgusting steak I have ever received in my entire life. I would not have fed this to my dog. When the server finally came back to check on us and was made aware of the issue I could see them talking to the owner who did not seem to care and could not be bothered to leave the bar. They knew they had an unhappy customer but they sat at the bar taking shots and getting visibly drunk. Not exactly a good look. Needless to say I will not be back and I hope this review saves at least one person from wasting their money at this establishment. I promise you could easily get a better meal from the gas station up the street. read more

We've driven by several times before and this place always seemed very busy, so when we had family in town we called and made a reservation for four at 6:45 this evening. We arrived about 5 minutes late due to traffic, but were shown promptly to our table. That was the only good thing about the service we received for the evening. We ended up waiting for about 15 minutes to place an order for drinks and had to flag down a hostess to do so. Five minutes later the drinks arrive - two beers, a Shirley Temple, and a mixed drink (Paddock Punch that tasted like Robitussin cough syrup) and that was the last service we had for the evening. After waiting ten more minutes, we decided that the likelihood of ever being served was low and decided to leave. I approached the hostess and requested our check and received an excuse as to why we weren't served - "sorry, we're just short staffed tonight". There were at least five front of house staff wandering around the restaurant not including bar staff, and it's not an overly large place, so I disagree but whatever. Long story short, don't waste your money. You'll at least get service and probably even some food if you go to an Applebee's. read more

Kinda wanted to step up our game for lunch and we've been following their Instagram account for a minute so decided to give it a whirl.... totally worth the trip. Started out with Cheeseburger soup which was fun. Then had the fish tacos. Lightly fried but still crunchy. I'm getting hungry just thinking about them. Ended with (strong) coffee and a slice of heavenly cheesecake. The only problem I had was that we drank pink lemonade with our meal (tasted fresh!), but I thought the refills were free. Wound up with a £16 lemonade bill . I'm going back. Soon. And repeat business is the best compliment I can give then. read more

It was a beautiful day for drinks outside after work. We entered this establishment and asked if we could order drinks outside. We weren't even seated before the bar Nazi laid down the law. From what I understand, the owner (short, blonde, bitchy person) informed us that we couldn't sit under the pavilion, we couldn't get happy hour prices and we had to get the drinks at the bar with no server. WOW! We really should have just walked out. The bartender was pleasant and gave us excellent service. We tipped him well. The owner's bad manners were not his fault. In the meantime, customers began to arrive for dinner and were greeted by servers and graciously seated. My biggest regret is giving my hard-earned money to this establishment. I worked for The Culinary Institute of America for many years. I know what good service is. Believe me this wasn't it. I understand you can profit by flipping tables with higher tabs, however that doesn't excuse poor service. The Hudson Valley is a food mecca. Do yourself a favor and choose another dinner venue where you will be treated with kindness and respect. Don't waste your time or money. Took my dad here for Father's Day.. worst experience I've EVER had at a restaurant. Our waitress was definitely heavily drunk & had no idea what was going on. Had reservations, Waited 20 min just for a greet & our drinks (water) when she comes back she comes back with 2 alcoholic drinks and hands them to us. Not ours.. we laugh it off she takes them back. Comes back again with a glass of wine that we did not order (she laughs again) , still no water. Finally got our waters (FROM the bus boy) Another 30 min go by and she still hasn't came back to take our orders.. finally takes our orders. After an HOUR she comes to bring our food, the WRONG FOOD! (She laughs) Then tells us she forgot to put our order in over an hour and a half of sitting there. Another 20 min go by and she comes back to tell us they're out of the food that we ordered. 2 HOURS of waiting to tell us they don't have the meal. She still thought it was funny. After 2 hours of waiting.. & us being the only table left in the whole restaurant.. Fries were burnt to a crisp not even enjoyable Prime rib was a big chunk of unedible fat on a plate New Orleans pasta had 2 pieces of ground up chicken STILL paid $90+ for a small burger, a piece of fat, and a bowl of pasta. Owner only apologized & did nothing helpful. Waitress apologized & still thought it was funny enough to continue laughing about it Even if they offered me a free 3 course meal I would NEVER return Unappetizing & careless people. 10/10 DO NOT recommend 1 star for the bus boy who did most of the work read more

Ordered 4 of their Sunday special of the smoked prime rib.... it was HORRIBLE and seemed off. We asked for medium rare and received what seemed to be completely blue in the center and well done on the bottom. If you can imagine what it would be like to eat a prime rib that was haphazardly cooked in a microwave, that was the different temperatures of the meat as well as the awkward textures. The included sides of string beans/carrots and mashed potato were decent. The "au jus" tasted like they took a bottle of liquid smoke and just added water with no other seasoning. Not appetizing at all. We really want to love this place because its so close to us but the quality of their food is majorly inconsistent. Theyve struck out way too many times on entrees with red meat for us. Their wings are good and their sandwiches arent bad. However, we do NOT recommend any of their steaks or prime ribs. read more
