Pastrami Reuben could be 3 meals!

Server Ashley was the best - a warm smile, kind demeanor, and excellent service. I will request her in the future. Food was HUGE and delicious . My only complaint was my reuben came open faced - Not my favorite, but now I know. It still tasted really good! I've been coming to this diner for 40 years. Never had a bad meal...

This textbook-looking diner sits right off I-84, appropriate name, right? It's huge and has a large parking lot to match. They are not open 24 hours though, closing between 9-10 PM depending on the day. In true diner fashion, the menu is a beast! For those who are very indecisive, you might want to add a couple of extra minutes to study the options. I ordered the mac & cheese burger ($17.99) since it was a more unique burger offering. I-84 burgers are 1/2 pounders consisting of a short rib brisket and chuck blend, in a grilled bun. I selected salad for my side, and I was pleased that it came out first since I was quite hungry. Part of my curiosity was reading on the menu how their mac & cheese was "famous" and used a three cheese combo. Well, the mac & cheese did not disappoint. Much of it had fallen off the burger but no matter. It had a great gooey but smooth texture and was fantastically cheesy. Look for the mac & cheese section on the jumbo menu for more offerings. Along with the menu, the portions are also mammoth. Our server and the cashier were very friendly. The restrooms were tidy. There's a discount if you pay by cash. Glad to have tried I-84 Diner!

A memorable bite of nostalgia with a generous portion of hospitality is the only proper way to describe the I-84 Diner. Our family has travelled all over the U.S., being fortunate to have dining experiences from Disney to the Grand Hotel, so our standard of comparison is high. From "Eye of the Tiger" playing in the background, to the on point mid-century furnishings, to the massive menu and front dessert display it made us forget 2026 exists! Most importantly, the service from our waitress Tina C. - who seemed able to make every guest feel like a welcome friend while keeping those plates moving - was truly one-of-a-kind! Clean, efficient and warm, it even satisfied a 17-year-old after a long day's haul in the car. Save your money and skip fake dining at places like like Disney. Visit this diner instead and enjoy an unforgettable serving of authenticity!

After a long drive from the Island, and a storm of biblical proportions, didn't feel like cooking; this is our go-to restaurant. Had a roast beef sandwich on rye. There must've been at least a half a pound of roast beef in there! See the photo. Service is always prompt. The place is always clean and inviting. I'm not a dessert person, but their pastries are eye-catching.

Came here withy my brothers and dad on the day after Black Friday. We found the staff to be friendly, the service to be quick, and the food was fresh and delicious. My dad was impressed with the salad with all the different mixed greens (not just romaine), my brother wished his Nutella waffle was just a tad more cooked, and I loved my buffalo chicken wrap! I subbed ranch for blue cheese and was impressed with the crunchy chicken and the cooked wrap. If this was closer to home, I would absolutely come back!

The first thing that struck me was the chrome facade was so shiny. As I entered the diner through a hallway leading up to the main floor, it was apparent that this place is kept sparkling clean. That made me know I was in for a treat. I have eaten here over the past week both for dinner and for breakfast. Good food, large portions and plenty of old time diner food and desserts. The menu is so large that you have to be able to find something to suit your taste. They also have Greek food, which is fabulous!beer and wine seal the deal. Service is friendly and speedy. Bathrooms are spotless. I have absolutely no complaints.

It's counter service and there was already a bit of a line when we arrived around 7:15am (why were so many people already up and about?! lol). We loved that they had a great variety of options, including many vegetarian options. I went with the egg & cheese sandwich and accidentally ordered it without the greens & sauce (whoops!). However, it was still delicious and satisfying. My husband got the avocado toast which was SUPER filling due to the hummus that was on it. He was only able to finish half of it. We also got a side order of fruit which, to my delight, was a bowl of berries! The fruit is seasonal so the combination might be different depending on what time of year you are visiting. Also, both of our coffees met our standards, which are a bit high these days. So kudos to them on that! The ambiance was absolutely incredible!!! Very well lit with a bright, welcoming atmosphere. We sat near the back of the restaurant (away from all windows), however we still felt like we were being flooded with sunlight. It was wonderful! Definitely recommend coming here to grab breakfast while visiting Beacon!

Location: This location is modern, yet it has a really cool vintage aesthetic, especially when you walk in and see the bar area. It's very spacious and perfect for a breakfast day, spending time with the family, or even going on a solo brunch. Sitting at the bar would be ideal. If I'm not mistaken, this location did not have parking, and we did have to look for street parking. It was a tad tedious because it is a pretty busy street, Still, it is worth going to. We did end up finding parking within 15 minutes, and if you're OK with that, then that should not be an issue. This is a casual attire breakfast spot. The restaurant was busy but we were able to score a table. My wife ordered the Falafel burger with a side salad and I ordered the Vegan pancakes with Strawberries, bananas, and a side of homemade sausage. My wife loved her burger. Fat burger cooked fresh and on a brioche bun. My pancakes were good. Just the right amount of sweetness but very light on the bananas and strawberries. The homemade sausage was excellent. Two flat patties. Service was friendly but just ok. The prices are higher than your normal establishment for breakfast or lunch. Rent in Beacon is probably high. There is street parking but you are better off finding a public lot. The bathrooms were clean which is always a good thing.

The Bee's Knees cocktail wasn't for me. It was way too sour. That said, I think that's more on me for ordering it than the drink itself since it's meant to have that flavor profile. The shrimp scampi was easily the best dish we ordered. So good. Make sure to dip the baguette into the buttery shrimp sauce. If you're sharing, I'd recommend ordering extra bread because you'll definitely want it. The garlic parmesan wings were excellent. We also tried the blackberry BBQ wings. I didn't really care for that flavor combination but I'm still glad I gave them a shot. Both flavors had big meaty wings that were cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese was really good. Definitely more of an elevated version with a lot going on. I enjoyed it but it was a little too fancy for the kiddo who prefers a simpler mac and cheese. The chicken tenders were very basic and the fries that came with them were pretty weak. We also ordered the garlic parmesan truffle fries which were much better than the regular fries, even if they weren't anything special. The lemonade was also too sour for my taste. We ended up adding sugar ourselves and after that it was much better. Overall, we had a good meal. The shrimp scampi and garlic parmesan wings were the clear standouts, service was friendly, and the atmosphere made for an enjoyable experience. I'd come back, but I'd definitely order differently next time.

From the very beginning, Chris, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Since The Beacon Daily typically does not offer direct delivery for a la carte orders, I explained that this lunch was part of a very important three day celebration and that everything needed to be handled with extra care. Without hesitation, Chris personally stepped in, took ownership of the order, and even delivered it himself all the way to Glynwood's Perkins House. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate our requests were truly remarkable. He thoughtfully provided compostable plates, napkins, and flatware and made sure every aspect of the order was handled flawlessly. It is rare to find a business owner so personally invested in ensuring a customer's event is successful. Most importantly, the food was fantastic. The event planner shared that the lunch was extremely well received, with guests offering numerous compliments throughout the afternoon. Everything was fresh, delicious, beautifully prepared, and perfect for our group. Chris went above and beyond in every way, and the combination of outstanding food and exceptional customer service made The Beacon Daily one of the highlights of the event weekend. Although we were hungry, we weren't in a rush and truly appreciated the heads up! I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan sandwich and WOWZA! The sandwich was HUGE! I took a photo of my Gatorade bottle laying next to it for comparison (haha). I hardly ate half of it because it was so filling, however it was definitely delicious. My husband ordered a sandwich of his own (although I can't remember which one) and he was equally pleased. We also ordered a side of tots which were crispy and salty, just how I like them! My husband and I definitely could've shared one sandwich as we both don't eat a lot in one sitting, so this is something to keep in mind if you're reading this before your first visit here!! The weather was absolutely gorgeous so we chose to sit on the front patio. It was such a lovely atmosphere for lunch! Also, because we were sitting outside, they told us to come back in 30 minutes to check if our order was ready because we wouldn't be able to hear them call our name. All in all, a pleasant experience! Would definitely recommend this place for lunch, especially if you're in the mood for sandwiches.
