Best burgers in Beacon. The potato bun is sweet and fluffy. The sauces are delicious. The meat cooked medium well, so good. Service was kind and helpful. Ample seating inside and outside (including back patio), MOD does well with keeping things light and energetic. It was a great experience dining here. read more

Met a friend here on a Tuesday around 11:50am. This restaurant is quaint and has a walk up bar along with several tables. The server (bartender) was super friendly and attentive. We ordered the single burger with dirty fries and beet coleslaw. Our friend ordered the burger on the gluten free bun (potato) and French fries. The burgers were beautifully presented. The patties tasted great. The potato gluten free bun tasted great but was not very hearty as it crumbled apart as the burger was being eaten. The dirty fries were fantastic! The chili was delicious with nice pieces of meat!! The regular fries were crisp, tasty and not greasy. All was good. Some may be put off by the crumbled bun-but it was still tasty (no reason for a star lowering) read more

Good pub food, good stuff for kids to eat, fun casual finger foods, nice back patio outdoor setup and easy qr code menu/order system.

Huge burgers that are delicious. Fries were pretty good too. But the specialty drinks we tried were crazy expensive for the amount you get. We probably won't go here again due to price. read more

Sometimes you don't need a culinary masterpiece. Sometimes you just want a good American meal, served quickly, at a place that knows exactly what it is. That's Meyer's Olde Dutch. This is classic comfort food and pub fare without the unnecessary extras. Burgers, sandwiches, fries, and the kind of menu where just about everyone can find something they'll enjoy. Nothing fancy, nothing trendy--just straightforward food that's hard to mess up. The service was excellent during my visit. Friendly staff, quick turnaround, and everything came out exactly as ordered. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, making it an easy choice when you're looking for a casual meal. Was it life-changing? No. Am I writing home about the greatest burger I've ever had? Also no. But I walked away full, satisfied, and feeling like I got exactly what I came for. Pizza Beast Score: 3.5/5 "A good, honest American meal with great service. No nonsense, no surprises, and sometimes that's exactly what you're looking for." read more

Cool vibes in here. We sat outside on the patio out back. Burgers were good, although I ordered mine with all the fixings and they forgot them all. Still tasted good though. Fries were great. Cool drinks, would like to go back and try more. read more

Had this restaurant in my "collections" for awhile now. Finally made it on a Tuesday evening. I love how the menu is on the wall visible for everyone. Street parking is available as well as a lot right across from the restaurant. I love the water station available. There is a bench out front to eat as well as plenty of tables indoors & a beautiful setting in the back to eat where it was packed with customers. I will be returning to eat in the back area with the warmer weather upon us. The food was made to order. The burgers were delicious. Two of my nephews had the pork &bacon BBQ burger which I will definitely try next time. Their fry sauce on the table was so delicious. It needs to be sold in bottles to take home! read more

Thanks to TikTok I was able to indulge in a good ass burger from Meyer's. The atmosphere of this burger place was industrial and laid back. Seems like a place the locals love. I had the single Dutch burger with salt and pepper fries. It was so delicious and fresh. The burger was cooked well and had sweet pickles on it. I was never into sweet pickles but it tasted pretty good on the burger. Am I converting to the sweet pickle crew? No. BUT I would eat it again on a burger from Meyer's. The service was great and very laid back. No rushing or fussing. This was my first time ever eating/visiting Beacon NY and on my next trip I'll definitely be stopping in to eat at Meyer's Olde Dutch. read more

Def the people's choice by the amount of foot work this spot gets, there's a little wait but worth it. I had the crispy chicken sandwich with a side of regular fries and a cocktail. Everything was very tasty and made quick. The "Sweater Weather Spritz" drink was hitting. With a few places in the same area to eat, glad I stopped in. read more

They made me a medium burger with bread and butter pickles, without my specifying. Meat tasted fresh and well seasoned. The choice of bun for the burger is perfect. Enough said. read more

Great spot for lunch. I had the chicken sandwich, my daughter had the burger, and we split an order of fries. Everything was fresh and delicious. Be sure to try the orange sauce that's on the table--it was really tasty and paired well with the fries. Prices were fair, especially for the quality of the food. The only thing I'd change is the seating. The hard benches and backless chairs aren't very comfortable, so I'd love to see those upgraded. Other than that, it was a great experience, and we'd definitely come back. read more

We came on a whim while driving around the area antiquing. We were able to snag a couple seats at the bar, as they were quite busy at peak lunchtime on a Sunday. We got a double dutch, crispy chicken sandwich, and fries. To drink, I tried a seasonal gin cocktail. The cocktail was well balanced and refreshing. The burger and chicken sandwiches were tasty and messy due to the large size and generous toppings. Chicken was extra crispy. Fries were seasoned well and even better with fry sauce. Food came out pretty quickly - they were pumping food out of the kitchen. Bartenders were sociable and gave off good vibes. read more

This is in my unprofessional/professional opinion the best cocktail spot in beacon. It's probably the cheapest in terms of prices, but in terms of quality, taste, and creativity, it beats all the places in beacon. read more

The Poughkeepsie store screwed me twice! Last week, they messed up an order and offered to give me a corrected replacement. Today I picked up this replacement but then several hours later, looked at it and it was messed up exactly how it was previously ruined. UNACCEPTABLE! RIDICULOUS! I will never again order from that store! read more

Maybe it was the 4 hour hike talking but this was an EXTREMELY GOOD burger!!! Every component was spot on - pillowy bun, stretchy cheese, perfectly cooked burger, grilled onion, and for once - not too salty! But honestly, the burger wasn't even the star of the show, the fries SLAPPED!!! My friend said it might've been the best fries she's ever had???? They had a slight crunch and soft interior and were thicker which gave them some depth. Thisnis a must try spot in beacon!!! read more

Quality hamburgers with excellent choice of cheese, special fry sauce, mixed greens, savory onion, bacon, and delicious bun. A very relaxed/casual vibe with counter ordering and super friendly staff. Plenty of room to sit; while this isn't a full service dining room, the decor is quite cozy with a laid back feel. The fries were so good. Shoestring fries with right amount of seasoning not overly salty. The unsweetened ice tea is excellent; the teas come with refills. The meyer double is excellent. An excellent option: miles above the ho hum burger options available at chain restaurants. read more

My sister wanted to try this place as she had read on reddit, this place had really tasty burgers. This place did not disappoint. A small, colorful restaurant that also had outdoor seating in the back. Straightforward menu, quick service. Tables were cleaned off by staff and they bring the food to you. The only item I found a bit too much was the dirty fries. The taste was good, but the grease of the chili and the fries was so much it SOAKED THROUGH the container. Burgers were juicy with a slight char. Sweet potato wedges were THICK, cripsy on the outside & mushy inside. Free water station in the back. All of us were satisfied, bellies full. read more

Best burger in town, quick service, very friendly staff. They also have a good drink selection with local craft beverages.

AMAZING AND DELICIOUS!!! Couldn't be happier with this place, I yelped the place before going to Beacon and was dying to try and it definitely didn't disappoint! The burguer was so filling and delicious, the service was quick and something that I love is that they bring it to your table according to your order number! The ambiance is great, so many people enjoing themselves, inside or outside, I loved it! Very recommended and also let me mention that the bathrooms and tables were very clean something that sometimes we forget to rate !! read more

I first saw this place on social media and was enticed to go as I was going to be in Beacon. I would not have time to dine in so I placed an online order for pickup. When doing so they gave an address of X, Yet when I went to X, there was a sign telling me that they were relocated to Y. Something you'd think they'd tell you on the order or confirmation pages... Anyway, I walk in to Y to pick up my order and since it's food, I figure I'll wash my hands. NOPE. The hipster behind the counter quips "no public restrooms. The space they're in is pretty small but it does have a number of eat-in counter style seats which I didn't know you could have without a restroom. I wonder if this is up to code? Anyway, the burger tested pretty good but was a bit greasy and messy to consume. My wife wanted the chicken fingers which were underwhelmingly thin making them more breading then chicken. They also carried some odd deasoning I couldn't place - it was like a cross between old bay and Chinese 5-spice powder. The sweet potatoe fries were tasty but again cut very thin and like the chicken fingers waaaaay too salty. End result: Skip MOD. Maybe I'll give it another try once they're in a real space, but even then I'm interested by the atmosphere and libations - both of which were non-existent in this location. Date of my visit 1/27/25. read more

We visited this place for its rave reviews on burgers & decided to see what the hype was about. I ordered the crispy chicken burger with fries, potato fries, and pickles. The chicken burger was incredibly delicious and perfectly crispy--absolutely living up to its reputation! While the fries were slightly on the salty side, it paired well with the burger. Indoor seating is a bit limited, and it was quite busy when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, but there's additional seating available in the backyard. This spot is definitely a must-try! read more

The greasiest fries I ever had. I ended up with diarrhea the next day. I will never return here.

This was a great discovery by one of my friends, and it had me going since their main go-to is the burgers. As entering, we weren't expecting it to be small inside, which was no issue by all means, but it fits just right in the atmosphere. There is also outdoor seating in the back providing even more seats making it convenient for that purpose. Once sitting, we got a small menu offering different burgers, chicken, and hot dogs. Even though there are a few, the food is undoubtedly outstanding. Ordering is taken care of at the register as paying will be done there. The gentlemen explained the details clearly as we ordered, making sure everything was put in correctly, and also taking the time for us to look it over. I was happy to see the food come out pretty quickly, which wasn't expected as it was busy. The Double Dutch Burger was the ultimate choice for sure, as it was juicy and messy for the most part, and the meat was cooked right. Something that caught my attention was, they didn't ask how I want my burger cooked. I can understand that some restaurants are like that. Wasn't sure if they forgot or just don't offer it all (my guess, but will find out next time when I ask). In the end, I used my fork to finish the remaining toppings that fell out of my burger. The fries speak for themselves as well, really tasty and flavorful indeed. With great food and service, Meyer's is a great stop for sure in Beacon. read more

I've heard good things about the food here and it did not disappoint. Located in the quaint downtown of Beacon, NY Meyers has a nice sitting section to enjoy your meal as well as patio seating At first we were confused as to how to order but the wait staff was very pleasant and eager to help. After taking our order the food was hot and ready. We got an order of wings a crispy chicken sandwich and dirty fries aka chili fries. Everything we got was delicious. Our friend got the lemon pepper curry wings and the had great flavor with a little curry kick. We also enjoyed the drinks that were prepared to order. A Maple old fashioned and a Japanese Martini hit the spot. The price was right and food was delicious. Will definitely be going back for more. Wish I had pictures but the food was gone before I could snap a photo. read more

True to the yelp rating, this is a solid burger joint in Beacon. If you are in tje area definitely come check it out. Cute ambiance, despite the long line dont worry about not getting a seat once you place ur order thwre is still sufficient time to find seatin bwfore ur food arrives. The food is tasty and filling. The burgers are flavorful and has a nice crust. The single is more thank enough unless you have a suoer big appetite. The double fried fries are a good complement tonthe burger. The fry sauce is to die for. So tasty goes well w thw burger and the fries amd every thing else. The citrus seltzer was good. Made with fresh lime snd lemon juice i think. Not overly sweet. This place really is a gem. For a couple bucks more than a crap fast food restaurant you can get a high quality burger and fry fix. However the menu offers so much more than just burgers. I saw a salad today on the menu with feta and fried eggplant I can't wait to try that next time. Plenty of seating, inside, out back in the patio and some picnic tables out front. I appreciated the help your self station with two large ice water coolers, cups, fry sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper. You order up front and are given a #. Simple burger spot in Beacon - stopped by to eat a well deserved burger after a long hike. I got the single Dutch Burger ($11) and some fries ($3.50) to go. I loved all the veggies in the burger; lots of spring salad mix, tomatoes, slivered onions and lots of pickle slices. It was a pretty messy burger though, lots of water was on the bottom of my to-go container and the toppings kept on falling out. I thought the patty was a bit on the smaller side and the fries were way too soggy, but overall a decent spot! read more

We stopped in for dinner last night and it was the best decision ever. The gentleman that took our order could not have been nicer. He made a great beer recommendation to accompany my burger. I had the single dutch (pictured) and a side of fries. My friend had the steak burger on special. I can't imagine how big the double dutch would have been! The double fried fries were spot on and seasoned with salt and pepper and SO SO good. The burger was perfect. I asked for no onions since they were raw and he offered grilled onions instead which I got and it was perfect. We ate at the table out front to people watch but there was also a nice patio with cool lights at dark out back. I would 100% recommend this spot.
