More than meets the eye at this small donut shop. The donuts here were very fresh and delicious! They are think so consider sharing one donut between two adults but after a good workout, I can finish one donut solo. We ordered the popular French toast and six donut holes. The French toast donut was sweet but not overpowering on the sweetness. This donut is about an inch thick. The donut holes were fresh and soft also, both of these items were a home run! There were some tables outside, no inside tables but the line was out the door and it moves faster than the line a space mountain in Disneyland. The line did move pretty well, we were out of there within 10 minutes and it was busy on Labor Day. There is a good amount of parking around that street, plus this shop is near the famous Top Gun house in the first movie. Executive summary: Dog friendly:5/5 Depth of menu:5/5 Good for groups:4/5 Service:5/5 Parking:4/5 Flavor: 5/5 Freshness:5/5 Kid friendly:5/5 Worth every calorie to return to this shop! Enjoy!
These donuts are amazing, definitely different than your traditional donut! Very buttery & flakey more like a cronut for sure the edges are crispy but center is soft, located by the beach in Oceanside which Is a plus! The flavors are always rotating which is fun too my favorite has been the powdered raspberry filled & the maple bacon!
Look. I didn't NEED four donuts but nobody really ever needs ONE, right? If calories are out the window, might as well go for broke. I did just that. Delicious and addicting. Sort of like a funnel cake donut in that it has a little more flaky crunch to it (much like a mini fritter) and they're all topped with some sort of ridiculously tasty additive. High marks for the French toast, bourbon caramel and glazed honey. It was probably like 8 days worth of sugar but who cares? Not me, friends. Not me.
After walking past Parlor Donuts in Oceanside approximately one million times, we finally gave in... and WOW. I may have had a legitimate out-of-body experience. It's been a rough week (hello, unexpected job loss), so I was in the mood for something unapologetically indulgent, and this absolutely delivered. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in, which honestly made the experience even sweeter. I ordered the truffle cheesecake donut and my husband had the maple pecan... and I genuinely cannot remember the last time I tasted something this ridiculously delicious. Light, decadent, melt-in-your-mouth magic. Learn from our mistake: do not keep walking past this place. Stop immediately. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Just get the donut.
I noticed so many people carrying boxes from Parlor that I decided I just had to try it. I even stopped someone who was bringing a box back to our hotel to ask about them, and they raved that the donuts were incredibly soft--almost like a croissant. They were absolutely right! They have a massive selection to choose from, and I ended up trying the French Toast donut. It had that exact light, pillowy, croissant-like texture the other guest mentioned. I also loved that it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet like donuts from other shops can be. It was so light that I enjoyed it in the morning and still had plenty of room for breakfast afterward. My only regret is that I didn't have a bigger group with me--I wish I could have ordered a bunch of different flavors to share. I'll definitely be back for more!
We came here on Tuesday night, before closing and ordered 2 white chocolate blondes, the drinks were yummy, but on the sweeter size. We didn't get the doughnuts, but definitely want to come back and try some. They made our kids quickly. I liked that they had outdoor seating as well, so you're able to grab some treats and a drink, and take a seat outside.
I'm surprised to realize that I've not reviewed them before. I have been here several times and always enjoyed my donuts. Depending when you go, parking isn't too bad. There's street parking just outside. I've never been when there's a wait either. I'm always greeted by an enthusiastic helpful staff member who can answer all my questions. There are so many flavors to choose from and they change. On this visit after looking at all the choices, we chose the French toast donut which was slated to be the most popular. We asked if they could cut it in half but we were told they are not allowed and that there are knives nearby. We took our donut and we sat outside on their picnic benches. It was a lovely day to be sitting outside. There were several people out there already eating their donuts and drinking coffee. It was a bit challenging to cut through the donut with the plastic knife, as it's pretty thick. The outside was crispy while the inside was pillowy and doughy. It was a nice combination. I didn't really get the flavor of French toast, but either way it was still very flavorful and we enjoyed it. Afterwards we walked down to the pier to walk off some of the carbs we had just eaten. I love showing people this place and I will continue to return for their donuts .
If I was about to be buried and at my funeral someone showed up after eating a parlor donut and it so happened that some donut dust hit my casket ... I would RISE FROM MY SLUMBER and SUCK those fingers dry to the bone. That's how good these donuts are. Man these donuts hit every time. If you visit Oceanside and don't visit parlor donuts you're doing yourself a disservice! MUST VISIT. B FIH FIH FIHHHHHSTAHHHHH
Parlor is a essential and vital Oceanside experience. The coffee is bomb, the donuts are flavorful and unique, the service is helpful and kind (a trait not found much in the world). It's a small shop with a great ambiance and vibe. Family friendly and the have a great small selection of Parlor Doughnut merch. We sampled 6 donuts : lemon, churro, sandy beach, French toast, coconut, blueberry. All good choices but French toast was the majority winner. We will be going back after 11 to try the new Savory pizza style selections. You can't say you have been to Oceanside unless you go to Parlor Doughnuts!
Anywhere I go that has a Parlor Doughnuts, I have to go. They have the largest and most delicious Doughnuts I've eaten. They have a loyalty program so don't forget to sign up. Everyone here is really nice too.
Beyond Disappointing. Please note this review is specifically for the Vegan & Gluten Free Donuts. I'll gladly update this review if there are updated/changes to these options. For a place that takes pride (clearly visible in their regular donuts), why the hell would you put vegan & gluten free in the same donut without providing regular vegan options too? To top it off, all the donuts are $4.25 EACH for the tiniest bite size donut. It doesn't matter what kind of toppings, frosting, glaze etcetera that you put on it, a gluten free item is tasteless (or I should say tastes the exact same with a worse after taste than any regular dairy made donut). Also for those that are unaware, most gluten free items are dry too. It doesn't say on the menu nor did the very sweet & kind hostess that helped us tell me about them until after I asked her what those little tiny things the Pastry Chef was making in the back. She said those are your donuts & proceeded to tell me they were baked not fried & that they were both vegan & gluten free. I was ordering these donuts thinking that they had the option of EITHER vegan OR gluten free options. Very disappointing considering I researched this space & was told by local friends that it's a must. The regular donuts look absolutely gorgeous & taste (I had to stay neutral about the overall venue & took a bite of my Girlfriends donut) pretty damn good. Do better on the Vegan & Gluten Free donuts. Keep up the high integrity & high quality product that you showcase in the glass cases up front. I'll look forward to coming back in the future. Hopefully there will be some better options (I'm back in town in November). Thank you Team Parlor Doughnuts for the overall hospitality.
We stopped into Parlor Doughnuts in Oceanside this morning and really enjoyed it. We got there right when they opened and had no trouble ordering, and the case was already full of fresh options. The shop itself has a clean, old-school look to it, and it's a good kind of busy inside with people coming in for coffee and boxes to go. We picked out a mix of flavors -- s'mores, churro, raspberry pistachio, strawberry shortcake, and bourbon pecan. All of them were light and layered, almost like a croissant doughnut, and the texture stood out right away. The churro was coated nicely with cinnamon sugar, the raspberry pistachio had a bright flavor and a good crunch from the nuts, and the s'mores one had that classic chocolate and marshmallow combo. The strawberry shortcake was one of our favorites with the whipped topping and real berry flavor, and the bourbon pecan was rich without being too sweet.

Not your typical donuts. Their donuts are delicious, flaky and fluffy and you can't get enough. Worth the money and won't be disappointed. They are a mix of croissant and donut with different flavors. My family and I got different one and split up to share. I haven't tried their coffee but I will come back again to explore more on the menu. Highly recommend. read more
Probably in the top 3 of donuts I've ever had, if not #1. As others have noted, what really sets Parlor apart is the texture- it's hard to describe, but it's fluffy, layered, and just the right amount of richness. Almost as if a cinnamon bun, brioche, and a yeast donut had a baby. I could slam these things all day if left unsupervised (dangerous). All the flavors we tried were delicious (if not just a tad too sweet, but treat yo self ya know). The commonality though again was that excellent texture. To die (or drive to Oceanside) for. Just go! read more
Parlor doesn't sell donuts - it's all cronuts.... remember like 5 years ago when cronuts were all the rage? Croissant donuts! There are about 16 flavors of cronuts and tea and coffee. Only 1 size of drinks hot or iced. I haven't had anything that wasn't amazing but here are my favorites: Iced pumpkin latte Hot maple brown sugar latte (latte art) Turtle cheesecake donut Again, everything is great. The more you buy, the less each item costs. Great service and nice t shirts, mugs and to go items. Great addition to Oside! read more

Always come here for a quick sweet treat when down by the beach. The sandy beach is the absolute best consistent donut around and the speciality flavors are always fun to take a look at! Service is short but good. They have coffee but never tried it. Will for sure be back. read more

O M G ! A must try doughnut it's not a doughnut actually it's a little piece of heaven but seriously it's a cross between a doughnut and a croissant. Get one of each ! This place is so tasty! I was just walking by and I had to stop in, and I was happily surprised. The doughnuts are not like your typical donuts, but they are very flaky, and just as good. They had a good selection to choose from as well, with flavors that you don't typically come across. I ordered the cronuts and cream, and not only were the cronuts good, but their vanilla ice cream was delicious too! And you couldn't beat the price. The treat was huge! And it only cost $5. The atmosphere was very cute as well, very warm and inviting, and I loved the succulents! I will definitely remember this place when I need a morning coffee, or a sweet treat. So good! read more

Food: Parlour Doughnuts in Oceanside serves its distinctive layered, croissant-adjacent doughnuts. These doughnuts are unique in texture and taste. I've been here a few times and have tried a range of flavors; they are quite good. Mostly delicious, but I've had bites that can be a tad try (especially if you didn't get any frosting on the bite). Sometimes there's a solid line, sometimes it's quick. Service: Since it's counter service, they take your order, get your doughnuts, you pay, and you leave. Sometimes the service is really friendly, sometimes it's just a quick in and out. Final Thoughts: When you're craving something sweet, you can't go wrong with a croissant-doughnut hybrid. Definitely worth a shot if you love doughnuts or pastries. The range of flavors ensures you'll likely find something within your taste. I recommend buying a few, cutting them into fourths, and sharing with friends as a way to taste test. read more

Cute spot decently close to the beach and pier. Super easy to walk up and grab a coffee and doughnuts. They have some other breakfast items as well if you're looking for more savory but I would say no matter GET A DOUGHNUT! I have never had a doughnut like one of these. They are flaky, fluffy, and everything I want in a doughnut. They have super creative flavors that are gorgeous to look at. I went with the strawberry shortcake and it did not disappoint. It wasn't overly sweet and it was melt in your mouth. I was so sad when I took my last bite! 10/10 check this place out. read more

Just happened to pass Oceanside for late lunch and this Parlor Doughnut truck parked outside the store catches my eyes and decided to pay a visit! I got two doughnuts one Maple Pecan and one Blueberry Hill! They taste absolutely delicious and this type of layered doughnuts are what Parlor famous for. Besides Doughnuts, the store also have coffee, Açai bowl, breakfast taco, breakfast sandwich, milkshakes, juices and kombucha. If I stay longer, I would definitely try different items. I would like to give the doughnuts 5 stars! The reason for 3 stars is the service needs a lot of improvement! I cannot connect the service with the store ambience. No smile, no greeting, and no enthusiasm! hmmm.... I really like the Doughnuts! Hopefully next time I visit the store, the service will get improved! read more

Was stoked to see a donut shop open on a Saturday at 4:30 pm. The shop was clean, had a good selection of decadently decorated donuts and was asked if I needed help. Was looking for something a little less sweet, since I'm sweet enough Appreciated the employees suggestions and settled on the Strawberry Shortcake and shared with my mom. It was perfect! read more
I do not eat doughnuts very often, so when I do I want them to be worth it, these were worth it. They have several different options of flavors to choose from, some are unique flavors. They also have a few mini options to choose from. We got the Campfire, Cookies n Cream, Maple Bacon, and the Chocolate with Chocolate Chips. These doughnuts are light and airy and full of flavor. These doughnuts are a little expensive, $3 each but they are worth it. read more
These cronuts are amazing. Frostings can sometimes be too sweet and unnatural when it comes to taste. Not here!!! Bought 2 dozens to share with friends and cousins family. The kids loved the chocolate chocolate, carnival and s'mores. My fave are Reese' s, maple bacon and honey lavender. Bought a couple of keto donuts for hubby. He said meh... doesn't taste as good as the ones that makes you fat lol. Line was all the way to the street at 10am, we came back an hour later with maybe 20 people ahead. Waited 25 min but didn't let the long line deter me. It's so worth it. read more

This was such a cute donut spot I loved the ambiance it already got my attention from a block away. They had so many wonderful flavors it was so hard choose. We let the kids pick since we stopped for them. But we regret not getting a box for ourselves and taking it home. I tried my daughters chocolate sprinkles and it was amazing!!! It didn't have that oily taste that I usually taste from regular donuts. Must try place if you are in the area and make sure you take a box home! read more

There was a line already as we approached the shop. It seemed popular on the Yelp app and saw a quite a few tourists/visitors walking around with the donut boxes. So we thought to give it a try. We bought 4 donuts: blueberry, French toast, coconut, and churro. All look appetizing and mine was delicious. Don't count calories coz' this ain't the place. Will be a returning customer. read more

Last day of my work trip here in Carlbad, so I had to show appreciation to the team at the office for their patience and support the best way I know how-- give them donuts! I decided to come by in the morning before work, and instead of making the touch decision of which to pick, I simply asked the person helping me to give me 18 difference types of donut. It surprised me that there were so many options that not one of the donuts I got were alike. The menu showed that it offered vegan/gluten free AND keto friendly donut- which is nice for those who many have diet restrictions or are simply watching their food intake. I was I a rush so I did not get a picture of the menu, but I saw they also offered coffee, juice & kombucha, savory breakfast goods, "doughboy milshakes" which are basically the milkshake versions of the various donuts they had on display. Not sure what the exact cost the donuts were individually, but the more donuts you buy the cheaper it becomes- if that makes senses. I am glad I got the donut holes on the way to work, because within an hour the 18 donuts were gone. I was also surprised that none of my coworkers knew about Parlor's Doughnut. I'm glad that I put them on to something good before ending my work trip. If I ever do come back to Carlsbad for work, I would definitely make a stop here again. read more
Stopped in after lunch, there were 5 of us all first timers. The donuts were super yummy, would go back solely for them. However the customer service was pretty bad. Right off the bat we were asked how many donuts we wanted and we didn't have an answer because we just didn't know yet. Once we started ordering donuts I was not sure if it was miscommunication or what but the girl helping us rolled her eyes, seemed to get frustrated, then completely stopped helping us and went to building boxes. Unfortunately the attitude we received dulled down our experience, will find a different donut spot. read more

So my buddy and I ended up in Oceanside after some shopping at Irvine Spectrum yesterday and found this spot on Yelp! Parking was a little hard to find down the street and it was a short walk to get to the shop. There was a line of about 6 people in front of us when we walked in and there were multiple parties outside enjoying some doughnuts as well. They had a good selection and all of them looked amazing. We chose to get the French Toast and Sandy Beach, which were labeled as "best sellers". Both employees working behind the counter were super nice and friendly as well. We found a table outside to try the doughnuts and both of us thought that the French Toast and Sandy Beach were incredible! This spot was definitely worth the visit and I'd highly recommend to anyone that loves doughnuts in the area! read more
Wow! Wow! Wow! Is all I can say! These doughnuts are amazing! Came across this doughnut place while in Oceanside with my husband. We had had some lunch and drinks and were walking around town and saw this place so we decided to go in and check it out. He got the maple pecan and I got the turtle cheesecake and I am going to say that I don't think I have ever had a doughnut this good. It's a mix between a doughnut and a croissant absolutely delicious. They have a variety of flavors to choose from. You have to try when In Oceanside! I know I will be back! read more

This place had been on one of my mental bookmarks of places to go to. I recently & finally got that chance when some Framily was in town! And oh my goodness the doughnuts are delectable!!! There are many flavor choices and we got a bunch to try. We even were able to have some for breakfast the next day. The treats are like a cronut however I didn't see anything stating that this is such the case. So I'm not quite sure but the batter and consistency was the best I've probably have ever had. It's now on my actual bookmarks because I definitely will come back. I see they have other breakfast items on the menu as well. I'm intrigued to try that too! Any un~birthday or actual birthday is a great excuse to feed your sweet tooth! These would make for a great romantic gift even! The only issue here was their method of payment was not working properly and they had to manually enter my card information in. They said this had been an ongoing problem ~~ so hopefully they can resolve that soon. read more

This is more than just your average doughnut but an experience of deliciousness. They are freshly made signature doughnuts... I've tried most of their doughnuts and each flavor is so yummy. Can't say that I didn't like any of the flavors I've tried.... Must go when you're in Oceanside. Don't be shocked if there's a line that is our the door... it's so worth it.... read more

Can you order parlor donuts online and could they be mailed to Ohio?
Hi Joe, Because we cannot guarantee the same quality and experience as you’d receive in-store, we currently do not ship our donuts.
Do you know if they accept ApplePay? They're not picking up their phone. I forgot my wallet at home (in Rancho Bernardo) and I'm in the area? 😭
Yes, I've only used Apple Pay there
Do they deliver?
What is the carb and protein content on the keto doughnuts?
Who cares?!!! It's a amazing treat! You probably shouldn't even try them. They are only for foodies!
Hi i wana buy im on Fontana CA. You send box?
I'm almost positive they don't ship. But I'm sure they will be able to answer your questions if you call 😊
