If you are looking for a fun morning treat in the North County, PopUp Bagels in Oceanside is an absolute must-try! The customer service was top-tier, and the cheerful, welcoming atmosphere made the experience much better. Instead of typing out every single bagel flavor I got, I attached a photo of the receipt below so you can check out the full haul; which was every flavor. This might end up being one of my shortest reviews because the consensus is so simple: every single bagel I bought, I tried--and every single one was flat-out good. I also grabbed a whole variety of their unique schmears and flavored spreads, all of which were great. Having traveled to the East Coast more times than I can count, I've eaten a lot of bagels out there. While New York still holds the crown for the absolute best, in my opinion, (no shade, NY bagels are just in a league of their own!), PopUp Bagels comes remarkably close. Hands down, this is the most flavorful bagel spot I've found on the West Coast. Tips: Grip, Rip & Dip with the Kids: They don't do traditional sliced sandwiches here. You get warm, whole bagels fresh out of the oven to tear apart and dip into tubs of cream cheese or butter--it's interactive and a total hit with the kids. Pre-Order or Go Early: Lines can build up fast, so pre-ordering online or arriving early in the morning guarantees you get your pick of the hot bagel batches and rotating seasonal spreads before they sell out. I loved tearing into these warm bagels. East Coast friends or local West Coasters--what's your absolute favorite cream cheese flavor? Drop your top pick in the comments below.

Woo! Yet another SD location! PopUp Bagel is a KNOWN bagel chain from the East Coast. You're meant to enjoy their bagels in a rip and dip type of fashion. Definitely some of my favorite bagels! Of their bagels, my favorites are the Salt and Everything. Of the schmears, their Scallion one is by far the winner for me. Always fresh, always amazing!

We finally tried PopUp Bagels and I can see why everyone is talking about this place! Everything was so fresh, and the bagels had that perfect chewy texture with a deliciously crisp outside. We tried the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Butter spread and absolutely loved it. It had the perfect balance of cinnamon and brown sugar without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated. It complemented the bagel perfectly without overpowering it. The whole experience was simple, fresh, and delicious. Definitely a spot I'd come back to when I'm craving a really good bagel. Can't wait to try more of their spreads and flavors!

Great bagel shop! The service was helpful when I told them I've never been there. The little shop was cute, I liked the decor and it was very clean. The bagels were delicious and fresh! They were crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside. The only thing I didn't realize when I got there was it wasn't a normal bagel shop that you can get a bagel sandwich You have to buy 3 or more. But that's ok! I bought the bagels, plain, salt and everything bagel and ate all of them with plain cream cheese and they were all delicious!

I've seen this place really busy but a Sunday morning surprisingly had no wait so I had to try it. Best bagels ever. It was pipping hot with a nice chewy inside and salted enough throughout. The scallion cream cheese was recommended by the server and it did not disappoint. This is definitely best eaten on the spot and if there's no line, I'm coming back for more.

I was looking forward to trying PopUp Bagels. They did not disappoint. It's amazing how they are served very warm and fresh and they stay warm for a long time. They also tasted good the next day. I am not eating all the bagels at once! Pack your patience when you go as this is one of the more difficult places to park.

While waiting in line for Tanners I went to PopUp Bagels to check them out. It was later in the day so they were out of a lot of bagels but I was still able to get a 2 plain and 1 salt bagel with a plain schmear. I wish I came in time to get the jalapeno popper schmear I am so sure that would be delicious. The store itself is really welcome, open and well decorated and cashier was really friendly. My husband and I didn't eat the bagel until late in the evening, toasting it perfectly and piling on a heaping layer of schmear. The bagel itself has a really good chew to it but it's a little on the small side. Definitely want to come back at an earlier time and hope to try the jalapeno popper schmear!!

We visited Pop Up Bagels soon after opening. It is nice to have a bagel shop nearby, something the area was lacking. We were excited about the pull and dip method. I would give their whipped cream cheese 5 stars. However, the bagels only 4. The bagels were a little too chewy for our taste. We also were not a fan that you need to purchase 3 bagels and not alot of options. I give this 4 stars due to convenience, service and taste. It is not really their fault chewy isn't our thing. Yet, there is room to grow. We love a good boiled and toasted later. I order them from Brooklyn NY. Great to have a place here when you have a craving. #PopUpBagels # Oceanside #Whipped #Flavoful

So happy I tried these bagels! They really taste like NY bagels and that's hard to find in California. They were warm and so fresh when we picked them up. I love their smears and they have special ones every week. My favorite is the salted butter, creamy and delicious!

Bagels are fresh and hot/warm. Flavor variety is salt, sesame, poppyseed, everything, plain, and one other flavor (I can't remember). We visited twice in a 2 week span. Both times we got the vegan cream cheese which is a cashew base with a scallion flavor and $3 more than its non vegan counterpart. It's rich and good, wish they had other vegan flavors too. For the non-vegans, there are lots of flavors to choose from. Our girls ate their bagels plain the first time and the second time, we brought a little PB for them so they could enjoy a topping. We brought our leftover bagels home to enjoy the next day and they were still tasty (not like the first day obviously, but still really good). There are 1-2 tables inside and more seating outside, however, still limited. People seem to always be waiting for tables which aren't very kid friendly since they are bar height stools. No bathrooms- you'll have to go next door. Service is friendly and quick. Wish they had more vegan flavors, although, a bit pricey once you add in the up charge for vegan cream cheese.

Back at it again!! I tried some out yesterday, and guess what? I am back at it again and I got a whole 6-pack this time. Plain, salt , everything and poppy . There is a new spread, Japanese poppers, but we ended up getting the scallion. This spot is a vibe with bagel lovers in the area. Will definitely come back for a weekly routine :)

Counter set up with all of their schmears, and plates and utensils.

Amazing! Bagels are fresh, boiling hot...LITERALLY! The establishment is very clean and inviting and fits the Oceanside vibes perfectly. They have their regular Schmears available and a rotating one. This week was Jalapeño and omg! my favorite! Especially fitting for Southern California. The staff was absolutely amazing and inviting. If it's your first time, let them know and they will help you decide what to get. They have outdoor seating which is perfect on a sunny morning. Or grab some bagels to go! Definitely won't be my last time here!

OK, so I have to check out what all the hype was about. When it first opened there was constantly aligned but it seems like it is actually died down now at least on a weekday at 8:30 AM. My friend grabbed us some everything bagels and cream cheese and honestly, it was great. The bagels were moist and chewy and the everything part it was just covered! If you're in the area, I would recommend checking it out!

I drop a few miles east of the freeway but was finding nothing. As I was driving, I randomly spotted two dudes sitting and eating at the side of a tire shop, at least that's what it looked like at first. Looking closer, I see the sign, "Come On Over Cafe". I thought, I just might! Pulled over and pulled up the internet and man, this could work out. As I found the place, it was next to a tire shop but it's it own deal. The menu looked great, but I was HUNGRY. 2 items stood out to my taste buds, either the Tuna Melt or the Italian sandwich. I asked the guy at the counter for his recommendation and he (and the lady) both offered their input. I pulled the trigger on the Italian, hot style. When I say that this sandwich slapped, I mean, it hit on at least 5 levels. Every sauce, ingredient, combination was 10/10. The bun was great, the meat was great, the sauces, I mean, I was blown away. I absolutely want to come back hear for a breakfast item. This was an absolute gem of a find. And to Cami B, who left a 1 star review claiming all the other reviewers are "extremely biased", that's how reviews work, Einstein! I'm biased towards quality, good taste and decent people. I assume they make a certain amount and when they're gone they close and that's probably the way most places do it. Donuts were good, not greasy. I'm not a big donut person so they were ok and comparable to most places that don't have a greasy donut that leaves that oily taste in your mouth. What I really came for was the ham and cheese croissant but it was a little disappointing. Prices were actually much higher than I was expecting. We paid almost $20 for a ham and cheese croissant, blueberry cheese danish and 6 donuts including a cinnamon twist thing that I assume was supposed to be more than the others but I can't wrap my head around $18.30 for what we ordered.
