Parmesan and spinach bagel, well, half a bagel! Yum!

Stopped by a local bagel shot this morning, Great set up at this shop, waiting are, separate order pick up area, inside seating, coffee prep area away from the front with flavored creamers, half and half, 2% milk, and sweetener packets. Fast service and fresh bagels smeared well. Oh, fresh squeezed OJ too! Worth a stop, nice lunch menu too!

As a vegan, it's pretty hard for me to find good "quick" breakfast options, but I was lucky to find that I Love Bagels serves a delicious veggie sandwich that can be made vegan!!! I got an everything bagel with all the fixings (no cheese, no mayo) and it even came with a bag of chips. Service was friendly, and food came out quickly despite it being very busy on a Monday morning! I decided to dine in, and was lucky to grab a table. There are about 6-7 tables with chairs indoors, a sofa in the waiting area, and about 2-3 tables with chairs outdoors. The place felt very home-y: it seems like the type of place that has a lot of regulars which is rare in a world full of fast food chains. The owner was even walking around and talking to some fellow customers. I had a great time here, and hope to come again! I Love I Love Bagels!!!!!!!!

SO glad I came across this place. I always see it passing the 76 freeway, and finally got to try it. Food - Bagel sandwich is exactly what I wanted in one. Being able to select your cheese is great, and the customization is awesome. It adds time to the time, but that's okay. Service - VERY friendly and very helpful. And everyone working there on a busy Sunday morning looked like they were hustling. Ambiance - Can be a quick takeout spot or you can sit down on one of their patio tables or few tables inside.

Great bagels in this small modest store front. The staff at 6:00 a.m. this morning was extremely helpful and cheery. We like the jalapeño cheese bagels. Our friends in Palm Desert "the bagel experts" love these bagels. We have nothing like this quality in the desert. So we stop here every time we're in Oceanside. Oh and by the way don't forget the cream cheese, the jalapeño is our favorite.

This place is amazing. The bagels are the best I've had in San Diego County and I think that's because of the two people that run it that are a nice couple from New Jersey. They've been doing us a long time and they know what they're doing.

Where ever we go, my husband has to find the local bagel shop. It's his go to, that or burritos, this was on the way to a destination, he yelped it I think, and it was great! They were popular, but we didn't have to wait too long, the place had their regulars and to-go orders and was in a busy shopping corner center. No complaints.

Loved this bagel shop! Stopped here on the way to Boomers and ordered a bacon egg and cheese bagel. While the sandwich was just okay, the bagel itself is phenomenal! Soft, chewy, with a slightly crispy edge. My boyfriend ordered the chocolate chip bagel with cream cheese and he raved about it! Plus all of the photos from the establishment's opening was awesome! We even recognized the owner working in the back from the pictures on the wall. It's clear he takes pride in what he does. The service is fast even when it's busy and it overall gave off a great vibe.

Any bad reviews are probably not from the north east coast I'm very shy but these folks manage a smile outta me. Incredible vibes. Best bagels in San Diego county. It's been months since I've had a taste of home because I got into a crash and lost my car recently. I couldn't wait to get a car and come on back here. Today was my second day in a row !!! Worth the 35 minute drive every time. Thank you guys for making it easy when the going gets rough

I was picking up my fur babies at the Humane Society and Elsa offered me one of your absolutely AMAZING bagels.. I ate it this morning and almost died of deliciousness. It must have been Cinnamon Toast Crunch??? Oh my goodness!!! Best thing ever!!!

My favorite bagel place. We grabbed a dozen bagels and lunch at the same time. I had the Ruben and my husband had the cheesesteak. Everything was delicious. Even an untoasted bagel was delicious! They jalapeño cream cheese has some serious bite to it. Their strawberry cream cheese is awesome. And their plain is better than Philadelphia cream cheese. Parking can be a pain during lunch time but cars come and go quickly, we didn't wait long for an open spot. Staff is friendly and work super fast to get you on your way. I just wish I was closer to this location. It's worth the drive. All these flavors are tried and true: Cinnamon raisin, plain, blueberry, cranberry, chocolate chip, jalapeño, and everything.

The shop is small, located in a strip mall, but you can smell the fresh, house-made bagels as soon as you walk in, which is always a good sign. The menu is simple but has everything you'd want: fresh bagels, toppings, and hearty bagel sandwiches. They even feature a bagel of the week. I went with the cheese jalapeño bagel and ordered "The Notch" (lox, cream cheese, tomato, onion, and capers). I asked for mine open-faced, which was an extra $2.50 on top of the $18 price, but that's about what I usually pay at home, so it felt fair. The portion was generous with plenty of cream cheese, thick slices of tomato and onion, and a healthy serving of lox. The bagel itself was very fresh, though I was expecting a stronger jalapeño and cheese flavor--it leaned more bready than bold. The toppings definitely carried the flavor. Hopefully, that was just an off day for the bagel itself. One downside: some of the toppings are displayed openly in a case, and we did notice a couple of flies, which took away from the otherwise fresh, clean feel. The shop has a few small tables and a casual setup with a drink case and coffee bar. Staff was quick, efficient, and helpful, though not overly conversational. Overall, Golden State Bagel is a convenient stop for a fresh bagel sandwich, and while I wasn't blown away by the bagel itself, the toppings were excellent and the location is very handy.

I assume they make a certain amount and when they're gone they close and that's probably the way most places do it. Donuts were good, not greasy. I'm not a big donut person so they were ok and comparable to most places that don't have a greasy donut that leaves that oily taste in your mouth. What I really came for was the ham and cheese croissant but it was a little disappointing. Prices were actually much higher than I was expecting. We paid almost $20 for a ham and cheese croissant, blueberry cheese danish and 6 donuts including a cinnamon twist thing that I assume was supposed to be more than the others but I can't wrap my head around $18.30 for what we ordered. I legit think she charged me for 15 donuts instead of 5 cuz I saw something ring up as 15. Based off that I can confidently say I won't return. Items werent worth what I paid and if it was an error charge, the employee should have known that what I ordered was not close to $20 so I cant recommend this place

Great variety, stores well in the freezer. The viennoiseries are a combination of classic and unique, and amazing: you have to try their fig bar! Do not try their almond and chocolate croissant though, please. Otherwise they will ran out and I won't be able to get mine. I compared their regular butter croissant with other "French" ones, and this one wins by a huge margin: airy, fluffy, just enough sweetness. They recently expanded in their main location, now you can get a sandwich, coffee and pizza. They also collaborate with other local vendors and you can find some unique items in their fridge.
