I have been there twice now and have yet to ever taste one of their donuts. I went once on a Thursday at 8 AM to get some donuts for the office and they were closed. No reason just closed. Went today on a Friday at 8:30 to get a dozen donuts for the office and they had run out of donuts now I know donut shops get busy but the one that is close to my house in Orange County is never out they're always making fresh donuts and replenishing the shelves for a donut shop to just run out really shows that they're not interested in meeting the demand anyway there will never be a third time. My grandkids enjoy donuts, so on our camping trip I searched for a donut place nearby. This location is in a strip mall. The parking is a little tight and although it may seem like there is plenty of parking it looks like it could fill up quickly with the other business stores in the area. The lot was already quite full when we pulled in the lot. I was able to spot the donut shop right away not only because of the store sign, but the donut flag sign that was blowing in the wind made it really obvious. There were already a few people in line, so as we waited (the grandkids running around inside), I looked over the selections. I apologized for the grandkids horsing around (no sugar yet!) and the gal was kind and understanding. We selected our choices along with bottled drinks. Our choices: Plain croissant Butter Bar M&M donut Chocolate twist Sprinkled donut holes Glazed old fashion Blueberry old fashion Even though we didn't finish most of our choices everything was delicious. This was my first visit to this doughnut shop, but it won't be my last. The number one thing that struck me was that the doughnuts weren't loaded with sugar, which seemed to let the flavors come through. Usually, if I eat two doughnuts, my head is swimming from the sugar overload. I had a Boston Cream filled doughnut AND a large bear claw, and never felt the sugar effects. Instead, I could taste the apple flavor in the bear claw. Yum! The woman who waited on me at the counter was personable and friendly. There was a nice selection even though it was late morning.
