While heading from Del Mar to Knott's Berry Farm on vacation I hit the "donut" category on my GPS and was directed to this gem. After one bite out of my apple fritter I knew I would be going back. On my second trip I got one of their "giant" donuts just for the photo op, but it turned out to be pastry perfection. Not only was it chocolate frosted, but it was also glazed before the frosting was applied creating a throughough sweetness that last only moments because I couldn't stop eating once I started. Its unfortunate that Dunkin Donuts has a stranglehold on the northeast. I'd love to see little shops pop up here at home. read more
