The employee was helping someone else and steered me to the kiosk. I was using one of my rewards and I told her. She advised that redeeming rewards works better on the app. I stood and stared at the display of choices. I stood there so long that she asked me if I needed assistance. I was just struggling to decide. I asked the woman ahead of me what she recommended. She said good old chocolate chip or s'more. I went with the s'more, ordered through my app and a minute later I was walking out the door with my fresh cookie. Pretty easy. I had a few other stops to make but when I got home my cookie was still fresh and crunchy. It was chocolatey goodness. I need to check the flavors more often. They are so good. I've been to Crumbl in Carlsbad several times, but this past Friday was my first time doing an online order ahead. I ordered the soccer themed bundle for my boyfriend and it turned out so cute and well done. They even added a printed note on the outside like I requested, which I really appreciated. My order was ready right on time and the staff member working was friendly and helpful. The shop itself is clean, bright, and smells amazing. I also like that you can see the kitchen and watch everything being made. The cookies are fun and the flavors rotate often, which keeps it interesting. Some are definitely better than others, and presentation can be a little inconsistent at times, but overall it's still a fun treat. I really love that they offer mini versions too. I absolutely love when they do themed cookies for holidays and events. It actually gets me to come in even though it's a bit of a drive for me. Parking is easy with a lot available, though it does get busy in that whole Costco area. Overall, I'll definitely keep coming back :) read more

Really disappointing experience, especially considering I spent almost $50. I placed my order through the app and was already disappointed to find out that one of the cookies I ordered was unavailable. I also paid extra for a birthday box, only to arrive and find out they were apparently out of those too. No one told me this beforehand, and instead my order was put in a regular box with a bow stuck on it, despite the fact that I paid extra for the birthday packaging. Then I was told they were out of frosting. At a cookie shop where so many of the cookies depend on frosting, I honestly don't understand how that happens or why more couldn't be made, especially when customers are continuing to place and pay for orders. On top of all of that, the store itself looked disgusting. There was food and debris all over the floor, and the display cookies looked like people had taken bites out of them or had been touching them. Whether or not that was actually the case, that's certainly what it looked like, and it was really unappetizing and gross to see when you're purchasing food. What made the experience even more frustrating was the customer service. One employee was sitting on the floor watching TV while I was there. Even if she was on a break, it's not a great look for customers walking into the store, particularly when the store is dirty and they're out of multiple items and ingredients. For nearly $50, I expected to receive what I ordered and paid for, or at the very least receive better communication and customer service. Instead, I left feeling like I paid premium prices for substitutions, missing items, a dirty store, and an overall disappointing experience. Definitely not what I expect from Crumbl. read more

The cookies are amazing, large, tasty, delicious, and decent variety - especially with the rotating menu. This location is in a little strip mall in the corner of a Costco. The parking is spotty and I usually end up having to park down by the Costco and walk over. The staff here are not very friendly. They never have a smile on their face, never greet you, and seem annoyed when you ask them a question. Their iPad ordering machines are troublesome, and only 1 works well most of the time. The rest are not reliable, and it is annoying. Crumbl has a rewards program and you used to get a free cookie on your birthday, but now you need to accumulate 500 points throughout the year. This recent visit I got the overprice Dubai cookie. It was tasty, better than I thought. I would not order it again with the outrageous overpricing for Dubai chocolate. The cookie is large, and it was good, but not work the $ in my opinion. They have other better flavors and they are not premium priced. I also tried the chocolate peanut butter brownie, it was decadent, delicious, and almost worth the $. It was not as large as the cookies, but large enough and something I would order again. Amazing creativity! I love the constantly changing variety. My daughter is crazy about these cookies and has begged me to take her here as a special treat. I've given in and taken her here to enjoy such flavors as the smores or key lime cookies. While she enjoys them very much, I find them to be very interesting but way overpriced and generally too sweet. And the vibe is totally sterile. Each time we've ordered at the kiosk and then picked up the box of cookie(s) the staff seem extremely nonchalant. It's almost robotic. And you can't sample the cookies at all. So while you might expect to have fun at the store and see and try new flavors, it's literally just a pick up place. Might as well order on doordash. read more

Can't go wrong with any location of Crumbl cookies as their cookies are always on par. Honestly more like cake than cookies sometimes but still worth it and delicious! This location was no different in quality of their cookies. The only difference I experienced here is that no workers were available to take orders whatsoever. Everything was through the kiosks/self service checkouts. You can try to get the attention of a worker for help, but good luck because they are quite busy fulfilling orders. Received Valentine cookies from my daughter on Valentine's Day. Although they looked beautiful they were stale and could tell they weren't freshly made. Took them back on Sunday. Store was closed. Brought them in on Monday morning and the "manager" said there was nothing she could do. I would have let it go but they are very expensive cookies and there were quite a few. Crumbl is always tasty! Just one cookie is so filling it could be a whole meal. I loved the pancake cookie this week! Unfortunately I should have checked my box when I picked it up, because I had ordered the lucky charms marshmallow cookie but got a milk chocolate chip one instead. Was pretty sad about the mixup, as that was the cookie I was most looking forward to trying. The shop is very clean and well kept. You have the option to either self order at one of two kiosks or you can order at the counter. When I went it was one person working. The cookies are freshly baked and whoever is working at that time prepares the toppings to-order. They are somewhat pricey though, so I only get them on special occasions like today. We have been to this location 3 or 4 times now and we have had more bad experiences than good. The workers have been rude and seem very cranky to be working. It is several young kids who don't seem to care about the customers. We had one experience where a single worker was friendly. During our last visit an older lady didn't know she had to use the self service machine to purchase the cookies, so she was just standing there confused why no one was helping her. She noticed us using a machine, so she was attempting to figure it out. I felt so bad for her. We also were disappointed with our cookie quality during our last visit. All of the cookies that should have been warm were cold and rock hard. They seemed as they were sitting around all day. We had to take them home and reheat them in the oven to try to re-create the warm factor, but they no longer tasted fresh at all. Lastly, the cookie dough cookie was lacking of the cookie dough that was supposed to be on it. Compared to what we saw on social, this cookie was very sad looking.
