This is an amazing place! Everything is naturally made and delicious. Price is fair for the quality and taste.

I came here about 10 minutes before their posted closing time, and the "Open" sign was still on, but they were already closed. There was no one at the front, and when I asked, the staff said they weren't serving anymore. I mentioned that the sign was still on, and it felt misleading. If you're going to close earlier than 10 PM, it should be updated on the sign or online. It's frustrating to drive out and expect service just to be turned away. Please update your hours so customers aren't misled. read more

Bad customer service. I came in and started looking at the menu. A treat caught my eye and I started asking questions about it, the only answer I got was "it's ice cream" and when I asked again for more detail on what the treat was all I got the same answer "it's ice cream" with a straight face. I understand it's ice cream because I entered an ice cream shop but what was on the menu looked more than a scoop of ice cream. It had what looked like candy and chamoy rim. I felt like she couldn't be bothered to explain the item on the menu with detail. I shut down because I got a little frustrated with the lack of assistance , that's when I flagged down another employe and got the same attitude. I then explained that I was looking for a drink with cucumber bits,chamoy rim and candy but she just said " I don't know" so I just ordered a regular aguas frescas. I felt so underwhelmed. After I ordered and sat down I saw "aguas locas" on the menu and it was what I was describing to the lady helping us. Neither of them could explain the menu, ask what I was looking for or redirect me to something similar. I have never experienced this in any other La Michoacana. I will definitely not be back. I'm all for supporting Michoacanas, I don't mind paying their ridiculous prices but for me BAD customer service is worse than a an overpriced tasteless aguas frescas. Hands down the best one with friendly staff is in Escondido next to North Gate Market. read more

Amazing little shop with açai bowls for a good price, ice cream, fresh fruit, snacks, like Takis and fruit popsicles. Best party is open till 10 PM. Stuff was super friendly, and the place was very clean. read more

The La Michoacana Ice Cream Shop is one of my favorite place to enjoy really delicious ice cream. Today I was served by Josh , I chose the one scoop of the Strawberry and one scoop of strawberry ice cream and one scoop of the pistachio ice cream. These two flavors tastes really good together. The price I was charged was $6.15 with the tax from Josh. I ate this delicious ice cream inside their ice cream shop. This ice cream is more expensive than regular ice cream because this is specialty ice cream. This ice cream treat i buy it once in a while when I can afford it. read more

Love love the fresh fruit juices made daily..we see employees preparing the fruit! They offer a nice variety of flavors..my go to Cucumber and lime..my son loves the mango orange..also horchata..strawberry..passionfruit, hibiscus and others to choose from. Ice cream and fruit ices are available.. I was offered a taste of the ice..the pineapple was very good. I must come back to try the ice cream .Their store is small but clean and we always get friendly service! read more

The pistachio ice cream has bits of actual pistachios in there, the rocky road is bold and; has heavenly marshmallows in there and the cookie monster is a guarantee LOVE for kids. The next day I was at the Mexican restaurant nextdoor and I saw one of the employees from the day before. I asked him if he got any tips from the previous day, he said no. read more

horrible service. i ordered tostilocos and i told her no peanuts and no champoy. she ended up putting chamoy and no valentina. when i told her after she made them, she argued with me. we asked her if she could remake them with no chamoy this time. she remade them and drowned them in valentina my partner was pissed and went to ask for a refund. and she had a snarky tone to her voice. won't ever be back to this location. read more

Great dessert options as well as açaí bowls! The only reason I subtracted a star is because they did not have the necessary ingredients to make acai bowls early in the morning when I ordered them. Really great paletas! Asked for recommendation for 6 yr old and got the Cookie Monster, which is the same color as, you guessed it, Cookie Monster. It was vanilla ice cream with Oreo-like cookies inside. My kid let me have a bite and it was incredible! I got the Mango Cream and it was delicious- had pieces of soft dried mango inside. They said they make all the items on-site. Both paletas were well worth the price and we look forward to going back. read more

Honestly the best coffee ice cream I've ever had. The flavor is called Starbucks, and it tastes exactly like a cup of Starbucks coffee, but ice cream, so it's better! The worker was also so sweet and helpful! read more

Their ice creams are delicious! No doubt. However, I am conflicted with their customer service. Ive gone twice with different people and the experience has been the same. the girls in the front just stare at us with no greet and I honestly felt uncomfortable being there. After we left my family members expressed how they felt the staff was not all that nice, felt they didn't really want to help and do not feel comfortable going back. I love acai bowls because they are healthy. Its my first time trying the acai from michoacana ice cream and the acai bowl is terrible, the acai has chunks of caramel that makes it too sweet. Won't ever get the acai bowl here. read more

We were so happy with our antojos we bought last night from La Michoacana, it was hard to choose from the menu because everything looked so yummy! Christopher went the extra mile for us, he was very patient while we were trying to decide what we wanted. We have visited other locations in the past and had bad experiences but at this location we received the attention every client deserves, friendly staff, clean store, and a variety of items to choose from!
