I honestly don't know why I keep giving them a chance. I went a couple months ago and was given an everything bagel for my sandwich when I ordered plain. When I went back to tell the lady in the front she replied "what do you want me to do about it". I told her to fix it and took back the other sandwich. Her attitude was shocking considering I came in a good mood. I came back today and the turkey wrap only had 2 thin pieces of turkey. I called in also because the wrap had jalapeños which is weird because the sign doesn't mention anything about jalapenos. I was told that because I asked for no onions it was replaced with jalapenos??? How does that make sense? I try to give them the benefit of the doubt since it's a small business but there's only so much a customer can take and those are only 2 of the many bad experiences read more

I really like their blueberry doughnuts! I can't find them anywhere else. The store setup is a little weird. It's a walk up place where you order at the window. You need to get there early otherwise they run out of your favorite flavors. There's not much of a selection, but what they have is pretty tasty. The staff aren't very welcoming, but they aren't rude either. I've never been greeted with a smile or a 'good morning' and they are all business when you order. I went out there just for the Apple Betty's, this was a childhood donut that I couldn't find anywhere. It was worth the drive, and the people were so awesome. I let them know I was coming out from Pasadena, they reserved a few for me. They tossed in a few extra and one was their award winning blueberry, it was delicious. Been wanting to try this out since moving to Vista. We got the chorizo bagel sandwhich and the bacon bagel sandwhich which were both very enjoyable. I preferred the chorizo more but liked how both scrambled in the meat with the eggs. The jalapenos on them were a nice addition that I don't normally see. There was also a chipotle mayo which was good. Prices here are great and the donuts looked amazing. Will definitely return soon to try the donuts next time. read more

Blueberry donuts are cool, but pistachio donuts are a Vista staple. I will always have room for these babies whenever I visit. It is a cute spot with walk up window ordering and a couple of outdoor tables. Not sure about parking because we usually walk all over downtown pretty easily. Hot damn! Now that's a donut!!! My co-worker promised to bring in some donuts from this place in Vista. Honestly, he didn't even know the name of the place but he did say they had some bomb blueberry donuts. Although he promised the donuts on the following Monday, I had seen nare a donut by the following Thursday. After asking him about this famously unknown donut establishment, he promised to bring them the following day. After a bit of donut sleuthing, I found out the place he was referring to was none other than Danny's Donuts. Well Friday rolled around and sure enough, he delivered on two dozen donuts-1 dozen blueberry and the other dozen assorted. And wooooo let me tell ya...these donuts did not disappoint. These bad boys were everything I wanted in a donut. I lucked out and scored the famous blueberry as well as a pistachio donut. Both were incredibly moist and flavorful. It had been a while since I'd had a special donut, one of my favorite treats on the planet, so this was an awesome treat. Thanks Michael! There are some of the best donuts around. They're like fluffy pillows of donut goodness. And they stay perfectly tasty over 12 hours later! But they've changed in the last couple years. There isn't as much chocolate on the donuts so you can tell they're handmade and not made with machine but it's a little disappointing when you pay $10.50 for a box of assorted donuts and you get several donuts that aren't covered in chocolate. If you're getting chocolate donuts and custard filled donuts that have just enough sugar but not too sweet nor irritatingly yucky sweet that other donut shops make. But they give you less custard than they used to. They now have weekly specials and with the apartments across the street parking is a little harder but maybe easier because now there are parking spots across the street if you want to run across South Santa Fe. read more
