In celebration of my mother-in-law's belated birthday, I made reservations at Paperboy - because my social media feed literally made me LOL. I made reservations online (imperative if you want to get in) and was pleasantly surprised when we were seated on the covered patio. A little note sat on our table saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY signed by everyone at the business - which I found to be so charming. Love it! The drink menu is delish sounding and I decided on the Earl Grey Cold Brew with a splash of milk - which was perfectly sweet and earthy. YUM!! The menu here is unique and divine all at the same time and ultimately, we opted to share a bunch of things - so we could get more of the menu ;) We landed on the raspberry lemon muffin to start, along with the following: garden frittata ----zucchini, roasted potatoes, cheddar cheese, chipotle crema, arugula, pickled shallot, dill // chicken & biscuit----crispy-fried chicken, country gravy, sunny egg*, spicy honey // paperboy pancake ----maple syrup, brown butter, sea salt // annnnd a side of sausage + cheddar hashbrown Everything came out beautiful in presentation, decent in portion size and tasted absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy and the gravy was to die for! I really liked the mixed greens on top of the frittata and left full and happy! Service and prices are on point, and I'd easily return :)

Fun Sunday brunch place which includes a farmers market before or after was a Sunday well spent. This place has a Midcentury vibe and clean. The food is also very delicious. We enjoyed the migas and added carnitas. It made nice tacos with soft scrambled eggs with peppers, onions, avocado, and a nice green salsa that had a kick. The ricotta toast also had a nice, different flavor with the papaya and similar mangonada toppings. The guava cheese danish tasted like a pastelito. Service was great and recommend checking out. Added bonus that you can make an OpenTable reservation.

Made a Resy ahead of time and was able to get seated right away. Service was a bit slow though from greeting to taking the order. For food, I ordered the Lox Plate (the smoked salmon tasted quite fresh and grilled scallion cream cheese paired really well with the salmon itself, as well with the crunch of the wild furikake). I also wanted something sweet from brunch as well and ordered the Paperboy Pancake + added chocolate chips (this was one of the most fluffiest pancakes I've ever had, it was a great size and just loved the texture of it, the brown butter was also really tasty and melted so easily). Plenty of seating indoors and has a large bar as well. Parking - On the Streets Restrooms - Clean

We heard about this place from friends and it exceeded expectations! We ordered the paperboy pancake, migas with pork carnitas, and chicken and biscuit. They were all delicious and I would order again! We will definitely be going back! Pro tip: go during the week or early on a weekend because the wait can get pretty long!

Might've discovered my favorite new brunch spot in Denver. Stopped in for a late brunch. Staff was very accommodating to our party size and the inclusion of a kiddo. For my friends birthday celebration they made her feel special. The place is spacious and clean. The chicken and biscuit was amazing and i could eat that every day of my life. Their pancakes are fluffy and delicious. Bloody Mary was tasty too and service was super prompt. 10/10 recommend, can't wait to come back!

Was really excited to see Paperboy come to the West Highlands neighborhood and fill the void we've had for a fun sit down brunch. The vibes here are amazing, and I appreciate the big garage windows and patios to make all the seating bright and airy. We loved sharing the brown butter paperboy pancake along with our individual breakfasts. I highly recommend the lox and jalapeño business cocktail that I ordered for myself. Can't wait to return and try more from this menu. jalapeño business (reposado tequila, pineapple, sage, jalapeño, lime) paperboy pancake (maple syrup, brown butter, sea salt) lox plate (citrus cured lox*, grilled scallion cream cheese, citrus kosho, pickled beets, cucumbers, wild rice furikake, shiso, flax toast)

It's rare that I go all in on brunch these days, so I'm pretty selective about where I go. Paperboy made it very easy to be excited about brunch again. This is their first Colorado location, originally from Austin, and it really feels like a neighborhood all-day café done right. I didn't even drink when I went, and honestly I'm glad because I got to fully focus on the food. We tried quite a bit and everything was genuinely great. The ricotta toast with strawberry, rhubarb, and honeycomb was fresh and balanced. The chorizo and potato empanada was flavorful, and the orange chai brioche roll and strawberry hibiscus pop tart were both standout pastries. The chicken and biscuit was a highlight. The fried chicken was juicy and tender with a really crispy, well-seasoned crust. Easily one of the better fried chicken dishes I've had in a while. The paperboy pancake and Texas hash were also solid, and the orange blossom cortado was a creative and really enjoyable coffee drink. Overall, this is a spot where everything feels thoughtful and well executed. Definitely one I'll be going back to.

I had to make this reservation 2 weeks in advance. I had the pancakes, personally not my favorite- definitely more cakey than I would like. But we had a gluten free baked good and that was amazing and my friend really enjoyed her chicken and waffles. Will definitely give it another try but would pass on the pancakes next time!

This austinite is very happy to see paperboy land in Denver! The pancake is essential to order. Pro tip: order it as an appetizer for the table to share. The poblano & cheddar biscuits were good but a bit over. The carnita migas were terrific, very flavorful. The coffees were super tasty and hit the spot. I'm happy to see a piece of Austin here.

They left a cute happy birthday card on my table for the occasion :)

Super cute and lively spot that's very family friendly. There's not a ton of room, so a reservation is highly recommended! It was my birthday, and they added a cute little card to the table. Food & drinks were delicious, honestly wish they were open for dinner!

I have been wanting to try this place but it's super busy on weekends. I had a weekday off and drove over here to try. It was mid afternoon and only half way full. Their acclaim is that they are from Texas but I would say it's more kitschy Austin area vs true Texas. The menu is light and servings are not huge. I got the chicken and biscuit which came with 1 egg, 1 Biscuit a side of gravy and hot honey and good portion of Chicken thighs. It was a good but I wish I had 1 more egg. My guest got the frittata and it was like a tiny rectangle frittata absolutely covered with greens. It was just ok. The glasses for tea are short glasses and I asked for Tea and our waiter just never brought another. I really wanted to try the pop tart and empanada but they were out by time we ordered. Overall it was ok but no AMAZING

My son took me here for a late Mother's Day brunch! Ambiance is chic and modern. Food was tasty, the favorite was the cinnamon toast!

We decided to make reservations for 10 people for brunch while we were visiting Denver. We showed up a little early but they were still able to accommodate us pretty quickly. Service was pretty good but I was a little frustrated that they ran out of empanadas and it was only 11 am and she forgot to bring the sausage with my order. I ordered the chocolate chip pancake and added the 2 sunny side eggs and sausage. My fiancée ordered the fried chicken and biscuit and hash brown. The pancake was a little different from the normal pancake and it was ok. My fiancée enjoyed the fried chicken and wasn't a fan of the biscuit. The hash brown was good but nothing special. Everyone in my party liked their food and drinks. I liked that they served cubes of rice krispy treats with the check. Overall it was a good experience. It's a cute restaurant and the restrooms are clean.

It can get loud as it fills up, but not overly so. The stars of the night were the service and food! Delightfully irreverent but never forgetting that this is an elevated experience. The service was amazing. Friendly, fun, helpful and ever present. The food though was AMAZING. We opted for the walk with us where you pick the main & then you get all the apps & deserts on the menu. Absolute heaven! We had the Halibut and the pork belly Bo SSAM (lettuce wraps). Both were to die for! But another star of the show was the shaken chef rice. It's hard to explain, but made for one of the most surprisingly amazing things I've eaten in a while. Then the evening ended with red miso ice cream with chocolate shell, banana brule and other wonderful toppings. This place deserves their Michelin recognition for sure!

Specials were shown on a polaroid, which was pretty cute. I thought that the concept of having the "Walk with Us" option was pretty cool - you choose your entree and then get to try the rest of the menu. We did not choose this option but it was very enticing as there were many options on the menu that looked yummy. We started with the oysters, then hamachi, and smacked cucumbers. We've tried many places in Denver but apparently smashed cucumbers are a tall order because Hey Kiddo finally mastered it - not too vinegary, too salty, or too spicy. It was a perfect mix of all 3. For main eats, my husband and I shared the Pork Belly Bo Ssam, Shaken Chef Rice, and Popcorn Chicken. The pork belly was awesome, very flavorful. Popcorn chicken was airy and had a decent amount of chicken to breading ratio. Shaken chef rice was a little heavy but still tasty. Overall, the food was great and we really enjoyed it. However, I could not get passed the 20% service charge added to the bill and gratuity was expected on top of that. The food itself is a bit pricey, would only go for a special occasion but to essentially pay 40% gratuity is something I cannot do again. Sadly, I would not return just because of it.
